Supposedly this is the primary care. Terrible service, Dr Leon and staff do not care about patients, it's a shame Dr gagneja left and service has gone downhill. Front desk needs better training as well, rude and cold would rather pawn work off then do it.

Regularly, I would order refills using the portal only to end up calling the doctor's office to get things done after days passed with nothing happening. (The outgoing message for the doctor encouraged using the portal for refills.) Communications to Dr. A via the portal would often lack a proper response, too. I became tired wasting time having to repeat communications. Also, at times, Dr. A appeared hurried -- not a calming, relaxed bedside manner typical of physicians I see. Really scary to go to a new doctor but even the other doctors in the practice could not get any insurance group to offer coverage, unless you had a PPO or paid cash. The staff and other doctors there are amazing but I had to change to a new doctor that took my insurance. Really sad. I wrote a letter in support of DR O but it seems either the process takes a lot of time for the appeal or the evidence was too strong for reversal. They ran a good office and if one day Dr O is vindicated or they take my insurance again, I would consider returning as a patient.

She suffered respiratory failure and was transferred to Northridge Hospital where she was in ICU for at least a week. Dr. Okhovat did a phenomenal job orchestrating all the necessary specialist MD consults and retreived my mom from deaths door. He was always kind, patient, and available to answer our questions before and after this very serious hospital admission for our mom. We hope he returns to the practice soon, he's a godsend.

Dr. K diagnosed all of them quite handily. But what made him an outstanding doctor was the way he cared. The way he checked up on me periodically to see how I was doing, emails and such. Heck, he'd call me in the evening, after business hours, to go over some test result or another. He'd usually give me new advice on how to tame the demons of age. I often joked to my spouse that Dr. K was the nagging wife I never had before (but in a good way). I can only say glowing reviews about Dr. K. He's kind and knowledgeable and he cares. He put me on the path to health and perhaps saved my life. Dr. K, if you're reading this, thanks again. Oh and the wife said "good job". ;)

When I told him about my panic attacks, he told me to exercise and pray more. He mentioned the cross necklace I was wearing and asked me if my faith was superficial or deep. Such a joke.
