Cute little diner and store. Cute little diner, set up inside with couple counters to sit at, and a bar. There's also a store on the other side of the building and they have lots of alcohol choices, as well as cold drinks, and food and snacks that you might not have remembered to bring. In addition, they have a number of Scooby's gear and stuff. The people were all very friendly both the waitresses in the diner and the girl behind the counter at the store. Kind of a fun stop. We asked if they had Scooby snacks, and they do not.

Well my family thought it was more of a nicer restaurant but it was more of a food chain place which is completely fine. The waiter was nice and could actually relate to us often which I loved. She was a great server and fulfilled our needs fully. The food was great I got the chicken sandwich it surprised me I thought it was going to be dry but I was surprised to see that it was very juicy and crunchy. The bathrooms were mediocre which is fine. The tables were nice, but it was a little bit crammed. What I really liked about. This restaurant was the mini store that they had in the back room. Sort of like a market. One might say. The chairs were very comfortable.

Great beer selection and awesome fun old diner vibe. They have a great outside patio and their prices are very reasonable. First bite of the beef brisket sandwich was a bit tough and over cooked but flavored well. This must have been from the outside of the brisket. The rest of the sandwich had great flavor and lots of meat. You can get a $2 Hamms draft beer as well. Stop in here if close to Manistee's historic downtown area.

Great breakfast sandwiches! Whatever the hash brown patty is seasoned with is delish! So simple, but they elevated it

It was really good food, especially for the prices. The pancakes were HUGE! Everyone loved what they got.

My husband liked his food (besides his hashbrowns not being crispy as ordered), our youngest is 2 and a picker so he doesn't care, our oldest son said his food tasted weird but he ate it and I DID NOT like my omelette. I had 3 bites and a piece of toast and left the rest (2 year old was being whiny and I hate annoying other diners with loud children so we went to the car.) My omelette had no flavor at all. After adding salt, pepper and hot sauce (and not a lot at all mind you) all I could take was what I added. There were SO MANY barely cooked thoroughly hash browns that it might as well have just been an order of hash browns. The omelette was pitifully thin. It just wasn't good but whatever. My husband and oldest son stayed to finish their breakfast as I sat in the car with the youngest. The waitress (who was fantastic throughout the service) went to the back and apparently talked to the owner. My husband said she looked a bit like she was upset when she came back 5-8 mins later. Apparently she couldn't take it off the bill because the owner wasn't having it. Very strange, but whatever, my husband paid it. My husband went to tip the server a bit more than he had initially taken out and she said "no, you don't have to do that." But she was great and deserved a tip. As a business owner myself, the owner sounds like a jerk who has zero concept of good service. If a customer doesn't like something, you fix it and you don't treat your employees rudely either. I couldn't imagine treating my customers that way. Also, invest in some seasonings and lay off the hash browns. Fix your food and your attitude. And play some music in there or something.

My husband got the motherclucker sandwich (chips on the side), I got the Utter melt (also chips on the side), my dad got an omelette and my mom a chicken dish (i can't remember which) that came with a biscuit, potato wedges, and cottage cheese. The food was delicious and my parents were eyeing the giant cinnamon roll in the case while mentioning we may stop back tomorrow.

My husband has been trying to cut back on red meat, so on our half we got chicken. My parents got olives and onion on their half, which also looked good. We devoured our dinner after a long day of exploring and beach walking. The pricing to get our pizza delivered wasn't too bad, the delivery driver was very friendly and the food was fantastic. Those three things being the trifecta when it comes to restaurants has made this pizza place an obvious choice for us to revisit when on vacation again. I would definitely recommend coming here for pizza when in Manistee.

We got sausage, pepper, pepperoni, and mushrooms. It was so good the crust was a little floppy, but halfway in and all the way to the edge it was incredible crispy, and excellent with a great cheese flavor. Some of the best pizza I have had in a long time. If you are in Manistee big Al's is worth the effort. Service was good. They delivered it to our room with a smile on his face and he was very friendly. Not sure what the restaurant looks like inside, but prices were pretty good and the pizza was great. We also got breadsticks with Parmesan on them and they were excellent. The dipping sauces were good. Just a great experience.

It had the standard toppings--avocado, corn, black bean, tomato, tortilla chips. But the cheese was melted on top, like a kind of crunchy/chewey plate--it really looked like it was topped with a mini pizza. Not sure that enhanced the salad, but overall it was fine. Instead of dressing, it came with tubs of sour cream and salsa to mix in. I do that at home sometimes, so can't complain. The lettuce was fresh and crispy. Decent beer selection, including a quite a few bottled ones, which I hadn't noticed until after I ordered my pint of Two Hearted. Be sure to ask for a bottle menu. I sat at the bar and the server regularly looked in on me. Wasn't too noisy, in spite of the tight space that was full when I stopped in on a Sunday night. Nice little spot to check out in Manistee.
