Hello! I would like to thank Jacob and Auston for the GREAT job that they did to repair my furnace at my lake house in grand junction!! I installed the Goodman furnace 3 years ago, but as for troubleshooting the problem I do not have that kind of knowledge or expertise. They may be a little pricey, but you get what you pay for! The work that they did for my wife and I, what can I say but this..Outstanding!!!!!! This business is a winner on every level. I've been using this company for many years and stumbled upon them because I was seeking the Trane brand. As I often leave my home for extended periods of time, a reliable heating and cooling system is essential. Here are some reasons for my high recommendation of Mattawan Mechanical. First, these folks know what they're doing and even the owner will intervene to assure the highest quality assurance. Having had both a furnace and more recently an air conditioner replaced I can attest to their attention to detail. Secondly, if something malfunctions they're on it. My old air conditioner (not installed by them) was having issues during the hottest days of summer. Their techs were putting in long days and extra time to get people accommodated. Third, they take pride in the community and even leave local business information to promote family businesses like their own. There's a lot to be said about that. Although our experience with Mattawan Mechanical in our former home was good and we made numerous recommendations, we can say that we won't be recommending MMS anytime soon with how "uncomfortable" they made us feel in asking a few questions and the response we received. MMS claim is that the are "The Comfort Crew" however when you are in the service industry, how you can tell someone they are asking too many questions (and to call another company!!) while making a big purchase or decision, especially only after 2-3 questions. This is not high-quality customer service. We regret making those referrals to neighbors, friends and family over the many years and will be looking forward to a new relationship with a local, personable and customer service minded company. read more

Tom and his team of professionals helped me so quickly when my furnace went out. My mom was in the hospital and I was desperate. They came quickly and took care of it perfectly! Great to do business with! Replacing a long ago broken-down furnace after heating with wood for 20 years. A day after a call the estimate was made, and a week later the new much better furnace and A/C were installed. If the new furnace, a Trane of course, heats as well and as as evenly as the new A/C works, we are going to have a comfortable winter ahead. charged me a service fee to "diagnose," a problem that clearly everyone knew had to be replaced. Got a call after the guy left to tell me they were too busy to fix it. now I have to pay someone else the same fee for coming out to look at it.
