I've been to a few other JJ's around town but this one right here gotta be my favorite. The place is new, I think it replaced an old soul food spot. The customer service was very friendly and I got the food very fast. And damn the chicken was on point. Cooked perfectly, fried hard and crispy but still moist and juicy on the inside very hard todo. Some how they made the fries the same way, they were crunchy and seasoned well but not over seasoned and still maintained a most interior. They offer a wide variety of cakes which are great and only cost I think it was a buck but definitely less then 2. I'm trying to avoid fried food now and eat a lil healthier but man I know where to go on cheat day. Will definitely return

5 piece ocean perch dinner. Not pictured: bread, cole slaw and tartar sauce. Fries were tasty.

The north end of Southfield has a new option for fried chicken and fish. JJ's opened earlier this week and I needed a fish dinner on Good Friday. There is a real popular fish place just a bit further north of JJ's. If you like fish and live in the area you know the place. But that place takes a loooong time to get your order out. 45+ minutes is not uncommon. And whatever estimate they give you can throw out the window. The guy on the phone at JJs said they could get a 5 pc perch dinner out in 7 minutes. 7! Well, I didn't get it in 7 minutes. I walked out the door 11 minutes after I ordered. And the fish itself? Solid. As good as the place up the street? Tough to say. I'd need to have them both side by side. JJ's fish is good, the prices are competitive and you're still young when they deliver the food. I'll be back.

Fried Chicken (wing, drumstick and thigh), French fries, coleslaw, bread and a drink.

I attened the grand opening. In celebration of their opening the restaurant offered a free meal. Fried Chicken, coleslaw, bread and a drink. I enjoyed it very much it was cooked perfectly. Since the opening I have bought plenty meals for my family from there. The Catfish and whole wings deal is awesome. No complaints so far lets hope they stay consistently good. Friendly helpful staff and great food. Service with a smile!

The food is good but the service is not. I know it's not fast food, but it took way too long.

Food is mediocre. You have to pay for water. All we got was TAP WATER - unfiltered, no ice! Smelly and disgusting, couldn't drink.

Wings are fresh, crispy and well flavored. Cashier who also takes orders is friendly. This is our go to place for wings!

Can't go wrong where with the lemon pepper wings and Kool-Aid . Make sure you check out the daily specials.

Located on Woodward, there is ample street parking. I didn't realize that Little Ghost is more of a fast food joint versus restaurant. The burgers are made to order and it does take time - reminds me In and Out with a special Grey Ghost touch. I ordered a single and double ghost burger with fancy fries. You get to pick the temperature of your burger which makes elevates the experience. Have you ever ordered a medium burger at a fast food joint?! Nope! That was a nice touch. Everything was well touch out to the colors and interior pictures to the menu. So cute. Love the vibrant colors. Absolutely obsessed! Everyone was nice. We got our food to go and enjoyed sitting outside with our pup. Yummy!

Ordered a single, a double, two drinks and fries. Totally was 34$. Very expensive I feel. Food was good though. I did enjoy the burger. The single was enough. They don't have any toppings for the burger besides cheese, lettuce and their ghost sauce (basically mayo, pickles and maybe tomatoes). They do have packets of ketchup and mustard if you ask. Fries were fresh and you can tell. This was my favorite thing. They were actually very good. I didn't care for the fancy sauce too much though. But the size of the fries are shareable I feel. Overall I would come here again and try other food. But, with the lack of toppings for the price, it would steer me away.

Rich, perfect texture, with excellent hot fudge. The interior of the restaurant was very clean, including the floors. Everything else was, at best, mediocre. The grilled chicken wasn't even warm, despite the fact that we dined in the restaurant. This might have been because we waited almost 20 minutes for the food. The chicken was full of gristle: tough, stringy bits I couldn't chew through. The person who brought the soft serve to our table was pleasant and efficient, however several other employees were neither pleasant nor efficient. When we first walked in, the two employees at the counter were both on their phones (maybe this was why there was a huge line of people behind us). Neither greeted us, and the one who took our order did so with just a sullen "What do you want?" That person's uniform was covered in thick food spatter. Why didn't management get her a new top? While waiting for employees to get off their phones to take our order, we saw and heard several other employees gathering behind the counter to complain in loud voices about their work. All of these service issues point to a need for *much* more employee training, not to mention closer attention by store management. Would I return to Culvers? Hard to say.

The red salsa is mild. Chips after a couple of stale ones aren't bad. Crunchy. Chicken quesadilla was pretty good, the super is a good size. The vegan chorizo is so-so. The vegan cheese tastes rubbery and odd to me, then again so does vegan chorizo. Not for me. The side of beans is decent. Esquite is super creamy, more like a soup here. Not quite what I expected. It's subpar. The guacamole is bland, not a lot of flavor to it. The green salsa is spicier, it's pretty good.

I ordered a burrito along with chips and salsa, rice, and beans, and everything was absolutely delicious. The rice and beans were especially good--I ended up eating them with my nacho chips and it was the perfect combo. The burrito was packed with flavor and made just right, which is exactly what you hope for when trying a different location. The only small difference I noticed compared to the West Bloomfield location is that there, they brought out the chicken and salsa right away with the drink cup and even provided a container to dump the chips into. That said, it's a very minor detail and definitely doesn't take away from how great the food was here. Overall, Taco Bros on Woodward delivers the same high‑quality, tasty experience I've come to expect. I'll absolutely be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for solid, flavorful tacos and burritos.
