This review is solely for the Dr. that was there on 3/21/2021. I have a wellness plan, so I probably go the La Verne location 90% of the time and the other time to this Rancho location since I live in Rancho. Whoever the Dr was (I didn't get his name) he was HORRIBLE. He was't warm or friendly. Took about ten minutes or more to call me to the back because he was allegedly reviewing my chart. Then when I finally go back there, he literally was done in 30 seconds. I had not used any of my visits for this month, so there should have been a lot of more cracks, and I definitely needed to be adjusted more than whatever nonsense he did. The La Verne location is 1000 times better. No matter who I get at the La Verne location, they crack me a bunch of times and I feel so much better. I go every week, but this month was hectic so this was my first visit for March. Given that I had not been adjusted for a month or so, I should have heard a lot more cracking and I should have felt like I was actually adjusted. Another couple that checked in after me asked if it was the same Dr from last Sunday, and when the receptionist said yes, they made a face. Now I know why. Get rid of him! Waste of a visit. read more

I came here because my regular chiropractor was closed that day and my lower back went out...I was desperate..they got me right in which was great....He cracked my neck which was fine when I came in...that evening I had the most excruciating headache and it's going on 4 days now...I've never had bad headaches or really neck issues until this adjustment....my regular chiro is helping me heal and I've improved some but I'm so angry he did this to my neck! I won't be returning or recommending this business...also they did no warm up before the adjustment cracked me cold...I don't feel he was as experienced a doctor as I am comfortable with. Update: over a month later still suffering from bad headaches and neck pain, going for an MRI next week..this place damaged me. read more

I had a great experience here, just a few minutes ago. I came in after 4 days of pain in my lower back. Dr. Garcia consulted with me and then cracked the Hell out of my back and neck and hips. It was FABULOUS. The receptionist was VERY friendly and so was Dr. Garcia. I did not feel rushed, although my appointment happened quickly. Quick is good. I knock off one star because of something that is somewhat inherent in a business like this: pressure to return often. I won't have any problem returning often, though, as long as they're this good. read more

I recently moved into the Rancho area and needed to find a new chiropractor. I stumbled upon a 1st-visit-for-$19 coupon; at that price, I figured I'd give The Joint a shot. All I can say is that you get for what you pay for. I felt that my initial visit wasn't as thorough as it could have been. I hadn't seen a chiropractor in 2 years, and my consultation and adjustment only lasted 10 minutes. However, I did appreciate that I was given a slip of paper indicating all of my misaligned vertebrae. I've gone back 2 more times and I still have radiating lower back pain (sacrum). The $19 from the initial visit can be credited toward a visitation plan- $49 for 4 visits/mo if you can commit for at least 6 months or $59 for 4 visits/mo for fewer than 6 months. The receptionist didn't tell me that doing the $59 monthly plan isn't possible for only 1 month. You have to fill out a form 30 days prior to cancellation, and it can't be filled out on the same day the plan is made. Also, the plan automatically withdraws the money from your account. She didn't tell me until after I paid. To make matters worse, I asked her on 4 (twice over the phone, twice in person) separate occasions to clarify if I was going to be charged $59 for a second month even though I only wanted to be seen for a month. She wouldn't answer my yes-or-no question with a "yes" or "no." I finally got in contact with another receptionist who was able to clarify everything for me, hence the paragraph above. The poor communication aside, the service is decent and deserving of 3 stars. read more

Let me start by saying that 1. I was checked in, seen and adjusted rather quickly. And 2. The Dr there is good and knows what he's doing. I had a pinched nerve and he was able to help me get relief. With that being said... when I walked in and approached the reception I got a feeling from the second she layed eyes on me that I was bothering her. I was checked in and noticed she was reading. Fine, but I'm a customer, I should come first during business hours...not your novel. Then as I asked a question she motioned for me to sit down and said the dr would be right with me. Okaaaayy. Then she went back to her novel, hand on her forehead, and began to read again. Dr called me in right away. Adjusted me. I went out to make payment. Low and behold... she was sweet as pie taking my money and trying to set me up on a monthly payment subscription for adjustments. Was not my first time here, but she was rather rude on my arrival and I would consider going to another location because of my experience. read more

