Took an hour drive to try this place and it was so good! The spaghetti and spicy chicken tasted amazing and the peach mango pie was also really good. Highly recommend!!

I wasn't a fan of the food at all. It lacked flavor in every dish, the texture of the spicy chicken was off and all I tasted was spice and nothing else. The original chicken wasn't any better. We Mac and cheese and mashed with gravy as sides it wasn't good at. Plus we ordered a family deal with sides that were very small. I don't know what hype was I threw the food away and went to eat somewhere else. The service and ambiance was nice which is why I didn't give them 1 star. I will not return.

I finally got to try Jollibee. It was a rare treat for me as someone delivered it from Sterling Heights to me at work in Detroit. I ordered the Pineapple Quencher, chicken tenders, spaghetti and mac & cheese. After hearing and reading reviews for years, I decided to dive in ignoring what I've heard--making sure I ordered the spaghetti. I've never had it from fast food restaurants. The drink was delicious and probably a little too sweet, but I very much enjoyed it. The mac & cheese was rich and reminded me of Stouffers frozen TV dinner mac & cheese. It had a similar taste and even had a little burnt cheese on the top. It felt like nostalgia. I enjoyed the Jollibee spaghetti. The tomatoey sauce tasted a ting like barbecue sauce. The little chunks of sausage or hot dog or whatever it is were good. Something else that I've not experienced. The flavors were rich, and it felt like homemade. I was expected to be blown away by the chicken. Perhaps it's better there at the restaurant, fresh and hot. I had issues with the texture, and also, I was expecting the unique flavor that I hear comes from the Chicken Joy, so maybe the next time I'll buy pieces of chicken not tenders so I can experience that unique flavor that everybody raves about. In all it was a pretty decent meal. I would definitely order everything that I had again. Next time, I'll have gravy instead of the overly sweet pineapple sauce.

The jolly spaghetti is a must try!! The korean bbq sandwich was also so good! I really wanted to try the spicy chicken but the fryer was down the day I went so i was unable to try that.. but everything else was really good and the staff was friendly.

Much improved Jollibee when it comes to service and the quality of food served - chicken joy skin was very crispy and the jolly spaghetti had more sauce ratio to the pasta ... although the sauce was the slightly for my taste. Took about 10-15 minutes to wait in line, give orders then pick up order. Came on a Saturday, lunch time. Lots of Filipinos present. There is drive thru as well as dine in but with limited space. Restroom available. Free outdoor parking. Was able to use the jollibee app to earn and redeem points.

Iconic Jollibee out front.

I had lunch here one Monday afternoon. The US locations appear to be different than the ones I've had in Asia. Still very good but slightly different. The chicken ia amazing here. Crisp and juicy I recommend it over KFC or any thing like McDonalds or BK. The Spicy chicken sándwich is not spicy (like 6 out of 10), but has great flavor. I'd order that or a small bucket of fried chicken anytime. The fries are not good. They were fresh but slightly undercooked. I think they are close to McDonald's style, but not as crisp. Get the coleslaw or maybe something else instead. Overall it was clean, well staffed and had goo's service. I enjoyed my meal and would come again.

We ordered online for pickup and it took awhile. They were busy though, so it was to be expected. The food was hot and smelled good. We took the order to go and ate it at home. The chicken did not have much flavor and the hot dogs in the spaghetti had an odd taste. Not what I expected. The chicken sandwich was decent and the peach mango pie was really good. The price for the quantity and quality of food was a bit high. Since they were busy, there was not much interaction with the staff. The inside of the restaurant was clean and welcoming.

Angus Burger Deluxe is excellent! Great sear. Served hot from the grill. Veggies were fresh, crisp and cool. Cheese was not melted ... a minor miss. Very reminiscent of a Culver Butter Burger, but Jollibee has a better bun. Spicy sandwich is also excellent. Breading is a bit more than Wendy's and less than KFC. Served hot. Great bun. Service is swift. Dining room and restroom are clean.

