First of all, I am a HUGE picture guru, I LOVE having family pictures done... Let's just say this…read morewas THE WORST and MOST DISAPPOINTING photography session I have EVER had. I purchased a service for her through Groupon, checked up on her webpage and facebook page, didn't seem to see any negative reviews, and we needed a photographer in that area, so I thought her deal sounded great. (A roughly one hour session at a local park for $79, outfit changes if we wanted, and I would receive a copy of all raw images, from which she would edit five...) The initial apt set up was ok, but from then on, communication was a HASSLE. I had to call HER the day of our apt to confirm the appointment... It was raining on and off that day, so we decided to speak at 2 in the afternoon to decide if we were able to do the photos or not... I didn't hear from her, tried to call her a couple of times and heard nothing back... Until 4:15, when she called and said I'll be at the park in 15 mintues... We had expressed that we were staying 30 minutes from the park, and she gave us NO time to be ready... When we reached the park, she wasn't there... She went to THE WRONG PARK, even though I had confirmed the park with her... The entire photo session she was MUCH more concerned with her camera getting wet (mind you it didn't rain the entire time), then she was about capturing our family moments... Which shows in the pictures, because lets be honest, she missed 98% of the things a photographer would capture... She claims on her groupons to win awards for child photography... Not ONE good picture of my toddler, whose "essence" I can capture on my smartphone. I cried when I saw the pictures, they were just sad... The experience was horrible, my husband and I were so stressed out by her by the time we got to the right place that we nearly canceled... My assumption is she isn't really interested in doing a good job for groupons because people aren't paying full price... She is constantly posting "sneak peaks" and session photos on her facebook, and I sat and waited for ours to pop up and they never did- probably because they were so sub-par... Must I also mention that we are military from out of town and my husband doesn't have many chances to see his son, so these pictures were meant to be a special way for them to both remember each other... Which she failed to do for us as a family and for my husband and son... I find her actions to be completely disrespectful on a personal level, as well as blatant disrespect and disregard for military personnel... On another note, we had brought cupcakes with us as a cute little prop and reward for the toddler who had done a great job dealing with all of her nonsense... She looked at me and said "I don't get your vision for this." Are we serious? I have to explain to an artist that i want cute pictures of my husband and his son eating cupcakes together (which is one of their favorite things) and you don't get an artistic vision for this? This also shows in the photos, they aren't good, didn't capture the moment, and were a pure disappointment... Isn't photography about being artistic??? She also brought her husband and daughter with her, which I have no problem with, but halfway through the photo session, they walked right through our group and distracted our toddler- to me, this is rude. I did receive the RAW images from her, but when I told her which images I would like her to edit, she wouldn't respond... A month later I contacted groupon, who was VERY quick to give my money back... I still haven't heard from her... We've done our son's first bday cake smash and a mini Christmas session with Stephanie and were…read moreextremely pleased, but watching the care and dedication she brought to my daughter's in-studio complete newborn session was beyond next level. She thoughtfully prepared props and wraps to compliment the photos of my son's newborn pix that I'd shown her (taken elsewhere before we discovered Little Love Stories), in addition to colors and props of my choosing. My daughter was meticulously handled and posed with the utmost care. When it came to the sibling and family shots, my 2 year old son wanted no part of it. Stephanie was extremely patient and carried on with other photos of our newborn, allowing us the time to calm him down. He especially loved seeing the chickens in the back yard!! Those initial weeks after a newborn end up being such a blur, especially with older children to chase after. Stephanie was such a calming presence to this zombie mom, and I have no doubt she shot some amazing photos to keep these memories alive and vivid for years to come!!

Stephanie was quick to respond, thorough, and exuded confidence and charisma (much needed with our toddler!). We were BLOWN away by the communication and support we received leading up to our session, and loved that we were immediately at ease during our session shoot. Stephanie introduced herself to our toddler and they immediately began to bond, which made the entire hour together fly by. She took charge but had so much flexibility, making sure to ask questions to make sure we got all the combinations of people we wanted, and caught a few candid moments in between as well. With only a few weeks turnaround time, we are anxiously awaiting to see the result and already know this experience will have us lining up even earlier next time for another session with her!
