Since last October, I spent over $1,000.00 for Teed to try fix my furnace. I have had to miss work…read moreand spend days sitting in a cold house with space heaters running. Josh last came to my house on Friday, 1/3 and by Sunday 1/5, I did not have heat. I was told by two separate companies (1/7/25 and 1/8/25) that the problem with my furnace is that there are two cracks in the heat exchanger. One company said they most likely had been there for a long time and that I had carbon monoxide leaking in my house. One company told me Teed should have not continuously charged me for labor until they either fixed the problem or were able to detail why I needed a new furnace. In spite of this, Teed wants me to pay them an additional $546.80 for the work done on 1/3 and has threated to put a lien on my home if I don't pay. They now say that they continuously told me I needed a new furnace, and I didn't listen. This is not true. I worked with Mike years ago and had great service. I mostly worked with Josh this time and this is completely unacceptable.

We have had a leak in our summer cottage for over a year- a leak that would only show up…read moreintermittently. After intense searching and trying different solutions, the slow leak persisted. Finally, last Saturday we concluded that the water was coming from inside the plumbing wall. I called Town and Country this morning, and was given an appointment for tomorrow, which would work, but require that we delay our return home. The person who answered the phone said there was a possibility that a technician might be freed up today. At noon we received a call from "Dave" of Town and Country. He said he was "20 minutes away". Dave came, diagnosed exactly where the leak in our drain piping was ( inside the plumbing wall). He carefully cut away the wood for access, in such a way the it can be easily reconstructed. He reconfigured the PVC drain assembly perfectly, and also rebuilt the under sink drain piping assembly. Work was fast and excellent...and the mysterious leak has finally been fixed! Especially through the winter. I replaced the control module in hopes it would fix, but still no water flow. After countless manual pumps of a spray bottle to the new filter, I called Hometown and Tim answered right away. Corresponding conveniently through text from there on, he came out to do an assessment and provided a very reasonable quote for a faulty valve, which also happens to be out of code and should never have been used for the purpose. He was able to come out again same day, but I was unavailable, so he came again the very next morning and cut and replaced the piping within 10 minutes, showing me what was done and I am thrilled that the water is now flowing seamlessly.
