This was my first time here but from someone I know who was here before, they must have it decorated for fall and the menu has different seasonal options to go along with that. The building itself is stunning, it feels like a carousel that aspired to be a martini bar. There are gorgeous anchor decor pieces like a big gold chariot when you walk in, massive gold and crystal chandeliers, all of which are otherwise accompanied by all white and crown molded elegance. Yeah, this is a birthday / date night / girls night drink vibe for sure! Prices are what you would expect for both a martini / specialty cake place as well as being on Disney property. Cocktails ranged from $19 to $25 and beers were $12, though I think they may have all been canned if I'm not mistaken. Drinks we ordered, both 5 star: Spiced Elderflower Pear - this was so good, i would definitely order it again, it's giving a really nice fall cozy cocktail vibe because of the cinnamon and cider, with gold glitter shimmer atop the foam it's also pretty! Orange Blossom Martini - a peachy / citrusy little number topped with a cream to match and orange zest. one of the pricier martinis, understandably, but if you're a citrus fan this is definitely amazing! This was my second visit to The Cake Bake shop this year, and the food quality was somewhat poorer than my first experience in June 2026. I ordered the bowl of gumbo same as last time, but this time instead of the "add lump crab" option offered in June, the only add-on option was to add shrimp for $12. The shrimp were cold and layered on top of the soup, and didn't add as much to the dish as the crab offered previously. The gumbo was noticeably less spicy this time, and the accompanying "toasted baguette" slices were the consistency of croutons. The appetizer/side of truffle French fries arrived as a generous yet barely warm portion. Each of the 3 desserts we ordered were great: Celebration Cake, Champagne Raspberry Cake, and the Apple Pie. Our table was impressed with the amount of thinly sliced apples stuffed into the tall slice of pie. Yes, the cake slices are still notoriously large and expensive. At $22 per large slice a single portion equals 2 slices of cake that would be priced around $12 each, so your dessert math may make this price point a value if you intend to share. Service was fun and friendly. The biggest qualm on this visit: The hostess outside in the front of the restaurant was passive-aggressive in the most chipper way of being unhelpful upon my arrival. The vibe here is purely magical and opulent, with crystal chandeliers and a fairytale feel from the second you walk in. The portions are massive across the board. The salads come out huge and super fresh, but the real star is the cake. Each slice is gigantic and remarkably moist--the chocolate and Millionaire cakes are unbelievable. I really did enjoy the New Orleans soup - don't skip on that. The crust was delicious, but the filling was pretty flavorless. Now for the cake... I honestly expected it to be just okay because of all the hype, but it completely exceeded my expectations. We just dined in at Cake Bake Shop around 10pm tonight and had the most amazing experience ever. This place was completely booked out but we were lucky enough to snag this last minute reservation. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and had the best vibes. The best part about our experience here was our server. He was awesome and truly is what we love about being at Disney. We unfortunately did not catch his name but was one of the few servers still there right before closing. On top of that, the food is delicious! The star of the show was the velvet chicken noodle soup. It had so much flavor and had the same texture as clam chowder but with chicken bits. The onion soup also had so much flavor and so cheesy! The angel hair pasta was good for the price and the portion was huge but could have had a little more flavor. The steak was also cooked to a perfect medium rare. The drinks here were also great. We ordered the cosmo and espresso martini which tasted pretty strong. The raspberry champagne cake was a must for us. It was so moist and tasted so fresh. They've got a nice enough $22 sharable slice of cake ...but our experience at the quick-service bakery wasn't exactly all pixie dust and fairy like. There's some limited patio seating (which isn't exactly becoming of a place for eating ridiculously expensive cake) and the straws aren't long enough for the drinks once the ice doesn't prop them up. Just sayin'. Butt for me, though, whatever was supposed to be special about this place, this experience, was lost with buggery hospitality, stoopid house rules/queue mechanics, and managerial apathy. So, I was here filling