It was amazing, in a desperate, scary way! He said I needed to get eight crowns done IMMEDIATELY and he definitely tried to scare me into capitulating. Meanwhile, my two kids were treated with sealants on teeth that DON'T NORMALLY get sealants - this is dishonest! Of course, we had to pay up, over $300 worth. I refused crown work for myself and found a GREAT DENTIST in the Plaza in Kansas City, Dr. Gary Morgan. We've since moved from the area but in the intervening six years, I have not needed a single crown.

Never offered me the opportunity for a tooth implant. They pulled the two good teeth on the upper part front of my mouth. They put in the permanent bridge and low and behold they didn't scan it iright and when they put it in I was able to push air between the gym line and bridge with no resistance what do ever. So everytime I talked I the whisp noise because of the gap. The dentist had the nerve to tell me that my gums were deteriorating due to age. I only had the bridge in for 3 weeks. They finally agreed to fix it. However there was ne need for the extreme measures and cost to take out my 3 top front teeth when I'm the only one is chipped. I will be keeping a eye out for him to see if he reopens or practices again. I will slap him with a malpractice suit

Dr. Taylor Sutherland is also one of the nicest dentists I have seen in my 70 plus years on this earth. Her concern for her patients is remarkable and she has a way of making you feel like you are special even when you are being a little challenging. In response to some of the previous reviews regarding payment of dental services, I would like to say that several times when I was given an estimnated cost of service, the actual fees were less than originally stated. I was not asked to pay the original amount and then wait for a refund. I was asked to pay the adjusted amount (which was a nice surpirse to pay less than anticipated.) As a senior citizen, I would recommend Dr. Moore and Dr. Tayhlor Sutherland to anyone who needs a little extra patience when having dental work performed.

I've had braces as child. I had them on for almost 5 years. That was close to 20 years ago. As a 36…read moreyear old female, my teeth had shifted a bit and a small gap had opened up in the very front on the top arch. It was very obvious! I had an awesome smile for 20 years and couldn't imagine going through the rest of my life with a gap in the very front. With that thought, I decided to get braces again. Or so I thought... I had called around to at least 10 orthodontics office's in the Kansas City Metropolitan area and I had gone into more than several for consultations. I figured I'd need braces on the 6 teeth in the front. EVERY SINGLE ORTHO I called and went into for a consult, I was informed that they wouldn't do just the top arch. This meant that every Ortho wanted to put a full set of braces on even though the bottom arch didn't need them, but they refused to do just the top. As soon as I was given that information the appointment or phone call was over. There was no way I'd spend that kind of money on something I didn't need. I received estimates for a full set of braces at all of these businesses before leaving their office. The most I was quoted was $6,100.00 and the least was $3,400.00. The least amount was even for Invisiline Express. It blew my mind that a supposed "reputable" company would take advantage of a possible future patient like that. So, I kept calling around to get quotes, right? I came across an Orthodontics office called Hannah Orthodontics located in Shawnee, Kansas. I was excited after I called them for the first time. They informed me that they offered several solutions for individuals who had braces as a child but needed help as an adult. I made an appointment for the next day. Their office was clean, the staff was soooo kind & informative and the office had just been remodeled. I went through the appointment expecting to shell out about $2,000.00 for braces and another year of my life in braces. Dr. Hannah came into the exam room, looked at the x-rays and did an exam. He then informed me that it'd take about 6 months and ONLY cost $300.00. He recognized my top arch was the only thing that needed work and here's the best part... He could shift my teeth back into place using the traditional retainer!! I was so floored with that information that I started to tear up a bit. It's a bit embarrassing, I know, but to find an Ortho who wasn't in the business to take advantage of a patient was incredible! So, in the end, it cost me $300.00 and that includes the office visits I need to go back for so they can adjust the retainer. I'm now in a top retainer and my gap has started to close a month into wearing them. I would go to this business over and over and will recommend it to anyone looking for a great smile. Hardly any wait, and greeted with a smile EVERY TIME. Anyone who gives this office less than four to five stars, clearly has a loose screw somewhere. I have been to many dentists, and this is the #1 as far as friendliness and service. No billing issues. As a matter of fact, they will not do a service without confirming your cost BEFORE the service on an iPad! While you are still in your chair! You have to agree to anything insurance will not cover!! So, the other 1 star review is bogus as well!
