    5.99 hmmm...

Went to the jolly plater for breakfast. Food was ok not great, but went for the cinnamons roll we were told 7.99 on the menu said 5.99. Owner was the waitress and would not honor the price. Gave the excuse I'm a new small business owner give me a break, well good PR on that one, and it was said rudely and offensively!! If you can't afford new menus then black out the price with your pen and rewrite the new amount. Not good business not to honor. Or make them smaller!!! Not sure I will good back anytime soon!!

Great Breakfast! The corn beef hash was amazing and made from scratch. The blueberry pancakes are a must have. Fresh, local blueberries. Will come back if we are ever in the area.

We drove four hours away from home and stopped at this local diner. It is absolutely phenomenal, servers here are super friendly and the food tasted fantastic. Coffee is amazing as well, will definitely be back when I'm in town again!

I had the jollier breakfast and man it was delicious. Scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, a pancake plus the best Corned Beef hash I've ever had. I recommend this place for anyone visiting the area.

Had the blueberry pancakes and so good did not even need syrup. Good coffee and friendly service. Good breakfast choice!

Rustic space, but the service and food was wonderful. Try the jams they make in house.

Always a good experience. Portions are large, and they handmade their desserts. Great service everytime I've been in.

Had the corned beef hash and eggs on a busy Saturday morning. Had to wait a bit to get in but enjoyed the meal, coffee and friendly service.

The ice cream is that good, and the history and story behind the building make this place such a fun stop. It's easily become one of our all-time favorite ice cream shops! I got the Eskimo Kisses and my husband got the Peanut Butter Bull's-Eye, and both were absolutely incredible. The ice cream here is seriously 100 out of 10. I got mine in a waffle cone, and that was probably the only slightly disappointing part. The cones are pretty small, and honestly, it wasn't my favorite waffle cone compared to some others I've had. But the ICE CREAM makes up for it and then some! There is pretty much always a line here, no matter what time of day you go, but they are incredibly efficient. They move people through quickly, so even when the line looks long, you aren't standing around forever. The inside is so cute and quaint, almost like stepping into an old-fashioned diner or soda fountain. It's bright, fun, clean, and has so much character. I'm still kicking myself that I've never actually stopped here for breakfast or lunch because I've heard their food is worth trying too. One of these days! We ordered from the ice cream side, where they have all of the cones and ice cream treats listed. I didn't see milkshakes and some of the other things you might expect at an old-fashioned ice cream shop on that side, although I'm pretty sure you can get more options if you sit down and order from the restaurant side. If you're in Ludington, you absolutely have to stop at House of Flavors. The ice cream is fantastic, the atmosphere is so much fun, and the history makes it even more special. We came back a year later for a reason, and we'll definitely be back again!

The place seemed busy but luckily there was no wait time. There was a lot of vegetarian options and mostly each combination was available as a salad, wrap or a sandwich. I ordered the cranberry chicken wrap . The wrap felt a little dry but the filling was quite good. I also tasted chicken fajita sandwich and it was awesome. This place has started as an ice-cream shop. They hold a lot of records including one in The Guinness Book of World Records and it shows in their elaborate ice-cream selection.we ordered vanilla with butterscotch and raspberry rendezvous and liked both. Prices are reasonable too. Definitely worth a visit when in town. PS : we walked by the restaurant's ice-cream shop side in the evening again and there was a queue extending to over a block :)
