David took a few steps into the MRB and said he could smell mold coming from the shower! I knew the shower was in bad shape but I never suspected mold! He immediately told me what to do to hopefully control the mold. David provided a quote and started working on the shower the following week. Once he removed the tile, he discovered the damage was far more extensive than he initially quoted. What he thought would be a 2-3 day job turned out to take a week. He literally had to demolish the entire shower and build it back up from scratch! Despite the additional work required, he did not increase the price. He just did the work while singing! We needed HOA approval on the design and color, so Mark prepared a document with ALL the information required to secure approval, which came quickly. Mark came out to measure and the door was ordered. About 10 days later, our door was installed and it looks AMAZING! The installers were efficient, professional, tidy and did a great job explaining the best way to care for the door and to use it correctly. Our entire experience was professional and efficient. This morning, we were able to open our front AND back door for airflow, and feel secure and safe with a security door in front!. The manager also called back twice to make sure we were happy with the job. Although I missed those voice messages I figure posting about my experience here will make up for that. It's always tough when you are trying to hang a new door on an old frame that may not be perfectly straight anymore. And yes only time will tell if the fit holds. Garrett stresses that their process has never been given negative feedback. Go on their website and see if you can schedule an estimate. I gave up after 5 minutes of trying. So from a guy who developed processes for decades (me), I can tell you that their process has THEM in mind, NOT YOU. This is the kind of narcissism that will result in ANY problem with the job being either a "miscommunication" on your part (he likes that word) or something YOU did wrong. In addition to developing processes for decades, I also referred contractors and vendors to our Affluent Clients. I know that I would never have referred this company because of their bureaucracy and inability to accept responsibility.
