I would not recommend this place for a manicure or acrylic nails, a few months back I got my nails done and they lasted less than 2 weeks. I recently went in for a manicure and they did not buff out my nails nor did they clean out the cuticle completely. Since moving to East Highland, I've been looking for my nail shop. I haven't quite been too impressed to stick to one, so each time I go somewhere new. Per usual, I turn to Yelp for help. This place had mixed reviews, so I was a bit skeptical. However, due to poor planning on my end, I needed to go somewhere close, so I decided to give this place a shot. I called a little bit after they opened and asked if they had time for a dip manicure and pedicure. The gentleman who answered verified that they did, so I made my way over. When I arrived, I was surprised to see how many people were already there. I was greeted right away by a man whom I believe to be the owner. I was asked to wait a few minutes while waiting to be sat at a spa chair. I waited about 5 minutes before getting sat. A nice lady did my pedicure to my liking. Then another lady came up to me to file my nails to prepare me for my manicure. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to wait, so I informed them that I had to leave and would have to come back another time for my manicure. They were very understanding. They accept Venmo for payment which I appreciate as I hardly ever have cash on me. There are sign in the shop that request for tips to be directly given to the nail technicians to their personal Venmo or Zelle account. My nail technician did not have one, so the owner says I could put my tip with my payment and he would give it to her. I had a good first experience and will definitely be coming back. Don't go here. They do not do a good job on pedicures. They charge an extra $15 for gel. I used to do nails. Gel is not that much more expensive for product. The last 3 times I have been here they don't do the full service. My nails were not cut enough and I had to keep asking. There was not any massage at all and their attitude is very bad. When I said I wasn't happy the front desk person did not say anything. Very unprofessional but they can talk and yell back and forth at each other in their own language with no problem. I have been going to this place for years! And never really had an issue. Today was the worst, I have never been so disappointed. I made an appointment yesterday for two pedicures with Bryan and Nancy at 10 am. We got there everyone was sitting around except for Nancy and Bryan they were just starting on another client knowing they had appointments at 10. So here's my thoughts: I used to come here all the time, seeing that it is close to my house. However a few years ago I got my first set of acrylic nails, and they were awful so I didn't go back for awhile. I then went to Totally Nails in the mountain grove plaza, but they were EXTREMELY expensive!!! 40 dollars for a gel fill! And the lady didn't even paint my whole nail? I was mad. So today I went and got a fill at Jolines. Customer service wasn't great, they're all pretty rude there. However, the gel fill was only 27, which was a good price. The owner (billy I think) did a good job on them honestly. Depending on how long these last, I'll be returning to their salon, but I'll be making the appointment with billy for sure. read more

I just moved to the area and wanted to try a new place. The staff was very nice, but the nail stations were very dirty. I showed two different pictures of what I wanted and the girl said she couldn't do it because it was a sticker, even though I knew it was a sticker I didn't want to argue with her. The French tip design she didn't clean up to make it look like a French tip curve, instead it's a 3/4 nail painted straight across. She didn't drill under my nails either to clean them up. At least half of my nails are lifting pretty bad, and it's been only 7 days since I've had them done. One of my nails completely came off, she put gold foil on some and it has come off also. The clear gel was very rough and looks like sand/dirt is trapped in it. I saw her notice it and she choose to tell me I was finished instead of fixing it. That's the point I knew I wouldn't return. I called this morning at 10am right when they opened to make an appointment for 4pm. I called again on my lunch break to confirm my appointment at 4pm.
