    The Steak Bomb
    Robert S.

Came here to try the Steak Bomb sandwich after seeing an on line review. It didn't disappoint. Freshly thinly sliced steak with onions, peppers, mushrooms, provolone and bacon on a soft freshly made roll. Really really good. They do get busy around lunch time so be prepared to wait, but worth it.

The first Jon Smith shop opened in 1988 in Palm Beach County. They are known for using quality ingredients for their grilled steak and chicken subs, crispy fries, and friendly service. In 2016 they were acquired by West Palm Beach based United Franchise Group with the goal of opening more locations in Florida and Georgia while simultaneously launching internationally into the UK. I was out and about exploring Jupiter and I stopped in on a late Saturday afternoon for lunch. The place was completely dead and employees were sitting around hanging out. I decided on the steak, cheese, and onion, their most famous sandwich. A 6 inch and a Arizona Iced Tea was $10. I sat down in the roomy and clean dining area and a few minutes later I was served my order. The caramelized onions, seared steak, and melted cheese were all served in a better than average Italian roll. The sandwich filling was a good ratio to the bread. This is a solid option for a quick service meal if you are in the area,

Delicious sub spot! The Cajun chicken sub is VERY spicy. I do not recommend this sub unless you like very hot foods. If you love spicy food, you should get it! The teriyaki chicken sub is also great. Lots of meat!!

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the guys behind the counter with their thick New York accents--it instantly sets the tone. The selection is incredible, with everything from large balls of freshly made mozzarella to eggplant, rice balls, and so many other classic Italian favorites. They do offer subs, but one of the best parts is being able to build your own at home--they'll happily slice up a pound of whatever cold cuts you choose. I was also pleasantly surprised to find imported olive oil straight from Sicily for $25, which I couldn't pass up. Fair warning: it's very easy to get carried away here. Just standing there, taking in all the options, you'll likely walk out with way more than you planned--but it's completely worth it. I ended up making my own sandwich using homemade sourdough from a local shop down the street, and the combination was perfect. Supporting locally owned businesses like this makes the experience even better. You get quality, authenticity, and real ingredients--something you just don't find with big chain stores. Shop local--you won't regret it.

Thank you also to John who delivered the food, ensured we were satisfied with everything and was so polite. He has the best personality! Great experience all around, we will definitely be using Two fat guys for our catering needs.

To me, theirs is the best. The chopped liver is surprising - rich but never grainy. My guilty pleasures include their curry chicken salad and macaroni salad. The butcher shop is great - although there are times when only one butcher is on duty and the wait is too long. The bakery has "everything" and their pizza shop outstanding. Their New York style pizza is one of the best anywhere in South Florida. Although I don't buy my wines there, their offerings are impressive - a broad and deep shop. Finally, their people are almost always friendly and helpful. Overall, I always have a comfortable shopping experience.

It was delicious & some of the best I have had. I saw seared ahi tuna in the entree case. I got two pieces for the hubs. He said while the tuna was good, it was not cut the right way which highlighted the sinew. The almond horns were excellent. Overall it was a good experience. But I will continue to frequent Joseph's Italian Market. Better food & less pricey.

Our Table for two received one meal 15 minutes before the other. Waitress promise the second meal would arrive in only two minutes. Nope. When I tried to explain that the waitress never checked in on us that there was no one to send the meal back to, manager walked away. Upsetting that this former Boca legendary deli has fallen from five stars down to one. Glad to see they are busy, but they need to work on customer satisfaction in order to remain in open in Boca. I won't return anytime soon.
