What makes this unacceptable is that the gym continues to collect mandatory maintenance and equipment dues from members, yet refuses to invest in even basic industrial fans to ensure a safe environment. Working out under these conditions is a health hazard, and management's refusal to address it shows a complete lack of care for member safety and satisfaction.

Not to mention I've seen many of the kids run up to give hugs to the teachers especially before they leave for the day. The look on the parents faces when they pick up their kids tells me this is the right place. I've seen the teachers always keeping the parents informed of how the kids day went and if there were any accidents at all also. Another thing I loved seeing about this daycare is the closeness the parents have with not only the teachers but the director/owner Ms Chevon to the point that even when the parents pick up their kids alot of them will just stay around a few extra minutes to talk with both of them. I have been at other daycares an many of them you could tell many of them just did it for the job. Definitely would recommend Above and Beyond to anyone

My mother walked in to pick my daughter up and no teacher was in the classroom whatsoever all unsupervised. My child was crying hysterical holding her hand as if she got hit, when I asked to see the cameras I was denied. CHEVON is a terrible director and wouldn't recommend bringing your children there.

There has to be a better daycare in the area.

I went on their website and like what I read, and I was excited to take the tour of the facility. My tour was in the morning, once I got there I was extremely disappointed. I visited the toddler room and was shocked how poorly the room was kept. The first thing I noticed was the smell. The room smelled like toilet water mixed with a little bit of urine. The floors were not clean and there was yellow residue on the floor next to the toddlers tables. I understand toddlers can be messy but there's no excuse why a room should smell like a toilet and look like the floors haven't been cleaned in days.

I've also seen what she wears to work, heels, extremely short dresses and skirts. Why would anyone wear that to a daycare where you're supposed to be on your feet for hours?), as well as Ms roro talking about doing drugs and rolling blunts in front of the kids and with the other teachers, they have a mother who isn't on payroll come in and cook for the children and watch the children (so if something happened under her watch they'd undoubtedly lie to the parents about it because she isn't even supposed to be there!!! Let alone cooking for the kids! That's more than enough to get them shut down by the state), and when going to the infants room I've noticed multiple of their cameras do not actually work. So if something did happen to someone's baby, they'd likely never have a solid answer because the damn cameras don't even work!!! These people have also lied straight to my face when I asked them if one of my sweet babies was getting disciplined physically because he'd tell me when he got home that he was whooped. One time.. maybe it's a fluke, but 2, 3, 4, 5 times is more than enough for me to call them liars. It was written all over their faces. This place NEEDS to be shut down. I'm working on reporting them to the state and I will report them every single week if I have to until that place is GONE! Our children need to be loved and protected, this isn't the place for that!! I will tell every single person I know with a child to watch out for this place. It left me heartbroken, no one deserves to witness what I witnessed and hear the words my child spoke. Please beware and tell everyone you know, and please take the time out of your day to report this horrible horrible place to the state.

My brother really loves owls, so…read morefor Christmas I contacted multiple wildlife centers in multiple states to find a place where he could hold one. Possumwood Acres was by far the most personable and accommodating of all the centers I contacted. We reserved a private tour of the reserve and a one-on-one with Pixie, their Barn Owl. What we got was so much more! We arrived the day after Christmas, bringing two of our friends along. We were greeted by turkeys & guinea fowl along with friendly human faces! Tonya, my point of contact, introduced herself and was our guide for the day. She took us all around the reserve where we saw falcons, hawks, vultures, crows, geese, swans, ducks, goats, pigs, peacocks, guinea fowl, turkeys, bunnies, squirrels, kestrels, pigeons, opossums, screech owls, woodpecker, kite, ducklings, and a lovely wood duck named Snuggles. Tonya brought us up close to everything and let us pet or hold as much as we wanted and was safe for the animals. We learned so much about all the animals, not just the species we were meeting, but about the individual animals and their stories as well. Most of them had permanent injuries, and it was really touching to hear how Tonya and the staff cared for them, giving them a home when they weren't able to have one in the wild. Tonya's passion was infectious and we wandered the reserve with her for two hours, never feeling rushed and always looking forward to the next animal she would show us. The grand finale was a one-on-one with Pixie, their Barn Owl! My brother held Pixie on his arm as Tonya educated us on barn owls, and some of Pixie's fun peculiarities. We were all able to pet her and take as many pictures as we wanted. It. Was. Awesome. The whole experience was very personal and interactive. It never felt like a packaged show or scripted tour. We had real interactions with the animals, not just a few pets through a fence. For a place that runs entirely on donations and is dedicated to animal rehabilitation and education, we were given the star treatment. It's crazy and so impressive how much this place accomplishes with so little. A huge thank you to Possumwood Acres for making our experience unforgettable!
