Decided to try this place for a cut and color because I found a Groupon for it. I was excited because it seemed like a great deal. I walked in not expecting to get in that same day and they scheduled me quickly for right then which was awesome. My hair stylist, Allie was very sweet and did a great job on my hair. No complaints about the finished product. However, when it came time to pay, they told me my Groupon did not cover the blow dry or the "pull through" which I guess means a full dye job instead of roots only. I only got one color. The Groupon said "single process color." Thank goodness I asked her not to style it because I was in a hurry. I'm sure that would've been an extra cost. Long story short, had I known I would have to pay an extra $25 on top of my Groupon, I would've gone to my regular stylist for the same price. read more

Purchased a Groupon for mani and pedi but found out they charge an extra $15 to remove polish?? Who does that? This salon is very awkward. The pedis are just one chair in a tiny back room where you're by yourself. There is only one lady running back and forth between your pedi, answering the phone, keeping an eye on the front, and basically you are left there for long periods of time if someone else comes in. used groupon to try out this salon. My first experience was a massage. It was average and was the first salon that didn't suggest or even give a glass of water for hydration to flush toxins. Felt like it was a "rush" and get done massage and didn't feel like they cared if I came back or not. Next experience was a manicure. Again, they were not busy but I was rushed through and out the door and didn't get to my car when nail polish was smudged because it wasn't dry. Not impressed. read more

I found out about this place off Groupon... The guy's name that will do your hair is Thomas.. He's from Germany and apparently a " master colorist"... Save your time and money.. This guy should be a nuclear engineer... I came in knowing exactly what I wanted.. He instead, talked my ear off for 45 minutes just into the consultation.. Normally, I would welcome someone taking the time to discuss what my goal and ultimate achievement is, but this dude not only made me feel like I had a 50/50 chance of brain surgery, ( only it was my hair) but he got me so confused and overwhelmed, I wanted to leave. I wish I would have listened to that gut feeling. This was before any work was done.. He proceeded to point out "spots" on my hair that we're going to break soon... He even asked me when he was combing through my hair "do you feel that"?? I was like "no".. He then said, you are going to lose hair here.. I have good hair and no one knows their own head better then themselves.. I'm far from losing any hair.. I was so discouraged by him, I asked for just a haircut.. Well... I asked to take (my almost to my boobs) hair to my shoulders , this guy gave me a "Dutch boy haircut"... I can honestly say, it's the worst haircut in my life .. My dog could have done a better job.. He cut 9 inches off my hair n gave me a box cut.. I started crying before he was even done. I didn't see what was going on behind me, cuz he made me stand up the whole time... With all do , I'm not a drama girl , nor have I ever cried over a haircut before cuz I'm of the thinking " it's just hair, it will grow back".. Well...I look repulsive.. A womans hair is her crown.. He gave me the worst haircut in my life.. The only reason why I'm giving this place a one star, is because a girl named Jessica Maddox saw my haircut ( while she was doing a client, how sweet of her) followed me out as I walked out in tears . I truly believe she saw the "plucked chicken" look this asshole gave me and tried to make it right. I appreciated that beyond words.. All I can say... Stay away from Thomas..... Don't let the fact that he's from Europe fool you into believing he's high end and may know what he's doing.. This guy is the pits and the worse!!! read more

Tara. She is good. The salon is comfortable. Excellent location in the Publix plaza. A bit pricey ($143 for color and cut and that was with a $30 discount). That said, I am still getting compliments on my hair weeks later. The old adage is true. You get what you pay for. Today I wandered into Jon Ric for a mani pedi , lured in by a sign in front advertising a special price of $35 with Samantha. I assumed Samantha was new or just learning so my expectations were low. Frankly my expectations are always low for mani pedi's in the area because I've never had a good one! As a result I go from salon to salon in search of , not a perfect experience but I'm happy with a decent one. Wow! Was I pleasantly surprised! Samantha is a pro and really knows her stuff! Who knew there was so much to learn about nails and cuticles? I sure didn't! Most of my previous mani pedi's were over and done with in about a 1/2 hour. Even when I've splurged for upgrades. Samantha spent over an hour and a half meticulously painting and pampering me all the while keeping up a very pleasant conversation. I will wander no more for I have found THE place and more importantly THE person to do my nails from now on. Thank you!! read more

Love this salon! Tara Rando has been doing my hair for the past six months and I have never been disappointed. I drive all the way from Lake Mary to have her do my hair and it's always a treat. The salon is beautiful and I'm always greeted with a glass of wine when I come through the door. They have an amazing staff other than Tara as well, if I need a mani or pedi in addition to my hair they always have a nail tech available for me. They also have some awesome promos that Tara has started, Saturday's Go Out Blow Out is my fave! They offer $10 off wash and style for the weekend.
