We also got the pea hummus brioche (all the brioches looked delicious), which was the most buttery and soft texture. Lastly, my favorite was the carrot hazelnut cake with cashew cream, topped with blueberries and a gooseberry. Had an embarrassing incident here in which I accidentally knocked a drink on what looked like an empty table. I gave a few euros for the drink and apologized to the customer. The owner had seen the incident and kindly gave me a free cup of coffee, which he did not have to do. Admitted the incident left me mortified and wanting to leave the cafe quickly. I hope to revisit Salzburg one day and go to the cafe again to have a proper visit. I will be more careful about watching where I walk next time.
