I expressed some conncern when I learned about a Manger leaving. I talked to her about some concerns of personal growth for our son and she had disregarded all of it as well you want this then you have to pay. Last week I was trying to work with the on site manager about maybe trying to have our son work with a teacher who can flip flop weeks through the month to teach piano and drums. As other students have been able to do this. Next thing I get is an email - we no longer want your business basically because they didn't like constructive criticism of suggestions from a loyal paying customer wanting to grow their child's musical talents. When I called the office the manager tried telling me its because I yelled at teachers on multiple occasions. Lie! I have gone in only speaking with the manager and with kindness but expressed some frustration. I was told she will get back to me as things are changing around here. So my 12 yr old son who was exited to start a new band, instead I had to be tell him that the school of rock terminated our business! Wow terminated a customer because they don't want to provide accommodations! Last time I checked a stong business goes above beyond to accommodate a customer or to talk about options to assist. Nope not the Geneva nor Schaumburg location. I guess getting too rich too fast to care about word of mouth goes far! Becareful customers!

We've seen both kids progress in terms of their musical ability, but it's also really helped their overall confidence and desire to learn more. Lastly, the focus on performance is teaching them accountability to their band mates. Overall, a great experience and a great team in the Geneva location!

I used the website Rate Your Professor to choose my classes. It was spot on for the most part, although my basic biology class was a lie. People said that class and professor were super easy but it wasn't. The professor wasn't as nice and helpful as people made her out to be. My other professors were very accurate in the reviews. Those professors actually cared and assisted you in learning the material better. The cafeteria was spacious and the food was very decent. Prices were reasonable for poor college students. The labs were great quality. I learned a lot during my anatomy and physiology 1 and 2. They provided models, online programs, and real cadavers to help us succeed in our learning. Parking was adequate. It wasn't a problem finding someplace to park except for this one area. That area got packed real quick so you had to walk a ways to get to the building.

During Communion at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, my daughter approached the priest, bowed…read moreand had one hand on top of the other to receive the Eucharist. Instead of offering guidance, he repeatedly told her to "do it properly," but never explained what he wanted her to change. He then began questioning her religion, asking whether she was Catholic or Christian. After she responded that she is Catholic, he said, "then do it properly" she was unsure what he wanted her to do differently, then he said again, "Are you sure you're Catholic?" Again she replied yes, I am Catholic. Shortly before this interaction, the priest had taken the Eucharist away from a young man who had said he was Christian. The priest began scolding him while the young man respectfully was nodding that he understood. The situation was uncomfortable to witness and felt unnecessarily harsh. It seemed like a missed opportunity for a compassionate conversation about the Catholic faith, especially since the young man was attending Mass and clearly showing interest. Although my daughter ultimately received Communion, the interaction was prolonged and uncomfortable. She was not given clear instruction only public questioning about her faith. My daughter approached respectfully and reverently. Being questioned in that way, in front of others, left her embarrassed and shaken. She was crying when we got home, which was especially heartbreaking because she was the one who had asked to go to Mass that day. Reverence for the Eucharist is important. However pastoral guidance should reflect clarity, dignity, and compassion. Interactions like this can leave a lasting impression on young people who are trying to grow in their faith. I hope this feedback encourages more compassionate and thoughtful handling of similar situations in the future.

They notified us during his last drive that they misplaced all of his paperwork. We spent several days putting the documents together a second time. After waiting a few weeks for the driving school to get their paperwork filed properly we went to the DMV for his license - only to find out Drive Home Safe had not sent a letter of completion to the Secretary of States office. Seriously?! How much time does to take to put a student's file in order and follow through? Have they not heard of a checklist?? I'm tired of saying to my disappointed son ... We'll try again in a few weeks. That being said, according to my son, one or two driving instructors were funny, and the class was tolerable not too boring.
