Fantastic customer service and great food! We made a reservation online but when we got to the restaurant last night there was no record of it. The floor manager Kate offered us a table near the bar in a congested area. We declined and asked if there was a table in the dining room. She suggested that we have a seat at the bar because a table might becoming available soon. We ordered drinks and very quickly Kate came and a table in the dining room was available. Ada was our very attentive server! We enjoyed a lovely meal on our date night! When our bill came there were no drinks on it. We asked our server for a new bill and she said that Kate had taken care of the drinks. Thank you JoJos for being such a customer friendly local restaurant!! Thank you Kate and Ada! read more

Recently visited. My father and I arrived at approximately 4:20 on a Wednesday. Two women were seated at the bar. The rude bartender greeted us with an attitude. She wanted to know if we had reservations. There was no one in the place. She told us to go wait over near some table. A waitress greeted us , by taking us to the smallest table over near a wall. The table wouldn't be able to seat more than one person. I asked her about a nearby booth. She told me it was reserved. The waitress was horrible. The food was even worse. Decided to try the Jojo burger. It was the worst burger ever. This place is no better than the closed predecessor. Do yourself a favor and try anywhere else. This place is a joke. read more

Food and service was great! Our server was Anna and she was very attentive. There were 3 of us and we share 3 appetizers and a wild mushroom pizza. There was more than enough for us and the food was great. The acoustics were very accommodating to being able to converse quietly and hear each other. We're eager to go again! read more

Absolutely phenomenal! Wonderful service at the bar for cocktails and a light meal. ( Have reservations for a sit down dinner Friday. I am sure that it will not disappoint.) I was at JoJo's last week. I really enjoy the food--it deserves 5 stars! HOWEVER. I was seated at the bar this visit, with a clear view into the kitchen. I was absolutely HORRIFIED to be able to see into the kitchen and see only 1 or 2 kitchen staff wearing their mask properly. All of the masks were placed as chin guards. These people are making our food. They are breaking protocol. I go out to dinner assuming it is safe, and that they are following the mandates in place that keep us safe. I have made immense sacrifices during this pandemic, as have most people. To see this happening at an otherwise delicious and enjoyable restaurant is very disturbing. Do better. read more

Nice food, beer and wine offerings and pleasant staff. Given the area has high transmission levels of COVID, my family and many friends don't dine indoors so I was happy to dine in their outdoor area in September and was told the outdoor seating area would be open as long as people were interested. I was disappointed when returning to dine in October and outdoor seating was done for the season despite the 55+ degree day. Had to dine elsewhere which is a shame because my party likes to spend and tip relatively generously. read more

Really horrible... my martini was warm, the short rib was inedible, the pork chop was marginally good and it was incredibly noisy.

Food was not good. My daughter in law and I ordered mushroom risotto and it was bad. Waitress was not friendly either and very unprofessional. I do not recommend this place read more

Seriously limited food menu. Its a Bar first and a distant second place Bistro. The décor is bland and uncomfortable seating. Prices were high but expected. I did enjoy the calamari, but the blackened red snapper was tiny and each bite loaded with fish bones. The staff was friendly. read more

We haven't been here since it was Prime. My wife picked this place. I read ratings on this web site and would never have picked this place. But I was pleasantly surprised. Two had a JoJo burger. The burger and roll were good size (1/2 lb?) and very good. They came with gruyere cheese, candied bacon and fries or a green salad for $15. The others in our party had Cioppino (fish soup). The soup had mussels, shrimp and scallops $29. Also included bread and butter. The bread was very good. A large draft Michelob Ultra $5.25 and Standing Stone Dry Riesling $9. Our draft beer was flat and promptly replaced. The waiter and staff were excellent. All things considered I'd rate this restaurant 4.5/5. We will definitely return. read more

When we first walked in we immediately loved the atmosphere. We were disappointed when the food didn't match. We felt the buratta appetizer was under seasoned and bland, the octopus was over cooked and chewy and the pizza had little flavor and not enough sauce. The salad and dessert we had were very tasty though and the presentation was great. We were really rooting to love this place but we were very underwhelmed by the food. I hope this was just a fluke incident and we may give it another chance in the future. read more

Jojo in Webster is one of my favorite restaurants. Their food and customer service is more than 5 stars. My boyfriend and I stopped in on Friday night. We didn't have a reservation so the wait was going to be a while. Carol, the hostess, took our to go order. When I asked if we could wait in the bar and get a drink, she hesitated because there were quite a few people in the bar. Carol, being an excellent hostess, made the extra effort to find us an out of the way place to wait with our drinks. She really made the disappointment of not getting seated disappear. Our to go food was excellent too. Jojo is a fantastic addition to Main Street in Webster. read more

