The sewer Hook up was literally uphill from Black drain tank Making it extremely hard to drain the tanks. The store was well stocked. But a number of the washing machines were out of order. The other inconvenience was no Wi-Fi with no timeline on when it would be fixed if at all. Many modern campers depend on the Wi-Fi advertised to keep every day things going on. Overall very disappointing for a KOA Because you expect a certain kind of standard while paying the premium price for the name. We would be hard-pressed to stay here again.

Wi-fi that does not work in the rooms; it only works if you are directly in front of the office. No hair dryer provided. No bureau or other horizontal surface in the room to place anything. Low shower water pressure so you feel like you are being misted rather than showered with a temperature that only scores tolerable, certainly not warm. No ice available on site. No phones in the room. No air conditioning, only a rather loud fan that does little to cool the room. Surly front desk attendant who didn't bother to provide any information about the lack of housekeeping or the crappy wi-fi password upon check-in. One star for not having bed bugs, or at least none that were evident. Perhaps they should rename this establishment the "Dead Eagle Motel."

We were told That we had to pay 75%cancellation fee. I was shocked. A fire is a natural disaster not just inclement weather. I tried to go to management but no one would respond to me. We lost $337.00 which was the 75% cancellation fee. Our refund was $114. 00 Out of the original payment of $461.00. I feel violated by this campground. We had to completely change our travel itinerary due to the fires. However, everyone else was so accommodating and understanding to these changes EXCEPT Whispering Pines RV Park. This experience certainly put a damper on our travel plans.

Situated on a nice creek and had a nice walking trail for the dogs. Full services at some sites. Sites are grassy and very nice sized. When we were there the park was half-empty and seemed very peaceful and quiet. There are two bathrooms. The older one was average is condition, the main downside is that the water for a shower is not a temp control handle but one of the push button, no temp control. The temp turned out to ok but the problem was the water only stays on for 4 seconds. I had to lean on the button non-stop to keep water going so that leaves you only one hand to shampoo, wash, etc. I checked out the new shower house which had I believe only one shower. When I tried the push button to see if it stayed on longer than the older shower house the ENTIRE bathroom flooded. Poor slope planning for good drainage when the floor was poured.

It was nice to walk around the property and walk up to the pond. The people who run the place were great! We even had our fridge go out on us and they had an RV repair guy to call. They were very helpful! The location is great! I highly recommended bringing your own food and grilling out since most of the restaurants and bars around are not the best. The campfire meals is such a great experience at this place too. Plan ahead for your trip into Glacier National Park and make sure you have all your driving passes and day passes to where ever your going. Or make plans to go into the park after 3pm when it doesn't require passes. There is so much to do in Glacier that this is a great place to stay for exploring the West Side! We are traveling with another couple in their own RV. We booked a stay at Beargrass lodging and RV…read morein January 2026 for a stay in July of 2026. We picked 2 sites that were next to each other, were big enough for our 35 foot rigs, and had room to sit outside and enjoy each other's company. When we arrived, they had moved us to different sites that were far apart from each other and had hardly enough space for our rigs, and absolutely no space to gather outside. My husband and I had to park our truck 3 ft in front of our door where we would typically sit outside and our friends were smack up against the back of a cabin, so no place to hang out there. We were first told they moved us because someone else couldn't fit into the site they picked. Once we discovered where we were placed and that we hardly fit, we complained and were told that it was the website that "optimized" the grid. Since there were other people in the sites we had originally selected, we asked for a discount as we didn't get what we paid for. The staff person said he would call and talk to the manager. Soon, he relayed the message that it was all our fault because there was a box we were supposed to check if we wanted to guarantee our selected site. We went back to the website and did a whole walkthrough of the booking process until just before you actually click to submit the payment. No check box. So they lied again!

Close to Glacier National Park and nice trails close by for walks. Our pup loved the expansive dog park. We were happy with the laundry facility and free ice was a bonus. Stay here.