My adventure to visit the first (and at the time of this writing, only) Jollibee in the state of Michigan concluded on this particular day. I got here in the late morning and was fortunate to be the only customer at the time. I know this location has been around for over a year, but I was expecting to see a decent amount of foot traffic given how rare this restaurant chain is in these parts. Since opportunities for future visits are limited, I took full advantage of the situation and ordered a wide variety of popular items. One dish they are known for is their spaghetti, which I had to pass on unfortunately because it contains pork. But I pretty much ordered most of the menu for my breakfast because I just really wanted to see what all the hype was about. Let's get the main question out of the way first....this place has great fried chicken. I think I personally enjoy Popeye's more, but they are definitely better than KFC and it's not even close. The meat is so juicy and tender while the batter is perfectly seasoned and crunchy. I got one of the regular and one of the spicy and I found them both to be satisfying in their own ways. One thing you are supposed to do when you come is get a cup of gravy and dip your chicken into it. I tried this technique, and I must say it really hit the spot for me. The amount of sodium in both the chicken and gravy is high, so be warned doing this may make you extra thirsty. Thankfully Jollibee has a decent selection of sweet and refreshing drinks to satisfy your thirst, so I went with their fan favorite Pineapple Quencher. It was very sweet indeed, although the ice helped balance it out. A perfect compliment to all the savory food I got to enjoy, and given the company's Filipino roots was appropriate. Imagine blending a pineapple and sifting out all the flesh, that's what this drink tastes like. Moving on we had the fries, which were by far the weakest item I consumed. They weren't necessarily bad, but without the dipping sauces and gravy they wouldn't have been worth getting. I dipped them in both the Pineapple BBQ sauce (which was very sweet and reminded me of a spicy jam) and the Creamy Sriracha. The biscuit that I got was very light and buttery, and also a perfect item to dip into the gravy along with everything else. The one item I was not exactly excited for was the Cheesy Yumburger, but I will say this was a decent fast food cheeseburger. The bread was nice and fluffy, but did a good job absorbing the juices from the beef. The burger patty itself was probably frozen at one time, but I still found it to be tasty for what it was. While I did not need to do this, it too was dipped into the brown gravy and I have no regrets about it. I was so full by the end of this that I took the ube pie home. When I did eat it I found a crispy exterior with a smooth purple filling that kind of reminded me of a sweet potato pie. Overall I very much enjoyed my meal, and I spent a total of almost $25 for all this food and drink. Even though things like the burger and fries very just okay, I think coming early enough in the day gave me the advantage of eating food that wasn't just sitting around all day to get cold or stale. Jollibee is a little over hyped, but at the end of the day it's a unique fast food restaurant and one that I think everyone should try at least once. I took whatever gravy I had left home to eat on other things, it's that good.

Second time trying Jollibee and I really like the spicy chicken more than the original. The spicy chicken isn't overly spicy, but a nice extra spice. The guava freeze was delicious and very refreshing on a warm day. My friend who doesn't usually eat pork enjoyed the special spaghetti that they serve there. The place has been super busy both times I've visited, which has been about a year between the visits. The workers are nice and helpful with explaining menu items. I just wish the place was larger since it's kind of far from where I live so I'd have to eat there to enjoy the chicken fresh. But like I mentioned before, it's super busy there.

Had the angus smash cheeseburger with mashed potatoes (pictured). Not certain what smashed means other than pressure being applied while on the grill squeezing out the juices and the flavor. The mashed potatoes were OK although a small amount of potato and gravy. Seemed to be a popular spot for the take out lunch crowd with a crew of six employees behind the counter. If I stop again, I'l try the chicken as this is not a burger restaurant.

Jollibee ain't too bad. I like their chicken (spicy) and their macaroni. I'm not a fan of the pineapple quencher like others. They changed their biscuits and they weren't too good in my opinion. However everything else is good. They need to clean their restaurant waiting area though because it's very dirty.

Jason C.

I stopped by since I was in Troy and appreciate that the open at 10am. I got my usual, which is 3 pcs chicken meal with adobo rice, spaghetti and pineapple quencher. I had to wait a bit for the spicy chicken, as they were just placing them in the fryer when I was ordering. Still thinking about the spicy chicken, juicy, moist and delicious! Their spaghetti was good, not sweet like other places and this is why I liked it a lot better. The rice was ok, and never knew Jollibee's served biscuits - yeah, skip it :) Get here when they open if you can. I got here around 10:15am and by the time I got my food (after 12 minutes from ordering time), the place was half full. The only drawback, from the moment you walk in and until you leave, the whole place smells of grease. They need to get their ventilation system checked lol Friendly staff during my visit, be back if I'm in the area again.

My wife and…read moreher parents are from Chicago, the home of Portillo's, so when they visit us, we have to go here! We do not normally come to this location but they are all pretty similar. This location is on 535 very close to SeaWorld, and also in a very touristy area. They have opened a few locations around Central Florida. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a drive thru. I think their food is best eaten there so its hot and fresh. Inside their decor is a mix of old timey cars and car hops. It reminds me of a restaurant you would find in the 60s. Its fun, the staff are fun, there is music and they also sell beer. I don't think I have ever really seen a fast food restaurant serving beer. Im sure they exist but I cant think of one. This is a fun environment, the staff calls your order out and then when its ready they use very fun slogans to tell you its time, such as "Order 165 it's time to shine" and "Order 173 come and meet me". This is perfect for families not looking to spend a ton of money and also get a hot dinner or lunch. There were a lot of families in here eating dinner when we went. It is very touristy at this location, the shopping center it is in, also has a White Castle so just be prepared. There were plenty of parking spots though. Portillo's menu is very simple, they have hot dogs, burgers/chicken sandwiches, salads, bowls and Italian beef. However, they are most known for their Chicago style hot dogs. Their Italian beef is very good, they dip the sandwich in a hot au jus sauce. A Chicago dog has mustard, green relish, celery salt, tomatoes, onions, a pickle and peppers sandwiched on the hot dog. This is a meal on top of the hot dog. My wife usually orders the Chicago dog with no onions or relish. I usually go for the Italian beef or one of their salads or bowls. I usually get something different each time. This visit, I actually went with the Italian Sausage and Beef combo served on a hoagie bun. This was a great combo and even my wife mentioned how the sausage was really good and something she would probably get next time. Service is always really great. Everyone is always nice and friendly. Someone is always cleaning the tables, everyone says hello, they are just really great with their service. Drinks can be refilled, you just need to go to the counter if they do not have their own self service machine. I would definitely recommend this chain. The food is great, service fantastic and a fun vibe inside. ACES!

