Update: 3/19/25 At the time my remodel was being done, the bathroom tile floor wasn't finished. Joseph came in and finished installing the carpet in one day (exceptional job as my initial review states). However my bathroom floor tile contractor was lagging behind. Therefore a 1/4 inch gap still remained, which Joseph spoke to my contractor about and coached him on what to do. Anyhow, Joseph agreed to come back in the future to "tuck in the carpet underneath the tile" to make it nice and seamless with a super smooth transition. Seriously, he did a phenomenal job and totally made the transition smooth, looks seamless, and feels great! No need for a transition piece... it looks amazing! I'm so happy! I was looking for someone to change my parents' 40 year old and stained carpet in their stairs and hallway. On the day of installation, they were very meticulous with their work and carefully removed my parents' old and disintegrating padding. Joe came in and gave us a reasonable quote to replace our carpets - he stopped in and dropped us a few samples and after a bit of pricing them out, ordered accordingly. I submitted my job request on yelp ~7pm and heard back from Joseph within 5 min. We got on the phone that night, so he could get a sense of the dimension of the room, and discussed options of carpet he has in stock. The next morning, we met at the property at 9am (he showed up 15 min early) and brought carpet samples for me and my wife to see and feel. Additionally, I also stopped by home depot and found his quoted carpet price is at least $2 cheaper/per sq ft than similar ones there. Absolutely Impressed with the recent installation of new flooring. Joe, and team worked effectively, even with a window installation team to also work around. I had a crude idea of what I wanted, and got a lot of help from Joe to find the better than I imagined selections. After we discussed my wants, he brought enough samples for me to find my choices. I had existing hardwood in the majority of the house, but wanted something different/durable to complete the connecting living room(a darker laminate), and for the entryway(linoleum-faux tile). Joe and his crew put in laminate floors in two of our bedrooms yesterday. He arrived promptly when he said he would. He said it might take two days to complete but he did the job in one day because he brought extra crew. The real highlight was probably how thorough he was. It was very obvious that quality and customer satisfaction was the most important thing to Joe. When sawing was done inside one of the crew was operating a vacuum right next to the saw. Frequent sweeping kept the inside quite clean. A previous alignment problem, not of Joe's doing, was corrected without asking. The room was previously carpeted. Consequently the baseboards would no longer line up when the laminate replaced the carpet. We could have used 1/4" round molding to hide the gap, but he talked us into removing and reinstalling the baseboards. I was afraid of breakage, but nothing broke and baseboards went on where they should. He caulked afterwords. My wife and I are very happy with the results. Thanks Joe and crew. read more
