When our daughter arrived for her appointment today, she was told that they do not accept no-fault insurance, and the office apologized for giving us the wrong information. We then asked if she could simply be seen under our private health insurance, and we were willing to pay out of pocket if necessary. Unfortunately, Dr. Massengill refused to treat her and apparently did not want anything to do with the appointment because it had originally been scheduled as a no-fault visit. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of willingness to find a solution. We were prepared to use our private insurance or pay ourselves, yet our daughter was still turned away when she was in desperate need of treatment. I understand that medical practices have financial and insurance policies, but patients should not be treated as if they are just a billing issue. In our experience, the focus seemed to be on how the office would get paid rather than on helping the patient. There are plenty of doctors who understand that patient care should come first and the financial details can be worked out afterward. Unfortunately, based on our experience today, Dr. Massengill was not one of them. Extremely disappointing.

I called when I got there as that's protocol with the whole pandemic. They have hand sanitizer and of course a mask is a must. Wait was not that long. The doctor I saw Caitlin ( who I never met) was very Thorough and great. She looked in my sinuses and told me what I need to do going forward. She suggested another antibiotic as I've had sinus infection for 2 weeks now and also Blood work to be done and then a Cat Scan that I scheduled. When I go back in March, I will see Dr Gordon and after my results we will go from there. If you suffer from sinuses like I do, this ENT Facility is definitely the place to visit. They are very nice and understanding. I'm glad I finally went back!

He even said, while handing it to me "Here's something for you." only to go and bill my insurance for it! Not only did I already have one and never claimed to need a new one - but I could have gotten it at my pharmacy for no cost if I did need one. Negatives: Too many to even capture them all. Extreme wait time before we made it into the actual ER. Ridiculous bathroom situation. Basically a powder room for all patients on the floor. Blood line was not closed and we spilled blood all over the restroom. I informed Nurses station - restroom never cleaned and blood on floor every subsequent restroom visit. Paper towels not replaced over several hours. No regular maintenance. Placed in small room next to a patient who had at least 8 people trying to do a painful procedure on the other side of a curtain. Specimans left out on counter for hours. What's HIPPA? No one ever asked if we needed any food or water even through we were there for 7 hours. No one clearly in charge. Complete mayhem and so disapointing.
