Had a great initial in person conversation with the manager and she told us to ask for her when we made an appointment. Made an appointment twice. Both times, said manager ended up not being there on the day she promised to be there. They even claimed to not have our appointment, even though I had an email and text confirmation. When another associate "helped" us instead, he could not give a straight answer on anything. (ie. "Do you have an exact matching tie to this suit, yes or no?" He would say yes and then say no.) Overall very disappointed and will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

The salesman was very helpful. He answered all of my questions and was very patient. The tailor was also very kind and helpful. Wasn't too happy to realize that Jos A Bank is owned by the same people that own Men's Warehouse. Those people have turned it into more of a "for profit" business cutting the out the "High quality customer service" side of it. Shareholders only want the money. You need to get it back providing higher quality customer service that can't be gotten anywhere else. Jos A Bank is no better than fast food that is on every street corner. read more

I was greeted when I entered the store and the store representative was very helpful throughout the process. He politely answered my questions and accepted my feedback. He seemed to work with me to get the suite that I wanted. I was impressed with the overall service I received. Plus, the clothes and material are quality. I deducted a star because I waited two plus weeks and was never told my alterations were ready. They should have called or emailed me to let me know I can come pick up my items. I shouldn't have to call them and follow up. Overall, pleased with my experience. read more

I generally get my clothes at Jos. A. Bank at The Woodlands Mall (2nd level near the Dillard's entrance). Prices and quality are pretty reasonable. There are plenty of competitors where I could buy my clothes but I keep going back to Jos. A. Bank at The Woodlands Mall to buy my clothes for only one reason: I trust Timothy Cheek. read more

We have had the BEST service from here. The first time, we were greeted right away and we were able to get two custom suits for a great price. 2 weeks later, we get great service again when we went back to have the suits tailored. Mr. Steve was patient, and very helpful especially since we are suit novices. My fiancee looks amazing, so much so that when I saw him in his new suit it took my breath away. read more

Jos A Bank in The Woodlands Mall. Ask for Soleil for tuxedo rental. She is very good at showing all the packages that the store can offer. she gave me a discount, the stockings, and a square pocket for free. It takes a while to take action, but she did a good job. read more

Great selection of fine men's garments with a touch of custom suit service. I went in on a busy Saturday in flip flops and swim trunks and received great service when the low lifes at Macy's wouldn't give me the time of day. Within minutes I was greeted by Michael Farrell who gave me some great ideas for shirt/ tie combos for work and what would be ideal given what my career is or what kind of statement I wanted to make. While he was helping me, multiple customers came in and knew him by name and had questions about certain garments. Not only did he make me feel as though I was the #1 customer, he also helped them out promptly without making me feel as though any of us were of priority over another. Awesome! I had the best experience today at The Woodlands location - plenty of staff available, ample selection, even for my very tall, slim son. We worked with James and could not be more pleased with the service. He took the time to really assess our needs, and helped my son put together a full ensemble that he actually really likes (not an easy task with an 18 year old). James went out of his way to help us take advantage of sales promotions, special ordered a pair of shoes, and really educated my son on some of the details of selecting suits, trousers, etc. We will be back, and cannot recommend Joseph A Bank and James highly enough. read more

Yesterday was my daughter's wedding. Everything went off without a problem except the tuxes from Joseph A. Bank, The Woodlands Mall. The grooms mother sat and waited a very long time to pick up the tuxes without anyone speaking to her. Then, the groomsman, who had gone in for a fitting, went to put on their tuxes. That was when it really went south. The junior groomsman's pants were too short; the next groomsman's pants would not come over his thighs; and another's pants were droopy. This is sad for a company who is hailed as one of the best. You are slipping and you need to revamp the customer service techniques at this store. Very sad. read more

My husband and I were in recently shopping for his dress attire. We left with a very negative experience. The store was not busy on this day at all. We found it very hard to get any help. There were several sales associates standing around with one on his cell phone. Each time my husband wanted to try on a different size or style we had to go find it ourself as our assigned sales person was no where to be found. We will not be returning to this location and hope that other locations are better. read more