someone else's prescription for happiness and thought a beer would help dissolve my sticker shock but that only made things worse. You see, they basically card you twice, once at the point you order and again at the point of sale. It's sort of unusual to be carded in Florida anyway and I've never been carded twice within a few seconds of each other by two different employees standing a few feet apart from one another. It's not like I'm 20 something, I haven't been carded in forever. Anyway, it wasn't so much the inconveniece or how unusual it was, but it was like they were @#$%ing with me by the way they asked. Like they've got some Simon Says Squid Games thing going on. And because I half-heartedly balked about it in a teasing way because I didn't understand the kind of thing that was going on around me, it became awkward for them and so I changed my mind. Anyway, it became a whole thing and the manager had to get involved holding up the line just to take it off the check ...even though I hadn't yet paid for or received said beer. I attended for lunch and I must say the avocado stack was to die for! I don't think they gave enough bread for this dish (so we had to order more - an additional $6). When my fries came they were super salty, so we sent them back and they fixed it perfectly. The burger was delicious but the chicken salad croissant was just okay. I was told it was one of the most known items on the menu so I was a bit displeased to that my bread wasn't that fresh at 1130 am.. I didn't send that item back as I felt bad complaining again, however the service and cake experience really made up for the food. My view out the wonderful large window was green and lush landscaping. That added to how relaxing my experience was. I also liked the table lamps. Classy and cozy. We came here while staying at the Swan, and it's definitely not the best place for toddlers. The place is beautiful and very regal, with very intricate designs / use of porcelain for basically everything. Our server was fantastic, but his support teammate was definitely frustrated by the vibe our tired kiddos had during the dinner (which was at 5 PM and the restaurant wasn't too full). Food was generally good / had a kids menu, and the dessert was very heavy, but delicious. I've been here twice now and I absolutely love this place. I will say it's not the easiest place to get a reservation, but if you can snag one it as well worth it. I know the number one complaint about this place is gonna be the price. It is on the expensive side for sure, but in my opinion, it is worth it. The cake bake shop is located on the boardwalk of Disney's Boardwalk resort. The first time we came here we were staying at the resort. We walked by and asked if we could get into lunch and they quoted us about a half hour and they were able to seat us. The interior of this restaurant is stunning. Everything is white with splashes of pink and lots of crystals. It is very girly. On our first visit, my husband ordered the salmon and I ordered the quiche. My son absolutely loves potato soup and it was the soup of the day so that is what he chose. My husband, very much enjoyed his salmon. I thought the quiche was incredible and unlike any quiche I've ever had before. It was very fluffy. My son loved the potato soup so much that we had to order him a second bowl. My whole family had water to drink because it was almost $10 for a glass of iced tea. A friend of mine recently attended a bridal shower in the private room at this restaurant, which looks just beautiful. They participated in the afternoon tea and said it was beautiful and wonderful. So when my husband asked, I told him I would like to go to tea for my birthday this year. We made reservations a couple months out. They went over the menu with my husband, and we were able to make some substitutions in advance which was really nice. The tea sandwiches included a tuna salad, egg salad, chicken, salad, and cucumber. I do not eat tuna, salad or cucumber and so they happily swapped out those sandwiches with the kids, ham and cheese and turkey and cheese. When we arrived, the table was decorated with lots of sparkles and a special card in my seat for my birthday and a special note for my birthday as well. Our server, Joe was excellent and walked us through the tea service. You could choose a tea or two or three, but I chose the tea showcase where I was able to sample all the teas. The tea service started with a blueberry scone. It was huge and very buttery. I love a scone with clotted cream, but the scone was so rich it almost didn't need the clotted cream. Our next course was a very small cup of tomato soup with a Parmesan cracker that looked like a cookie. This was also very good and