This doctor should retire honestly, I bought ny 2 1/2 HEALTHY German shepherd dog in for a routine spay in March 2025 this was after a well visit in January 2025, after dropping her and waiting for a call for pick up I received a call from Dr Nebrzydoski stating " your dog is dead" I asked if this was a joke and he repeated no " your dog is dead" Upon picking up my dog the front desk was rude which was an ongoing theme there and the doctor could not explain what happened or answer any of my questions or even try to speculate a possible complication that led to my dogs death, the only clear thing he stated was " all my techs are licensed" leading me to believe that a huge mistake was made and that's why I encountered lack of compassion and apology. For a vet who has been treating animals for decades you would think he would have an answer or a shred of empathy. Per the perfect OR report there should have been zero complications on a routine spay. There were also 2 doctors in the room at the time , the other doctor did not have the decency to show face and express any sympathy. They did not offer assistance to help me get my beloved Gracie to my vehicle and I had to carry my deceased dog to my vehicle in the dead of winter in the Catskills and have an excavator dig a grave for her. I would give zero stars if I could. My puppy was taken in yesterday to be spayed, a standard procedure. She was a little over 4 months old and as part of our adoption agreement with the Sullivan SPCA we were required to have her spayed and they used this vet. The procedure was part of the adoption fee that we paid. We dropped her off in the morning and received a call later in the day that our puppy, Izzy, died. The chances of death during a routine spaying are like .1%, but our girl is gone. She was the greatest dog and we love her so much. When my husband called the vet to find out what happened we were told the procedure went fine, but she later had strokes or a blood clot and they did everything they could. He wanted to drive the hour to see our Izzy and make sure it was her, and take her body back to bury her in her yard, and they told us we couldn't see her or have her because she is still the property of the SPCA. We paid our adoption fee and we raised her, did everything we needed to under our adoption agreement. She's ours! We also had an issue when we first brought Izzy home in April. She had horrible diarrhea from the day she came home and was underweight. So we contacted the SPCA about a week after when it didn't go away and they had us bring her back for treatment from this vet. They said she had giardia and gave us about 4 days of liquid medicine. She wasn't getting any better after taking the meds so we ended up taking her to our own vet. We found out she actually had coccidia and we got the right meds to treat and cure her. I don't know if it's because our dog was an adoption through the SPCA and they aren't getting paid enough by the SPCA, but they didn't care about our baby. They were heartless when speaking about her death and they seemed to not want to treat her illness when she was a little baby. Don't go to this awful place! read more

Dr. Joe is the best! We were very anxious about having our little pug Emmylou's teeth cleaned as she would need to be anesthetized and my last pug had died recovering from anesthesia. Not only did Emmy come out of her long overdue cleaning with no problems at all, she was able to be released early so that the 2 hour drive back to the city could happen in daylight. The staff (Cassie) and Dr. Joe were very kind and professional throughout, the offices are adorably decorated. It was a pure pleasure. In spite of being 2 hours away we will consider Dr. Joe our primary vet from here on out. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. BlueEyes! Wishing you all the very best. I have used Dr. Nebzydoski for over 25 years. Shame on you bad reviewers who obviously do not know who he is as a vet!! Dr. Joe has Has always gone out of his way to give my pets the best care!!! He has even met me in the office off hours when my dog was suffering from an emaergency!! My animals are spoiled rotten and mean the world to me. I would not use anyone else!! If I could give this place zero stars I would. I do NOT recommend this vet to anyone getting kittens fixed. This place fixed my kittens and refused to give them any pain meds. The receptionist was extremely rude. I also witnessed, while in the waiting room, the doctor telling a woman her dog had teeth removed and a bad infection after surgery just to find out he mixed up the dogs. Her dog was fine!! Dr. Joseph Nebzydoski is an absolutely fantastic vet! He has been practicing more years then I've been alive and he genuinely knows his stuff. Living in Brooklyn I bought my pets to many vets who were all about the money with no compassion about the animals whatsoever. This is not the case whatsoever with Dr. Nebzydoski, you can tell he genuinely cares. I'm thankful to live so close and that he's available 24 hours a day in an emergency! Having that peace of mind, if something unforeseen happens is absolutely priceless. His staff is absolutely awesome as well! Extremely knowledgeable! My 7 month old pup went in for a retained puppy tooth extraction. 14 day later she died of Parvo, and infected my home and a litter of pups that I had / she had been on antibiotics for 10 days from the dental surgery. She began to vomit two days after the meds were done I brought her in , he said she had a bad reaction to the meds and gave me anti nausea and another antibiotic , Several hrs after that visit she died. He did not hydrate her while she was there which would have probably saved her life . He asked me to bring her in for a necropsy. He old me there was nothing wrong internally and tested her stool and said she tested positive for parvo . I was shocked ,all my dogs were vaccinated including this pup . He told me he hadn't had a case of parvo in twenty years. I subsequently found out that was a lie, from folks from the local shelter that he services. This incident was heartbreaking to say the least and cost me a fortune in vet fees saving the litter I had at home. If he had not lied to me I could have understood things happen. But he would not stand behind the exposure and would not help me with the ensuing vet fees. If you are a breeder , stay far away from this dr , the risk is too high. read more

A few years ago my dog ate a rock....yup it got stuck in his small intestine and he needed emergency surgery. Dr. Nebzydowski opened his office on Labor Day and he (and I think his wife) saved my crazy dogs life. Hes wonderful! read more

My Golden Retriever Daisy was not her usual self this morning. Very anxious and when I took her outside she feverishly had to urinate several times. I was very worried, so I left a message for Dr Nebzydoski at the Youngsville Vet Clinic. Dr Nebzydoski called me within 15 minutes on a Sunday and told me what I needed to do to make Daisy feel better. We have always used the Youngsville Clinic with all of our pets, this was the 1st time we had an emergency, it makes me feel good that they are there 24/7 when our pets need them. This veterinarian is an extraordinary person, extremely considerate, and the one we would like to have always be our pets' main veterinarian (we live in different places also, and must keep a vet in each place). He is helpful and hard-working and cooperative when you're in trouble and will go the extra mile to assist you. Travelers especially international ones know how difficult it is to get all the documents ready to transport pets overseas, and this veterinarian will be there for you when the going gets tough. This vet is the best even by NYC standards. They are experts on all sorts of animals, from horses to lap dogs. The facility is spotless, the staff is very knowledgable and helpful. They even have evening hours so you can bring your pet after work or on your way up from NYC. The doctor spayed our toy poodle and the incision was so small that other surgeons were amazed. I needed papers faxed to NY and they were on top of it right away. And they are inexpensive. read more

I drive up from Manhattan to take my dog to Dr. Nebzydowski. Instead of hundreds of dollars in diagnostic tests leaving me with choices that would cost me thousands and no support not to make them I've experienced more of an old time practice where diagnosis was a tug on my dogs leg and the recommendation was for an anti-inflammatory instead of $5K in surgery for my older dog. For me that is worth the trip. read more

His prices are good better than Dr. Maur in Monticello, NY but the staff do not have good customer service, example when you walk in, rude staff do not bother to greet you with a hello. And if your dog is a barker you can tell from their facial expressions that they are annoyed. When I took my pup there to be spayed his staff (a young women) just drug my dog by his leash to the back. Very unfriendly and because of that I will not be going back to them. read more
