I was really disappointed with my experience at Jolt. The coffee was poorly made and honestly tasted like something I could have made at home with instant coffee and Splenda. For the price, I expected a much better quality drink. What made the experience even worse was the customer service. The woman working the drive-thru who took my order came across as rude and uninterested. She didn't seem welcoming or appreciative of customers, which left a bad impression before I even got my drink. Overall, between the low-quality coffee and the unfriendly service, I don't plan on coming back. I hope Jolt takes customer feedback seriously and works on both the consistency of their drinks and the professionalism of their staff. read more

Despite the nuisance of the location, I've been going to this location for years because I really enjoyed the coffee, but lately the upselling has gotten out of hand. At 7am, I want a cup of coffee, not an $8 candy bar. I bought one not knowing how ridiculously expensive it was and will never make that mistake again. I also am not a wine drinker yet every morning the staff tries to push that in addition to the candy bars. This business has lost its focus and I'm pretty sure it is losing its customers because of it. Trying to sell additional products may seem like a way to enhance revenue, but it is actually counterintuitive. read more

My husband and I have only been here once, but we will be back if given the chance. It's one of those nice little drive through coffee shops. Service was friendly and quick! The cashier even complemented my tattoo despite the fact that I was sitting in the passenger seat. I just have to appreciate her eye for good art, you know? Great work, five stars all around for everyone. Ten out of ten, really. But in all seriousness, even without the comment I would recommend this shop if you're in the area. I got the Blondie which is a "swirl of cream, caramel & white chocolate" according to their menu. I was worried it would be too sweet, but it was well balanced! The Aura energy drinks are a must for those seeking a drink, similar to Red Bull or monster, but better and much much tastier! I love trying new coffee spots and Jolt Coffee is now one of my fav's! My first time visiting i can already say i'm a fan. Because it was my first time i did ask for recommendations. The girl was so sweet and helpful. She offered me a sample of the Jolt coffee and i loved it! I ordered it on ice with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. Prices are great, the coffee is great and the staff are also great! They also provided a punch card where your 10th purchase if free, however, they offer double punches as well as other offers throughout the week. I also love how its very convenient. I went to this location about 3 weeks ago. I spent around $36 for 3 large drinks, one of them a daiquiri type. My grandson was in his car seat and I asked for a small water for him. The little girl said she'd have to charge me for this water, then proceeded to ask if I would like to leave a tip on the card. The audacity! I really like this location because the staff here are so friendly, charismatic, and greet you with a smile. When you order they will ask you if you want your drink hot, iced, or blended. And you can choose from a size of small, medium, or small. The service here is quick and easy! This was a last minute decision the night before to get coffee before work and I am so glad I found this place! I dropped by Friday morning around 10:45am and I expected to see a big coffee shop or stand but as I pulled into the parking lot, I discovered that this was a literal drive thru coffee stand. They have a simple menu and you order at a window (same window you pay and get your drink from). As I pulled up, the barista was super friendly and helpful after she found out it was my first time here. I got a large hot Jolt which is espresso, milk, and sweetener. I got it half sweet because I am an avid black coffee drinker but enjoy the occasional fancy drink. They do double shot fridays which is a free extra espresso shot and it was too good of an offer to pass. The drink was pleasantly sweet and I could taste the espresso through the milk. Size was perfect, not too little and not too much. I found myself craving another right after I finished this one. In addition to the espresso drinks, they also have blended drinks, flavored sodas with a huge selection of syrups, and non-caffeinated options. Drink was 9.5/10. Service 10/10 (thank you for the punch card!) You'll definitely catch me here often! I fully intend to fill up that punch card soon. read more

Their menu is pretty darn big so that's a tall order, but the baristas take it in stride and happily suggests drinks they especially like and what they like I like too! I really like Jolt's. First time here, a week after their soft opening. Went for the basic "the jolt"- and it was sooo good. Not too sweet, with just enough to make it enjoyable. My boyfriend can't even remember what he ordered but he drank it quick which means it was also tasty. Definitely recommend! This place has absolutely amazing coffee and very friendly employees. I always look forward to driving up to their window and chatting with them. But one day, I looked in the window and saw that in their cramped and tiny box, there were about 5 employees with only 1 wearing a mask - the one talking to me. Thats absolutely horrid, and I can't believe they're making customers' coffee without any facial covering. I was shocked at that blatant disregard for not only the customer's safety, but also the safety of all the employees. I make it my policy to not go to businesses that don't enforce masks - excluding HEB. Im sad to add Jolt to that list, but I wont be going back until this pandemic subsides. It was great coffee until the machine broke. They refuse to fix or replace it so they are trying to pass off some watered down non coffee drink. Hot coffee shouldn't be that hard. They could buy a keurig and have it pay for itself in 3 hours. Until then I would not recommend this place read more

This place was amazing! Like other reviewers said, the first two things you notice are the upbeat friendly baristas, and being offered a sample of their signature "jolt" drink. AMAZING! It is a nice, smooth drink. I came for something a little sweeter than the Jolt however, and got the white lightning iced (I think?) which was a white chocolate drink. I only got a medium, and this cup was massive! Jolt has great prices, great sizes and value and great taste, all packed up into this tiny little building! 1/15/20 3:53 pm I came in on the backside of drive thru. The barista working completely ignored that I was waiting and helped the customers on the other side. As for the response left by owner below...."the barista attended to you within 1 minute per her camera" ya right.... it definitely takes longer than 1 minute to take an order, make a drink and process a payment on 2 cars. Went to Jolt coffee today in New Braunfels and got a cup of the Mighty Irish I really liked it I normally get a black coffee but wanted to step out of the box . It was hot,perfect sweetness and flavor.this was the first time I have gone to a new place that has a repeat customer program and when they ask if I have a punch card they give me one the other ask but no card.