part paired well with the tea. Finally, they brought out the three tower tea service. This included the tea sandwiches plus lots of sweets. Our sweets included an everything bar, a raspberry crumble bar, a lemon bar, red velvet cake, macaroons, and chocolate truffles. It was so much food! I think we brought four to go boxes home. If i was a coffee shop this would be me! The boardwalk area is so beautiful right on the little manmade lake, and it is walking distance to epcot! When you walk in , you feel like you entered a princess fairytale. Everything from the cookies, to the egg sandwiches to the coffee has glitter ! Finally had a chance to try out The Cake Bake Shop Restaurant for the first time after several visits to Orlando since their opening. My family and I had a Sunday brunch reservation. The restaurant and cake shop are adjacent to each other with two separate, roped-off entrances. They are located on Disney's Boardwalk, so as guests staying at that property, it was an easy walk and place to stop and eat before starting our day at Epcot. In-person service from the entrance to our wait staff was excellent. The ambiance and overall aesthetic of the restaurant is also beautiful. Honestly, a perfectly themed brunch spot. I wasn't sure what to expect, especially based on the mixed reviews, but we had a positive first experience. The brunch menu offered several choices. Our family ended up ordering the: - Gwendolyn's Signature Chicken & Andouille Gumbo - Croque Madame with Truffle Pomme Frittes - Choose two: Chicken Salade Croissant and Lemon Caesar Salade Portion sizes were perfect for hunger level and the preparation and taste of all the dishes were on point. Price was on the higher side, although it was to be expected with it being Gwendolyn Roger's restaurant and the location falling on Disney property. My dish was the Croque Madame and I loved it. Would highly recommend. We did share two cake slices at the table because, if we're coming to The Cake Bake Shop, you just do it. Cake slices are also super expensive, but we loved them. We ended up trying the Lemon Blueberry Cake and the Millionaire Cake. The slices were huge and looked perfect. Each sprinkled with edible shimmer, the cakes tasted as heavenly as they looked. After the big brunch meal, we ended up taking more than half of each slice back to the hotel to enjoy later. Overall, The Cake Bake Shop Restaurant made a strong first impression for us. I can't confidently say it would be a must stop visit each time we're at WDW, but we would definitely stop by again if we were staying at one of those Epcot Resorts on Crescent Lake or to celebrate a special occasion. The inside and outside are both decorated adorably. The pinks, glitter, and flowers are every girly girls dream. Our waitress was great and very helpful when we didn't know what to order. For an appetizer, we enjoyed the avocado dish. I enjoyed chicken piccata for my meal. Others had the salmon, crab cakes, and chicken tenders. Everyone thought the food was great. The only downfall is the pricing. $25 for basic chicken tenders is a bit high and one of the girls paid $40 for a cocktail. The atmosphere was amazing and the waiter was very good. The hosts/hostess could use some fine tuning as they seemed a little unfriendly. I have been here twice and the food is good. The deserts are great but I left feeling like I wanted something more from a price versus experience perspective. It is a fine dining restaurant but it feels forced, like it is trying to live up to an expectation, not walking into who they say they are. When you arrive even with a reservation they leave you out in the 100 degree weather with no shaded area or other reprieve from the heat. The hostesses sort look at you like you are trying to get into a high end night club and they are the gatekeepers. The restaurant itself is beautiful and can accommodate up to six diners easily. It is most ideal for groups of six or less. It would be a great date night spot or anniversary celebration place for a couple. I had a large group with me so we all ordered different things. The crab cake meal was delicious, the truffle fries were great, the shrimp po boys were okay. The home run here for my group was the desserts. They do this very well and it is tasty without being overly sweet. Tonight I had the pleasure of dining with 11 other ladies to celebrate a birthday. Our party was half kids and half adults, and Dmitry was our server. He was absolutely wonderful! He managed 6 different checks, all of our orders - gently helping with recommendations when asked. He was sweet and personable, all while being respectful of our time together as diners. What really stood out to me - my young daughter was seated on the