Had a great experience at this location. The Mgr, Michael, took personal care of home himself. They didn't have my size in a suit - he searched the whole store, and when we could find it, he ordered it online. You could tell he was genuine in his efforts to serve. No attitude at all (which sadly, I've experienced a smugness as some locations) I will be going solely to this location from now on! read more

Awful customer service. 4 associates stood talking to each other and a 5th was roaming the store. Once someone did ask if we needed help....that lasted about 2 minutes. Management has a lot of work to do....we were ready to spend some $. Giving 1 star because I couldn't give 0. read more

I have long shopped at the Jos Banks on Carondelet Street in New Orleans, there you received first name service, even knew who I was by voice on the phone calls.... nice service. Here I recently purchased a suit and the during the fitting they sized the coat without buttoning it. Then the tailors were going on vacation for a month, so my choice was bring it somewhere else or wait 30 days plus. I guess if you are buying one suit, you are not important at this store. I took the suit elsewhere who did a proper fitting. I feel I must apologize to the store for taking their time to sell me a suit. I would advise caution about the Woodlands Mall Jos. A. We tried Jos A. Banks for the first time at the Woodlands Mall location. My husband had an event to attend and chose them over our usual suit place, Dillard's. They were understaffed and running around. Barely anyone to ask for help. Found the suit we wanted and the guy pinning the pants for the tailor did not know what he was doing. Went to pick up suit and the pants were about two to three inches too short for my husband. They kept suit and fixed pants luckily in time for event. At the event someone pointed out the seam on my husbands shoulder of his new $500.00 suit had a hole in it. Very embarrassing. Brought suit back for the second repair. They ordered a whole new jacket before my husband flew out for a business trip. While packing for the trip, cutting off tags and opening pockets notice sleeves did not have the buttons sewn on! Could not take suit on trip and I returned suit for the third time. The manager did apologize and said former employee who pinned the pants cuffs was no longer there. Said that I would be used as a learning experience and that maybe I should have checked the sleeves for the buttons too! Also, explained or in my words complained at how busy all of their employees are and how many things they have to check and are very overwhelmed. Never once did he offer me any type of store credit or gift card for all of my trouble. Needless to say, I will NEVER shop here again and all I can say is Buyer Beware! Back to Dillard's read more

I went to Jos. A Bank under the promise that I would have a better experience there than I've had at a Men's Warehouse or other similar place. Being of the mind that good service is worth something, I thought I'd give them a try. I was searching for a formal suit or tux for my upcoming wedding. The attendant was helpful in getting me set up with a variety of books to look through to see what was available- if not just the slightest bit distracting by insisting that I hold a conversation with him. However, I was incensed when I was chastised by the manager for snapping pics of the catalog and sending them to my fiancee who was at work. Please tell me what Jos A. Bank thinks I'm going to do with 3 hasty iPhone snaps of their precious little catalogue? I was sending them over to her so she could help me choose. Anyway, after that uncomfortable transaction, the salesman kept trying to push me into trying out a standard tux after I had already made it clear that I wasn't after the modern look. I asked for a moment to peruse the store and he showed me to the section that had suit jackets in my size. Then, I received a response from my fiancee and when I pulled my phone to read it, the manager on duty sent the salesperson over ONCE AGAIN to inform me that I was not allowed to take pictures of anything inside their store. SALE LOST. I am outraged over this kind of thing. First off, get your facts right Jos. A Bank store, secondly, what are you hiding? What's so precious in the store that will cause you issue if it leaks out? I mean, you have a PUBLIC WEBSITE with ALL OF your clothing pictured and prices listed! Ridiculous! read more

Well, it used to be good. I have mad many items from here over the last 15 yrs, but have been purchasing less and less due to the continual decline of their products. First it was their shirts which progressively declined with cheaper & thinner fabrics. Then it was their trousers which are now have such an average cut that the fit hardly anyone properly. Well, I can say that today was my last visit ever since the service now appears to have also gone out the window. Was treated rather rudely, like I had no idea what I was talking about since I was wearing a t shirt & jeans. Do I need to wear a suit to buy a suit? read more
