It's basically a strip mall but it seems like it's about two miles long and twice the size in every regard to any normal strip mall. Make that 10 times the size than most of them. It's magical but watch out for the crazy drivers, and I really do mean crazy, especially by Katy standards, although pretty normal by Houston standards.

It's clean and nice and has a cool Russian grocery store, and some little places that we like to check out now and then. You can actually take a train all around the Katy Mills Mall Food Court, if you're like, 3. I'm not sure why, but they have this little kiddie train that takes you all around the food court, choo choo! Choo Choo! So I feel like sooner or later a 4 year old will get hit by it even though it's pretty slow moving. A little treacherous I would say, and I wonder if anyone's ever got a smackdown from it. It's still pretty cool and unique, and definitely reminds you which mall you are in, and it's one of the signature things in this food court, especially with the little train whistle that keeps going off. Makes me feel like we're in the Mall Of America. But Katy has a long way to go to reach that level. A lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng ass way.