other end of the table from me - he noticed she wasn't eating her meal and came to me to ask if he could put something else in for her, assuring it would come out quickly (totally not needed - she was just too wound up to eat). This visit we got lunch and it was life changing! This is definitely one of the best lunch experiences I've had on property. The gumbo was phenomenal. I will be dreaming of it until our next trip! OK, so ended up going back here! We had an awesome time all because of our waitress, Camila! She was absolutely beyond five stars! I did take one star off because of the unpleasant host and us having to wait 15 minutes past our reservation time. She was absolutely wonderful with the children, and our food was delicious! Made a reservation and checked in, then waited about 10 min before we were seated; the place was fairly empty when we were there. But let's talk decor.....it's a bit overwhelming. It might be some peep's cup of tea, but it was a bit too much for me; a lot of blinding white with pink for colour, and pops of gold. It just seemed overwhelmingly blinding to me. Service was friendly, but didn't feel genuine. Also, things were a tad slower than we like, with all of us feeling like things could have been sped up a bit. I'll fully admit, it wasn't my thing, mostly because of the frosting. It was just too much. I did grab a coconut cream pie and thay was delicious. I liked that it was in a cup. Made it easier to eat and could save some for later a little better. As with everything else at Disney, the prices are ridiculous. Unsafe, hostile and heartbreaking experience on my daughters birthday at this restaurant where we had reservations, checked in the reservation with a credit card on file. This establishment will allow minors to use the bathroom and Kaley refused I accompany my minor daughter to the bathroom. This place is unsafe, god only know why they want a young minor child to use the bathroom alone. Her answer to me was I did not realize she was a child,She looked like an adult. This worker quickly tried to close the gold ribbon on me when I tried to walk in with my minor 14 yr old. What a power trip over the bathroom rule "one person at a time" when we were about 5 mins away from all the ladies in our party going to the bathroom together. The Cake Bake Shop and its food has an extravagant exterior but a mediocre and overpriced experience at its core. We had to wait about 15 minutes beyond our original reservation time to be seated, and after sitting down we're waiting about 6-7 minutes before we were first greeted by our server. She gave a wonderful overview of the menu and some of her favorite drink selections, but my wife and I were just opting for water this particular evening. Unfortunately we did not see a refill on our drinks until we were literally paying for our meal. I had the Shrimp Po Boy and upgraded the fries to include the Truffle. My wife had the grilled salmon sandwich and we each shared bites of each. The Grilled Salmon sandwich was bar far the stand out, with a perfectly cooked fish and perfectly paired basil sauce. The Truffle fries from my Shrimp Po Boy were delicious as well, as the Aioli was wonderful to have on the side. I do wish that more Parmesan had been included, as it was very sparingly adorned on the dish. The Arugula salad paired with the Salmon sandwich was lacking in ingredients and flavor. The dressing was tangy but the flavor could best be described as "plain". My Shrimp Po Boy was best compared to something you'd find at a local dive bar. It was lacking in flavor until I dumped hot sauce on the bread and one half had only four measly shrimp on it. For $36 I was floored by the lack of protein included! I was really hoping the famous cake would be our redemption story. Sadly the Millionaire Cake we ordered was dry and absolutely not worth the $22 for the slice. The filling and caramel in between redeemed the flavors between bites, but I've truly had far better cakes at Publix and Costco for a fraction of cost. It was a beautiful restaurant inside with gorgeous lights and chandeliers inside the dining area and a wonderful boardwalk ambience outside, but I have a feeling this will be a one and done visit. read more

Phenomenal. Totally lives up to the hype. Food - 10/10 I had the crab cake Benedict. As a Maryland native, I have high standards for crab cakes. This one lived up to my standards easily. I had a pot of earl grey tea with oat milk as my creamer. They steam the milk so it doesn't cool the tea too much... a very nice touch. Service - 10/10 I sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive. Everything came out quickly and I was checked on frequently (but not too frequently). Ambiance - 10/10 Look at the photos. It's cozy and fun and casually elegant. Music was a perfect fit. It's very hard to get reservations, and while the bar is walk-in available, it is first come first serve with only about 10 seats. So if you're planning a large group dinner, book well ahead of time! read more