Have I never written a review here? Let's change that right now…read more.. I have visited here a handful of times in the past. I prefer this location over one that is much closer to my residence. This trip, I ordered online through their Android app. I was able to select my meal quickly and schedule a time for pickup. Once I arrived I scanned the counter as I passed by to wash up before dining. Yep, my order was ready and waiting (about 1:45pm). As I entered the restroom, I noticed that it could use some attention. The sink area was untidy, mirror could use a good cleaning and the sink looked as if it belonged out in a shop area somewhere. It really needs a good scrubbing! The paper towel dispenser was totally out of toweling. On to my meal ... I ordered a mixed 4 piece meal, spicy with an unsweet tea. Unfortunately, my tea was sweet - oh well. The rest of the order was correct. I liked their version of Cole slaw. Now, on to the chicken ... Popeyes served breaded chicken, heavily breaded chicken. You can literally take a bit and get a mouthful of breading, no chicken. Sometimes I don't bite too hard, just in case there is a bone hidden inside. Okay, besides the breading, the chicken is cooked well, but still moist and tender. The spice level is about perfect for my taste. My final portion of the meal was there biscuit. As usual, it was tasty, not overcooked. Overall, had the restroom been clean, this review would have been a 5 star. Offering a clean washroom for patrons it a must in my opinion. I will return.

She didn't look at me, nor was she friendly. If you don't know how to handle a simple job like this why are you in customer service? Just because they are all the way in the suburbs, the low class ghetto people somehow infiltrate good neighborhoods that have places like this. This is Sterling Heights, and I'm very disappointed.

At work, we had delivered coupons and decided I'd give them a try. I did not regret my decision to come here for lunch. They had low house and dance music playing, but not loud club levels. The lighting was nice and modest, not blinding and bright like some places are. I would say this is a very trendy, upscale quick-service restaurant. The vibe and feel of the restaurant was very fresh and clean. The leather chairs were very comfortable. There are some good options for your entrees, but I got a three-piece tender meal and a drink. You can get drinks from the fountain or lemonades (normal or frozen). I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants fresh tenders that are fresh. In the photo I got the no spice, honey butter, and buffalo. I like that you can select the flavor for each tender, that's very unique to other experiences where they're all the same or can only get a couple flavors when placing a larger order. Kahmiah came around midway through my dining to see how my food was. Even though I asked to dine in, she asked if I needed a to-go container. The food was so delicious, I had nothing leftover. 10/10 would recommend and continue to come back.

Personally I am probably not coming back, but that does not mean you should not try it. We heard…read morethat a TX Chicken place was coming to Novi, so we decided to try an already established location. The parking lot was packed, but not for this place. For most of the time, it was empty and we were the only customers. A couple other parties did come in, but it was not as crowded as other big name chicken places. The décor was cute, but my husband was confused by what the actually theming was. Was it Houston? No clear direction. But it was eye catching. The people who worked here were mostly friendlyish, but the main person was super dry and not at all personable. It seemed like we were bothering this person even though she was fair and efficient. Just not friendly at all. The food was super expensive, especially for the portion size. The meal cost more than a typical sit down restaurant, especially for the experience, portion size, and the quality, and that's not okay. I guess I would rather have a sit down experience compared to this. I can go to our favorite Mexican restaurant for cheaper chicken and fries plus chips and salsa for less money. The fries were really good, well seasoned, crispy and thick. The cheese dipping sauce was really good, but pricy for the amount given. The house sauce was not bad, but the BBQ was just a brand name pre-made cut, and not a house sauce, surprising for a chicken place. And the syrup was also a pre-made cup, not a house made syrup for a place that wants to do waffles. The waffles were good, very sweet, seemed like a Belgian liege style, I would recommend it and they do offer a la carte waffles. The chicken sandwich was probably the best of the chicken. Both kids got the honey butter sauce. They were tasty, but so small for a $12 price a la carte, and even more with fries. The strips were disappointing. The chicken was not juicy enough and the actual chicken had very little flavor. We got plain, honey butter, mild and medium. The plain one did not have much flavor, even good seasoning to it. The mild and medium were red in color but lacked flavor. The lemonades were very good, but super expensive. Honestly, go to Shake Shack down the street, their lemonades are great and refillable, also larger and less expensive. Personally, Dave's Hot Chicken would be my go-to in the hot chicken category of fast food. And Shaquille O'Neil's chicken place is the place I would return to for a variety of options plus milk shakes. The shakes here were honestly too expensive to try even though they looked good. Since parking was limited, I imagine most people were at Panda next door, where the prices are better and the portions are bigger. Plus there are so many wing a strip places around us, I would need an amazing experience to come back soon and this was unfortunately not it. But, if you are a hot chicken fan, give this place a try and see for yourself.
