Last week I realized I needed two tires l, so the first place I thought of was Nashville Warehouse, of course! So I called on a Wednesday, gave the specifications of the tires I needed, and announced my intentions to bring my car in Saturday morning. He said that was fine. I took a half day off work and brought my car in at 7:30 AM Saturday morning as promised. The kind person at the counter said they may not have the tires I need and the warehouse is closed on Saturdays. I said "Oh, don't worry, the tires are here. I called ahead and ordered them." Nope, tires weren't there, and I lost $150 in salary because I took time off. So I decided to give them one more chance, because I love this place. I called today and this time, the man told me the warehouse is closed Saturday so he'll need to order the tires for me. Now we're getting somewhere. So he put me on hold............30 minutes later, still on hold, I gave up. During my next break at work, I called again. A nice lady answered and took down the specifications of the tires I needed. Third time is a charm. Oh wait... the business closes in 10 minutes so instead of shutting down their computers at 5:00 PM when they close, they shut them down at about 4:50. Call back tomorrow. Arrrrrggghhhh!!! My tires are practically bald and I'll have an accident by the time my favorite tire place gets these tires for me!!! I'm going to lose my mind!

The business moved to 606 Fesslers Lane but have the same number. When I arrived the owner shook mine and my wife's hand. After inspecting the truck, I was given a price (which I thought was fair) and was told the work would be completed that day. After only about 2 hours, they were done with the service and I was back on the road ready to take in Broadway street. Everyone at the shop was polite and helpful-they even took us into the bay to physcially show us the problem. I'm glad I was able to find this shop. Although I hope to not have to use them again, I know where to take my vehicle if there's a problem the next time I'm in Nashville.

I'd see IM&H while driving up and down Gallatin so looked them up and popped in. Hear me know friends-believe the hype and good vibes dropped by previous sweet citizens who stopped in for their auto needs. The shop is clean, the staff is friendly and depending on the crowd you can get in and out super quick. My total time in the shop had to be less than 40 minutes, and I enjoyed some friendly banter with the shop owner and a Crane Operator from AL who was getting his truck taken care of in the other bay. Fast Forward a couple of days I I heard some rattling from the undercarriage. I stopped back by and the guys took care of a heat shield that had come lose. A quick spot weld and I was on my way-no charge! These guys are great, you won't be disappointed. I recommend them fully.

The "waiting room," if you want to call it that, is an old car bench seat in the office, and you might have to share that with the resident dog. Their location isn't high traffic or convenient. It's out of town, next to a rock quarry and where they park the school buses in Franklin. They don't do any fancy ads or claim any special promos, and if you need a shuttle - you might have to arrange that in conjunction with school schedules and who is doing the lunch run. But if you want a trustworthy mechanic, who earns a fair and honest living for himself and his employees, but isn't driving a big fancy car and living in a McMansion, then this is your place. Hubby and I have had work done on each of our cars over the years, and I've referred several local friends over the years, and have never been disappointed. Friendly people, fair pricing, updates via phone; however, once I saw my vehicle, I was utterly disappointed. Upon inspecting my car I found: 1- Thick layer of dust covering the inside dash, steering wheel, and floor mats 2- Trash inside the vehicle (wax pen, plastic floor mat covers) 3- Misaligned fender 4- Missing R and L hinge covers (they took the drivers side one off to match although drivers side was not worked on) 5- Hollow sounding door upon closure 6- Failed to inform me that the some paint protective film would need to be removed. Vehicle returned without it The tech who returned my vehicle to me had said he worked on nine cars in 7 hours, and was "sorry that the car had not been dried nor the plastic floor mat covers removed." I had taken the car back several weeks later to attempt to have these issues fixed. Some of the issues were fixed; however, the missing hinge covers and hollow sounding door remained. The owner himself even worked on my car and couldn't properly diagnose the door issue! When expressing my dissatisfaction with the work the owner said "there's nothing more I can do, cars are just big tin cans." I ended up taking the car to another auto body shop and they diagnosed and corrected the problem within MINUTES! Now my car is as good as new! To Walter Colson and employees: PLEASE treat your customers vehicles like your own. I take great pride in my vehicle and was SO SO SO disheartened to see it treated and returned in this state. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE if you care about your vehicle at all!!!