Not worth the time to wait and be talked down to. Wasted an hour waiting in the lobby to explain my pain just to be told I cant be helped. Wouldnt even mind that much if the doctor wasnt very rude and condescending about it. Didnt even apologize. So basically coming here = wait an hour for no reason. Not happy with this place. They closed upland so I'm stuck driving over here. The receptionist was a complete ditz and even though I was the only person there couldn't manage to check me in in a timely manner. I see the DC. he doesn't ask me anything. Just spends two minutes trying to crack me and that's it. I was going to ask him to do what the other doctors do and decided not be bother. Chiropractor wise, it's good. However front office representative, obnoxious. FSA is a huge game player for this business. However if you sign up for automatic payments, it's really hard to receive a history of payments even if you call ahead of time, they just didn't get it straight and I will have to make additional trips. I'm ok with waiting and returning, but no apology, no thank you no MANNERS, their front office clerk Jackie behaved in a very condescending manner and although it was their error and I need this for FSA, there was no acknowledgement. I had a positive experience at The Joint. As a new patient I went in on a weeknight and was seen by a chiropractor within about 20 minutes. I wish they had massage because I like that before an adjustment. I highly recommend doctor Flores. I will be back again soon to visit The Joint. read more

I've been going here for about a year , and also other Joint locations and it's always a pleasure. The front desk is always nice and so is the chiropractor! They also always know for myself the right spot to crack which is amazing since I've been to a few chiropractors and that's not always the case. I went in today because I have been having neck pain. My doctor went over all of the information with me, and made me feel comfortable throughout my adjustment. It only took 15 minutes, and that was with the consultation because I was new. I ended up signing up for a 6 month program based off of the doctor's recommendation. I am excited to see the results I get with going consistently and would definitely recommend this place. They only do walk ins, so the front desk told me that the slowest time to go in is in the morning, otherwise there might be a little bit of a wait. Like I said, the adjustment is very quick, so the wait doesn't seem like it could be long. read more

I really like this concept however the recent changes are disappointing. I went in for service and neither Dr. Garcia or Dr. Tolbert were available. As I walked back I was greeted by a new doctor female. Due to the size of my breast and hers I stopped her after 2 try's of me not being adjusted. When I said something she replied "well at least you got a little?"..No I didn't get any relief and was quite sore and irritated in the meantime. I really wish I was notified in the beginning, however after complaining I was credited my visit. I now have to find another place to get serviced. read more

I have been coming here for more than 2 years now. Dr Garcia and dr Bowen are true professionals. I have been in the medical field for 14 years and I can relate to the stress emotionally and physically these guys go through day after day, yet they are always very professional and have great bedside manners. Although adjustments are quick it gets me feeling fresh days after. As a matter of fact, I chose to stay with my membership here and cancel my Disneyland membership because this benefits me more. For those complaints it's just about the money, it's not. The joint is a corporation and I'm pretty sure these Drs do not collect on commission just like any other medical practice. read more

I have been a patient for a year now. I started in the Eastvale location and now a have started attending the one in Rancho Cucamonga. All of the 3 Doctors I've had adjustment me have been good. My routine in chiropractic care has always been a big ordeal in the last several years and for the last year now I do not feel defeated with my back problems. I am very impressed with the membership. I attended Rancho Cucamonga once because I was running errands in the area and signed up for an eight visit plan. I am from Orange County and continued to do my compliance visits in the city of Orange. About three months after visiting Rancho I got charged $89 for a health plan they said I signed. However I don't remember ever signing up for an additional plan and when I called them they would not reimburse me my money, I had to file a claim with my credit card because this was absurd. The receptionist was a male and he had me sign some thing I was unaware I was signing and that should be a really big red flag. I live within 50 miles away from the location which comes to show I did not intend to continue going to the joint in Rancho or have any affiliation with a contract. Absolute terrible customer service. The folks in Orange are super polite they even sent me a video to help me do exercises at home. Those are folks who truly want to see their customers happy. read more

