I was referred to Frank La Rosa by my new landlady who spoke very highly of him. She told me if I ever needed anything at all fixed in the home I was renting from her...Frank is the guy to call. I first met Frank when he was painting the rental I was about to move into. He was really nice and seemed to know how to fix pretty much everything. He did an amazing job painting the downstairs area- truly, the paint job was terrific. There were a few other fixes that needed to be taken care of as well, a dripping sink upstairs, a shower head that leaked and spurted water right into my face (that was fun!) and a drawer that had the front board pull right off and needed to be glued and repaired properly, a chandelier that needed to be raised and have electrical wires hidden in the ceiling and getting my sliding doors to slide properly again. Sent a mass estimate request to 20+ electricians on yelp, briefly explaining the low voltage work I needed done. I was on a time crunch, with painters coming to patch holes in just a few days, and needed some wires routed and the "brain" of my apartment moved from the kitchen to the closet. Frank got back to me first, within 10 minutes, and we scheduled an appointment for the following day (Saturday). During the appointment I showed him the scope of the work and he helped me make a plan for how it needed to be done. It was certainly not the easiest routing job, with support beams and A/C ducts (that neither of us knew about before he discovered them) throughout the house which made a straight shot from closet to room impossible. I agreed to the estimate and he was able to start and finish within just a few hours on Monday. He'll definitely work to figure out what's wrong--first he fixed the loose connection in wall switch, and it was perfect for an hour.