Cup and Char pepperoni? Twice now ordered to go and got pizza I could've gotten from gas station ( with regular pepperoni- we order from here BECAUSE OF THE pepperoni) I get the logistics with COVID, that's why we try and order out and support local businesses. Got there earlier than estimated 'ready' time- thin crust pizza sitting on the table... already cold by the time I walked to the car. At least Salvatores keeps it on top of the oven so it's warm. It will be awhile before we give it another go. Pittsford store is not like this. read more

We love this place! Go early as the bar area to eat gets full! Food and service is great!

I want to give it a better mark but cannot. The venue is stark with little decor or ambiance. The sound level was screaming to converse level. Our server was attentive but overall service was incredibly slow. I took 15 minutes to get drinks after ordering them. (We had 4 in our party). Food service was even slower and the orders were confused. Overall food quality was mediocre at best. Pizzas were good but sloppily assembled. The redfish wasn't very good and the burger was tiny. I'd probably just go somewhere else. We are not going back any time soon. read more

Went to dinner here a month ago. Food, service and ambiance were terrific. My husband and I both took home leftovers ( he had steak frites ) and I had the blue cheese wedge and mussels . I ate the mussels and had 2 more meals with the wedge. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. I hope residents of Webster, Penfield, Ontario and all of eastern Monroe County support this place. It's a jewel on the heart of Webster. read more

My wife and I tried jojo for the 2nd time last evening. We were hoping for improvement compared to our 1st visit about one month ago. The atmosphere is OK. The service was fairly good. My wife had the mushroom risotto last time and hated it. I tried the leftovers and didn't like it either. We had never before had risotto we didn't like. This time I had the seafood soup for $29 that was an extremely small portion but tasted good. My wife had the salmon and was disappointed by the taste and portion size. We really want to like this place as Webster needs a place like this. If we go back I'll likely just get the burger or pizza. My wife says we are done going there so that is usually the end of it. read more

Came in at 430 on a Wednesday, immediately got bar seating. Bartender was very friendly. I ordered the white wine flight which was delicious, the bartender talked me through all the wines which was great. For food we ordered the grilled shrimp which was great, we got 5 big sized shrimp it was spicy but I enjoyed it. We also got the burrta cheese which was amazing. Both came with bread from the Pittsford bakery. I also got the bees knees cocktail which I could have drank all day! The cheesecake for dessert was phenomenal! A huge slice covered in caramel. Atmosphere was great, they had on a few TVs showing Espn which is nice because I like sports but also seems like a great date night place! Can't wait to go back and try a wood fired pizza! read more

I really like the atmosphere here, except the cold room in the back. We have been here twice now. The first time for happy hour, second time for dinner. For happy hour we had chips with hummus and pizza. The pizza was very good as was the homemade chips. The hummus had so much garlic it wasn't edible. Dinner wasn't cheap. Our server was great. Bread was cold. My entree was $26, mashed sweet potatoes were good, fish and spinach was bland. My husband enjoyed his burger and fries. Even the fries had garlic on them. I'll never understand why some restaurants feel the need to smother everything in garlic. A good chef knows how to add flavor without dousing food in garlic. Desert was chocolate lava cake that I didn't finish, it wasn't very good. I really wanted to love this place as we don't have very many local restaurants that aren't chains. Will probably give it one more try. read more

Friday night, 10/23/21. Extremely impatient waitress, I think her name was Emily. Manager was clearly annoyed and actually a bit argumentative when we pointed out a $5 mistake made on our drink bill. Mgr. claimed they did not have an $11, 9-oz Chardonnay on the menu and I asked her to check the menu because that's what I had ordered it off of and was subsequently charged $16. Mgr., reluctantly checked the menu at my request, came back to our table realizing she had mis-spoken and asked "So what do you want me to do about it?', with no apology. I asked her to adjust the bill by $5, which she agreed to do, but we should not have been made to feel the way we did when it was HER mistake. She did eventually say "sorry" after adjusting the bill. The food was good. As we were getting up to leave the aforementioned impatient waitress pointed to a covid mask on the floor and said "One of you dropped your mask". When told it wasn't ours, she said "Well I was just telling you". There was no need for the condescending attitude. I understand that the price of everything is going up, but would add that this place seems over priced, which I can deal with, but not with the "attitudes" we got. read more