Every member of the staff is courteous and knowledgeable. The location has a spa-like feel, and I rarely have to wait for more than a couple of minutes before seeing the chiropractor. Dr. Garcia is amazing. He very quickly identified one of the contributing factors for my intense headaches and adjusted me accordingly. Prior to visiting the Joint this past week, I was flat on my back for four days with excruciating pain. I thought I would likely miss out on celebrating my birthday, but popped in for a quick treatment and WALA!! Migraine gone! Thank you so much doctor! I have been treated by other chiropractors throughout the years and I can say unequivocally that he is one of the best. I will continue to follow up each week with further adjustments. I went there once and they talked me into the monthly plan which I did. By my 2nd visit the chiropractor advised me that I should go to the sports recovery place in Fontana since my back is at a point where they could not fix. For the last 2 months I have tried to go in and cancel my membership only to have the person say it is out of his pay grade and I have to wait until someone else is there to process this but yet they keep charging me the monthly service charge. This is out of hand and I want to cancel this, and I now know why they make you sign a paper that you must do this in person so that they can continue to charge you month after month. I really hope management sees this complaint so that they can cancel my account and refund me. Again, their chiropractor referred me to someone else by my second visit and we are going on 2 months of my being charged which I shouldn't have. PLEASE CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP!!!!!! read more

More concerned about getting off in time versus helping a person in need!! For the past 4-5 days I would wake up with severe pain in the back of my neck. So on 3/19 I called of work to relax and possibly get to the bottom of my issue by visiting a chiropractor. After taking to yelp to find a place to go, I realized that all of the Chiropractic offices are closed on Sunday except one.....The Joint! Perfect! I immediately felt excited and comfortable because The Joint is a corporate business. Around 4pm I walked through the door excited and greeted the clerk with a "hello, I'm new and I need help!" The clerk didn't return the excitement rather immediately hit me with bad news. Apparently because I was a new customer I wouldn't be able to be seen. She said I had to file some paperwork (understandable) and that they may run out of time. I'm thinking, "what do you mean run out of time? Isn't this a corporate place?" So I told the lady my story about how I was in pain, I called off work, and that The Joint is the only place open on Sunday. So she went to the back to ask if an exception can be made. Out comes the doctor. He told me that the cutoff time for new patients was 3:45 (it was 4:05pm) and that they could only take existing customers within the last hour. So I asked "are there any existing customers waiting?" He said no. So I explained my story to him and he proceeded to give me all the policy mumbo jumbo and how if he made an exception for me, he'd have to do it for everyone else. (I get all of that but what happened next really pissed me off). Realizing where this was going I stood up, opened my heart, looked him eye to eye and said, "I understand your policy sir, but as a human being I'm telling you that I am in pain!! You folks are the only place open today. Person to person, will you help me? Yes or no?" HE TOLD ME NO! Can you believe that!! How could you hide behind your policy and refuse to help when you're in the business of helping people?!? I broke down and asked for help and these people turned me away. Unbelievable!! I understand places have policies, but cmon. I work for a company where if a customer walks in 1 minute before closing, we have to help them regardless of how long it takes!! By the way, THE JOINT, you should have these "New Patient cutoff times" posted somewhere!!! I will be going to a higher rated privately owned place tomorrow thank you very much!! read more

I was still having pain in my lower back and decided to come here since the location is closer to home. Since the membership allows you to get adjusted at different locations. Was not disappointed.. Rosie is amazing.. despite my pain, she was able to relieve the stress on my back. And I was able to walk upright on my way out. I didn't get the receptionist name but she is awesome and personable. Have been having severe neck and shoulder pain for several days now and was told about this place. Checked out their website and saw no appointment was necessary and they close at 7pm. I arrived at 6:00pm and was asked if it was my first time there, I said yes and was told told "oh sorry, we take our last appointment at 5:30pm". That would have been helpful information that should also be shared on their website to not waste people's time in taking an unnecessary trip. I wasn't offered to schedule an appointment for the following day or any other information, just simply turned away. Bad first impression, will not return here. read more
