I applied for a 10 year multiple entry visa for my daughter and was required to provide the following documents: + Passports (hers, mine, my husband's) + Birth certificate (just hers) + ID (my driver's license) + ID from a relative in China (the agency will provide the required letter) The price was $185 for the 10 year visa and $115 travel agency fee = $300 total. It helped to speak Chinese though the travel agent was able to print me a form in English and helped me with any questions I had while filling it out. Turnaround time is expected to be about a week and you go pick up the passport in person. (I believe getting it mailed is an option for +$50 if I understood correctly.)

I've used Focus a couple of times from NY-Philly due to necessity. The positives: buses run often…read moreand usually on time, Chargers on bus generally work, relatively cheap at $20 round trip, can book easily online at goto bus site, and convenient drop off locations for me (essentially both Chinatowns) The negatives are the buses are dirty, the people on the bus are rude and loud, and drives are at times are dangerous (I usually sit in the front and watch the driver). Bring your headphones because the people on the bus are loud and unruly. Generally avoid but if you have no other alternative at this cost, go with focus.

What's not to love? For $35, you can get a round trip pass from NY (pickup in Chinatown or midtown)…read moreto DC (Chinatown). You can order your tickets online by searching "gotobus" but let me tell you... you'll save $2 if you buy your ticket in person. Tickets are "open" here if you buy them in person. That means you look at the time you want to ride the bus and you arrive 30 minutes earlier than your desired departure time. When your bus is here, there will be someone inside announcing it (i.e. 2:30 to DC). When you're lined up to board, the driver/manager will collect your ticket. If you purchased your ticket online, you HAVE to give that printout of purchase to the people manning the ticket windows. There, you'll get a handwritten piece of paper with your time on it; that's your "ticket". I would probably avoid any afternoon-early evening departures because getting out of the city can be quite torturous! Imagine taking 2 hours just to get out of the city...on a Friday (they'll pick up at Chinatown and drive local to midtown for the second pickup). Pro tips: 1) bring a usb+portable charger- sometimes, the bus's USB port won't work 2) sit near the front and not the back- the bathroom smell from the back will creep forward 3) board in Chinatown because you get first dibs on seats! 4) buy tickets in person and you'll save $

We chose the private family tour and booking was quick and easy and the customer service as great as I remembered. On to the tour itself: Luke met us at the Museum of Natural History on time and we got reacquainted. My son is autistic and can have some trouble warming to new people but absolutely no the case with Luke, he immediately put my son at ease and they were chatting like old friends as we made our way into Central Park. The tour covered loads of Central Park, including an exciting off track visit to a secret cave, the plaza hotel, grand central station, some fun subway rides, and concluded at the Brooklyn Bridge. But more than just seeing so many iconic sites, Luke had hundreds of facts and stories (which my son loved) about what we were seeing. It was truly like spending a wonderful day with an old friend.
