But based on how rude the front desk person is, I'm choosing to take my business elsewhere. There are plenty of other dentists in the area to choose from. I'd recommend you shop around and see how they treat you at the front desk. It's very telling of how your experience will be from there forward. The front desk woman at this place is one of those fantastic non-educated, class-lacking rude people that you see all those hilarious IG videos about them (like the people that work at the DMV, the post office, and medical offices). The kind of employees that think they are god and can make all the rules for how your experience will go. If you dare to challenge their archaic practices (like them REFUSING to help you get a copy of your proper dentist's records -- most practices will help you via a form they send to your old doc to request your record, you just need to sign off on the release form), the rude way they talk to you, the ridiculous hoops for you to jump through, you are seen as a "miserable person" and they will call you such in their response to your review. Lol if I was a guy challenging the way this front desk lady operated, I would be seen as "attempting to set better business practices" by calling out the poor experience. But since I'm a woman, naturally the "powers that be" at this place paint me as a Karen. Whatever. I'm glad to be a Karen if it means I can call out this place for having a horribly unhelpful, rude, and miserable front desk person. I'm sitting here enjoying the hilarious IG videos that depict this same person and how she treats patients. If you are considering going to this office, be prepared. If you are ok with being treated this way, more power to you. For me? They worked with my permanent dentist to get my records and films and precheck my insurance so that I had a ballpark on my out of pocket costs.