Cake bake shop is an incredibly aesthetically pleasing restaurant. Located on disneys boardwalk it is in a great location. I would highly recommend getting a reservation if not staying on property. Despite the restaurant being extravagant the food is just OK. The coffee was a highlight but the chicken salad lacked flavor. The french onion soup was good. Dante was a great server and very attentive. Would recommend coming for drinks, pastries, and coffee. Pricing is very high as well. Overall a place to definitely check out at least once! read more

Our first visit to the famed Cake Bake Shop (restaurant, not the separate bakery). We bought a Costco gift card bundle so we were willing to try food + what they're known for, dessert. The surroundings were beautiful with the chandeliers and ornate decorations. I wish that they brought out bread and butter for the table, but did see that they offer it on the menu under "Sides" for a whopping $8! I can't imagine paying that kind of an upcharge for that. I ordered the Grilled Salmon Sandwich as it comes with the arugula salad, while my husband got the Shrimp Po Boy with fries (upgraded to truffle parmesan) and we swapped sides. The sandwich was amazing - the basil aioli really added a savory depth, and the salmon was the most perfectly cooked filet I've ever had. The brioche bun was so soft and tasty, too. The truffle fries were good but left a little to be desired. They could have used more truffle oil and a LOT more parmesan, but the garlic aioli that came with it was a nice complement. For dessert, we split a slice of the Millionaire cake, since our waitress mentioned it was the fan favorite. I was REALLY looking forward to this part of the meal since it's what they're known for. I left disappointed. The cake itself was extremely dry - obviously they have to make these cakes ahead of time to meet demand, but it was like it had been in the fridge for a full day or two instead of a few hours, sapping all of the moisture out. No particular standout flavor. The filling with the caramel and shortbread was great! But the base of the cake was so flavorless. $22 for a dry cake is a bit steep. Our waitress was friendly, but only came to refill our water at the end of the meal as we were paying. For how nice the atmosphere is and how expensive the prices are, I was hoping for more. read more

Had a delicious meal here! We came on a Friday night and service was great but on the slower side. Started with the French onion soup which was to die for. Such robust flavor and the baguette went great with it. For entree I had the salmon. It said it was wild caught on the menu but it 100% looked like it was atlantic/farmed salmon and not wild caught. It tasted fine but wouldn't get it again for the price. I got the champagne berry cake and it was tasty! The server said it was light and for being such a large cake I agree. The berries were fresh and the cake was moist and fluffy. Not a gut bomb which was nice. read more

Came here for my best friends birthday and was blown away by how gorgeous this place was! It was everything in my whimsical and romantic dreams. We had a lunch item which consisted of half a sandwich and a side of soup and then we shared a slice of cake which was probably one of the best cakes I have ever enjoyed. This restaurant looks fabulous! Especially when its decorated for the holidays! Looks like a winter wonderland. Amazing desserts and HUGE pieces of cake! The service is magical. The Banana pudding is the best I've ever had. One of the speciality cakes wast the Coconut cream cake and it was absolutely delicious. The Coconut Latte was also great! The Unicorn Hot Chocolate is almost too pretty to eat and the flavor is out of this world! Also tried the L'Oriental tea and it was so light, fruity, and refreshing. If you're visiting the boardwalk at Disney properties you should definitely stop into the Cake Bake Shop. This store is absolutely gorgeous it is so dreamy filled with pink and floral decor. Thank you Jose who greeting us at the front and was very nice and helpful to our experience. Everything has its own touch of beauty and of course their desserts are elegant and delicious. This visit I didn't get any of there treats but I did however get an iced matcha latte with oatmilk and agave. The drink was very nice a little more matcha than I prefer but not terrible. My sister however did get some treats and she said they were really good! read more
