The items are the same quality as the regular store, but at a much lower cost. A brand new J. Crew Factory store just opened last week in West Hartford's Corbin's Corner. The store has a great layout, and plenty of great summer pieces, for men, women and children. Most of the store is currently on sale for 40 - 50% off. Since this store is brand new, the exterior is still under construction, but It's what's on the inside that matters. The sales associates are friendly and answered all my questions. I've already been here twice since they opened last week. I'm glad to have a factory store nearby now. It's a good idea to come in frequently as new stock comes in often.

Not only was the store clean and organized, but we were able to find so many great items for both my husband and our 3 year old son. I was elated to find several matching shirts for them to wear over the summer, which I look forward to seeing them in together. Prices were great and having the teacher discount on top of it was excellent. When we went up to the register, the young lady behind the counter (Lauren A) was patient as we troubleshooted which email my J.Crew account was linked to. We ended up sharing some small talk about my husband and I being educators and she was very sweet in engaging about our jobs, summer break, and which grade levels we worked with. She was so positive and genuinely happy/helpful. This wasn't exclusive just to us either. We overheard similar interactions with her and other customers in line before we approached. She was just a kind person, who seemed dedicated to her job. We will definitely return!

To be honest I'm surprised this store is still standing, there are so many competitors to the left and to the right of it, and the prices are shockingly high. Why is a basic cotton t-shirt $44.99 on CLEARANCE? The quality has gone downhill and the prices are higher than ever before. Worst of all, their style has not evolved to the current times. There were no shoppers to boot! The kids section might be where the gems are. They need to adjust a few factors if they'd like to stay active in this very competitive marketplace.

I shop her once in awhile and I've always loved the store and staff. However after today, I will…read morenot be going back. My husband and I were looking for Funko Pops and MHA merchandise. The Pops were disorganized and so he started moving them to see what was behind. When he did, an employee behind the register yelled at him not to move them because they were organized. When he explained that there were others behind it, she said it was because of customers moving them. We immediately left. Yelling at another customer who is browsing in front of other customers rather than coming over to ask if we need help is completely unprofessional. Blaming customers for a disorganized shelf in front of other customers is also unprofessional. I've worked in retail myself, and this is not the behavior an employee should exhibit, especially when they comment is blatantly untrue.

I stopped at the Loft store at Westfarms, I asked the man working there if he could help me find them. He was so helpful, he looked all over the store for me, he talked to the other associates, he did a store search online, he looked in the back room twice, sadly they didn't have the pants. I didn't even ask him to do all this, it was all in his effort and wonderful customer service. And it was a very busy day in the store, yet he was still dedicated in finding these pants for me. The staff here are very nice and they remember you! You are greeted by everyone of them and asked whether you need help. Although could be a little annoying but they are extremely helpful. But being in a mall where the store isn't too big plus the customer crowd is large, it makes it even more difficult to find these rare sizes. I am…read morepostpartum so naturally I am not looking to spend a lot since my body is changing, so I went to the sales rack and chose a tank top. When I told her that's what I'll be getting, she gave me the snarkiest attitude. Then I'm waiting on the line to check out, and my baby is bawling. The cashier is busy with someone else and Jill is just standing there two feet next to me, not bothering to complete my transaction so I leave and tend to my baby. Not a care in the world. Then when it's my turn, I ask the cashier if there's anything they can do about the deodorant stain on the tank top, and she asks Jill. Jill said if I don't take it, she will "damage it out." I don't know what that means, and she looks at me like I'm an idiot. At this point, I have had it with Jill and I decided I'm not paying for a stained tank top, especially when she's not even bothering to wipe it off for me, so I say that I actually won't take it. She rolls her eyes and I walk out. I turn around and see her wiping off the stain so she puts it back on the rack. So you couldn't do that for me when I wanted it? And so you were lying when you said you were going to damage it out? Lastly, I ask her if I can pass on my $10 birthday reward to someone else on the line and she gives me some made up answer about how it's my account and not theirs - okay so why can't you process my discount for theirs? You just put in the promo code and that's it. She was so awful that I never want to step foot in White House again.
