But holy ass if you can't scoop out a full size scoop out of the bucket in one try don't open a creamery. For one it was so hard to watch. The ice cream is supposed to be a scoop that's velvety and easily placed into a cup or cone as a choice. To see people get their first lick in and have it be on the floor within seconds is horrendous. It would crumble at the touch. It was not soft or creamy. It was overly frozen. It was given "freezer burn" vibes and taste. It would not scoop out of the bucket you had your employees give up after two scrapes and tried to hand me a 20% full cup of crumbled ice cream pieces and was still under the impression like I was going to pay for that? No! That's hilarious to me actually because the amount of patience I had standing in line knowing I should have walked out was purely on me. 5$ per kiddo scoop? Oblivious. Creameries around my house don't charge over 2.50 for kiddo scoop and 5.50 for a single school. It's cute in there but the experience of this day has ruined my ability to think of coming back.

He then got the two line cutters taken care of. It was finally our turn. My husband got a scoop of cookie dough in a dipped waffle cone. I got a mini dipped cone with the chocolate peanut butter ice cream. The ice cream was great. The flavors were there. It was creamy and rich. I had huge chunks of peanut butter. My husband had plenty of cookie dough and chocolate chips in his ice cream. But, it was basically melting as soon as we got it. My initial scoop actually fell off my cone cause it was so soft. My husband rushed outside to eat his cause it was melting all over his cone and dripping. I got my fresh scoop and had to wolf it down cause of how soft it was, it was melting faster than I could eat it. It sucks having to eat ice cream that fast, you're not able to enjoy your treat. That's the whole point isn't it, to savor your food? To be in moment. The young man that was working tonight did a great job standing on business and getting it done. I love that this shop is right by our house but life takes over sometimes not allowing us to come more often. The one day we decided to come in and we couldn't enjoy our ice cream without having it melted all over our hands and dripping all over the ground. I really wanted to have a relaxing moment with my husband at Stella's today but that didn't quite happen. It was chaos trying to eat our cones super fast. Hopefully the next time around, the ice cream will be harder and more people will be working. Having ice cream the way we did today was three best.

I haven't tried many of their alcoholic flavored ones to be honest, but the lemon flavors are always great, he gets Marky Mark and the crunchy Bunch and that is incredible. I enjoy their lavender berry with a scoop of the lemon, both excellent together. My grandma always gets any of the chocolate flavors and she just says it's some of the best ice cream she's ever had and she's 93! Overall, this is a great place to hang out, they have a wonderful place to sit outside and you can walk over to the cemetery and enjoy your ice cream while you look at the old interesting stones!
