This was one of the worst contractor experiences I've ever had. From the moment he arrived, he jumped out of the truck and immediately asked, "Where do you want it?" without introducing himself or discussing the job. The finished product was unacceptable. The pad had to be poured in two sections, leaving a visibly crooked seam because he tried to cut corners. The slab was also not level, leaving a low spot where water now collects. Instead of correcting it, he actually tried to convince me that installing the pad out of level would make the job easier. The professionalism was equally disappointing. He repeatedly complained under his breath, including saying, "I don't wanna hear nothing from this guy," while working in front of me. At one point he parked with his truck idling directly in front of my shop, blowing exhaust fumes inside until I asked him to move. They urinated behind my trailer, leaving a strong urine odor, and left pizza crusts, water bottles, and other trash scattered around instead of cleaning the work area. After previously agreeing to accept a credit card, he demanded cash payment at the end of the job and then failed to provide a receipt. When he finished, he didn't review the work or say a word--he simply got in his truck and drove away. The concrete pad now requires repair, and because of this experience, Pernell Shoulars Jr. has been formally trespassed from my property and is not welcome to return. I will be hiring another contractor to correct the work. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. A Google search revealed this... The owner, Pernell Shoulars, was arrested by the N.C. Department of Insurance on felony charges of obtaining property by false pretense and failure to perform work after payment. He was investigated for taking thousands of dollars in downpayments and failing to complete the promised concrete work or return the funds.

Caulking was smeared on the brand new flooring and epoxy spots are everywhere on the flooring. It took us days to hunt down and scrub up all of the sticky spots and epoxy off of our counter tops. They completely ruined our kitchen chairs with epoxy. We didn't bother calling them because just basic phone conversations to confirm our appointments were a hassle. The women who handles our area was inherently rude and confrontational for no reason. Don't give these people your money! You'll regret it!

Apparently, the dealership doesn't do glass or body work so they sent me to Metz whom they work with regularly. Being miffed I wasn't initially going to go over there, but decided against it and drove down the road to see when I could get the car in. It turned out they had the part in stock because another individual was having his replaced later in the week. They offered to do it right then and there. They even dropped me off and picked me up from the mall while I waited the two hours for the repair to be done. Bonus that it cost $100 less than an estimate I had gotten from another BMW dealership. Overall, great customer service and a good experience.
