One of the biggest parts of this project was staining the new handrails and banisters to match our existing flooring. Nelson showed my wife and me a wide range of stain samples, each carefully selected to closely match the tones of our floors. He was patient and helpful throughout the selection process, and the final result was a perfect match to the sample we chose. The stain not only looks beautiful on its own, but it really ties the whole area together and makes everything feel cohesive and intentional. In addition to the staining, Nelson painted all the trim around the stairs and banisters. This fresh coat of paint gave the space a clean, crisp look and really helped the new woodwork stand out. I looked around on Yelp and Google and called a few places for quotes. These guys got back to me immediately, said they could come out the same day, and gave me a quote and a few options for repair or replacement. This is incredible-- another local place I called wanted me to wait 2 weeks and pay $175 just for someone to come out and give a quote. They showed up that same afternoon, did great work, charged a reasonable price, and even adjusted two sprinkler heads for me for free. I was impressed. The next morning I noticed some wet ground near where they worked and thought maybe they had accidentally left something leaking. Ben came right back to check it out. But it wasn't related to their work-- it was a different sprinkler problem of mine that I hadn't previously noticed. Ben fixed that problem also and again charged me a really reasonable amount. Consider me doubly impressed. Overall, these guys blew away any expectations I had for sprinkler repair. They were responsive, fast, honest, did great work, and charged a reasonable amount. Just had Taylor Carpets install vinyl plank flooring in my daughters house. There were some areas…read morein the floor that had some gaps. My daughter asked the installer to patch the floors before installing the vinyl laminate flooring. They agreed, but didn't end up doing it. They also didn't install any waterproofing material under the bathroom floors. Last of all, when they removed the baseboard, they made gouges in the baseboard. Would not recommend.
