We had to stop here a couple of times (nearest Tesla Supercharger to our hotel while we were in town for a wedding). It is rather boring just waiting for the Tesla to charge up, so grabbing a mocha here (which is what I had both times that I visited) was perfect!! I'm not sure what their secret ingredient is, or if the coffee beans are really that good... but my mocha (1/2 sweet) made with milk was so smooth and tasty. Add benefit were their incredibly comfy chairs that I sat in while visiting my sister-in-law (who actually owns the Tesla that needed to be charged)... Great road trip and really great spot to charge up (both the car and my caffeine levels). read more

This is strip mall located satellite of the Jolts & Juice mothership located in downtown Ontario. You won't find the same large selection of baked goods and other food here, nor the funky original décor of downtown. But you will find friendly greeting, good coffee...well, our Americano to go was sure good...and a small assortment of baked goods and reheatable savories...like the vegetarian quiche we chose...and cold food in clam shells...like roast beef sandwiches and quinoa veggie salad. We always appreciate the vegetarian and omnivore options for eaters of all stripes. Like the downtown store, this location is sparkling clean and while it may lack the funky-town persona of the mothership, it does have personality all it's own. Seating for maybe 18 people at an assortment of standard height and high tables and sofa and chairs. Prices are reasonable. I think the quiche and coffee clocked it at just about six bucks total. Two small downsides. First, brewed coffee is from self serve pump pots. (Hence our order of Americano to be sure our to go was nice and hot.) Second, there is but one unisex loo in the shop. (Sparkly clean though). Easy on and off main route for the road traveler, it fits the bill for us when passing through Ontario. Parking is in strip mall lot. As an Washingtonian, I take my coffee very seriously. I grew up around here and had to come back to take care of some family stuff. This place was close to our hotel and sounded like a much better option than Dutch bros (yuck!). We stopped to use the Tesla Supercharger across the parking lot of this really cute coffee shop. They have tables for dining in - check out their decor if you have time. They also have a drive-up window. Not a coffee drinker, but their special hot Maple Nut White Chocolate and ice teas were really good as was the scone. Would definitely come back if we ever drive through Ontario. Quick friendly service was really appreciated too. read more

Best coffees, teas and smoothies ever, they roast their own beans at their downtown Ontario location! Staff are super friendly, fast and efficient. Always the best cookies and pastries, I recommend the peanut butter cookie, but bring a friend, it's huge. Great menu options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, try the hubcap sandwich, it's delish. The decor is comfy and inviting with an eclectic mix of antiques and rustic elements. It just makes you want to kick up your feet and stay a while. This is the perfect little coffee shop. We came here within 5 minutes of the place opening and the woman working could not have been more friendly. And she was so sweet to our pup. The americanos she made us were delicious and the scone was amazing. We went through the drive through but peeked inside as we drove by and the place looks really cute. This used to be great, but not anymore!!!! Three times in a row my entire family have got a very poor, burnt coffee and mocas. Massively too hot, burning my wife's and my mouth. Traveling through the area and was in need of a coffee. Saw Jolt & Juice Co and wanted to give it a try even though spotted a fav Dutch Bros across the street. Although it was 8:40p they are open until 9p so figured all good. The place was nice inside with a trendy vibe but was empty. The first red flag was tried to order a coffee but told they were out for the night and had already cleaned the machine but could make any of the expresso drinks. I asked a few questions about the expresso drinks and received very little info back, and quickly realized the counter person was not excited to have a customer at 8:40p! But hey they decided to stay open until 9p and so figured I would keep pushing ahead. So after realizing was not going to get much insight from the counter person asked what she made best. Was told her favorite was a Cafe Americano which ironically is one of my favorites and something I typically drink so was happy to order a large to go. Well back on the road I took my first sip and realized they must use some strong water and really weak coffee beans, as the water had overpowered the taste of the coffee! So with mediocre service, no coffee available 20 minutes before closing time (which for a coffee shop that makes its money from selling coffee it seemed counter intuitive), and receiving the most watered down café Americano I have ever purchased I believe one star best reflects my experience. read more

Guess the bar's pretty low in a place like Ontario. Glad the place was open at the hour when I visited, but there wasn't much else to mention about my visit. Lackluster would be generous. The coffee was pretty bland, and the bagel was pretty stale. Straight unremarkable. It was kind of amusing to me that a place that on the outside looked pretty young and hip had a house brew called "State Police Blend" or something to that effect. Here's the story... we had a wedding in Boise and due to a lack of planning on our part we didn't get a hotel room ahead of time. Boise and surrounding areas were completely booked out. Every single room was booked! The ONLY room was 40 miles away in Ontario, OR! The bed was lousy but the room was clean. However, the bonus due to our bone head move, we found JOLTS & JUICE the next morning! This is the cutest coffee shop I've ever seen! We are not coffee drinkers but wanted a juice and little bite to eat. It was amazing! We ordered an avocado toast ( divine) , breakfast sandwich ( delish) and berry guru energy juice! I live in Western Washington, my parents used to live in Central Idaho. Consequently, I've been through Ontario Oregon a more than a few times, and I've pulled off the Freeway at the Wal-Mart parking lot there, to indulge in the fine coffee beverages that Jolts and Juice has to offer. Point of fact, my very last time at Jolts and Juice was in May 2011, when the moving truck broke down in Ontario for four days, and my brother and I were stuck there just having our own adventures. So in four days time, I got to try many of the things on Jolts and Juice's extensive menu, from their hot and iced coffee drinks, to their wide range of smoothies. (I actually visited the downtown location while I was there as well, which was really quite charming.) The coffee drinks I've had there were always smooth, without a hint of that burned taste that comes from some of the larger coffee chains. The girls that worked there were very friendly and allowed us to hang out at our leisure for as long as we needed to. Their service is fairly top notch, and they have a good small town charm about the place that makes you feel welcome. Since my parents are now moved, I can't see me returning to Ontario Oregon for any reason, but one day, if I find my way to that town again, I will be getting a drink from Jolts and Juice. read more

The coffee is good, and I had the Cinnamon Roll - an absolutely sinful indulgence, but very, very good. If you come here for no other reason, show up just to check out the cool atmosphere, ambiance, and super-cool decorations, sculptures, antiques, and other memorabilia. This alone makes it a visit worth making if you're just passing through for coffee, or to jump on the free Wi-Fi to check your email. The staff is excellent. read more

I travel a lot from Oregon to Idaho. I discovered this place many years ago. I would make this one of my stopping points as I traveled both ways. I probably liked it for the name. Could be the single person bathroom (as I am not a fan of doing my personal business next to anyone). This past year I have noticed the changes. The staff are not as friendly. They are not as attentive. I ordered a drink and they added a bizarre flavor to both my drink and the person I was traveling with drink. Neither one of us drank it. I thought it was a fluke. Unfortunately, after going here 4 times this past year I realize they are not the same company I have loved all these years. Atmosphere is laid back with incredibly comfortable couches. This location doesn't have breakfast sandwiches, which is the only reason this is a 4-star review instead of a 5-star review. Very nice atmosphere here. I had the blueberry scone, and it tasted better and was fresher than any scone you would get at Starbucks. The coffee was great here too. I had their Mexican blend which was a little strong for a medium roast but after a few sips it was perfect. I would definitely come back again when I am passing through Ontario.
