He is the best. I had problem with foot pain about 5-7 years ago. He jokes about but takes treatment, care and pain seriously. Very good!

I would like to make this clear this review is only with the way they bill things. It is very…read moreunclear on how this works. I had surgery and follow up visits and the doctors and nurses were great but the way this facility bills is crazy. The department bill separately and collect separately. We were only made aware of this by time my surgery bill would have been sent to collections. The surgery billing department was more than unpleasant to deal with even the supervisor. Never was told about payment plans but they were more than willing to take money monthly until they put us into collections. Hard lesson learned but the willingness to help out in a simple misunderstanding is unfortunate.

I'm very disappointed with the services and approach to customers of this medical entity for 3…read morefactors. (1) Saw the Ortho Illinois doctor the first time and they recommended MRI right away without much examination or exploration of my injury. It appears they either heavily rely on MRI due to lack of knowledge/ experiences or it's a business protocol/ process by sending patients to MRI from the start. No recommendation as what I need to do meantime to reduce/ minimize/ prevent the pain!!! (2) The Ortho MRI department called me constantly non-stop (2-3 times a week) wanting me to come in for MRI...even after I told them I will call them back when I can schedule it as it 's non-urgent matter. (3) I felt much much improved (almost normal) after 1-2 months without any help/ advice from the doctor but I still went for the MRI to ensure everything is good. Took the MRI and went in to see the doctor and the doctor opened the conversation by telling me I need a surgery due to one of the issues he saw on the MRI report as it will create an issue in a looooooong term. He did not address all other issues/ findings from the MRI and provide ANY recommendation/ explanation as what I can do meantime to better my hurt shoulder other then I'll run into problem many years later?? Additionally, the doctor was incapable of answering my question as why injury has improved/ cured to almost normal from last time (2+ months ago) I've seen him with the MRI results in hand. My summary of the visit to Ortho Illinois is they are: (1) Money hungry by pushing both MRI and surgeries (2) Bad process/ protocols on customer engagement/ treatment (3) Unprofessional and/or lacking physician(s) experiences/ knowledges. I WILL NEVER USE THEM EVER AGAIN!!! I'll also advise others not to!!!

But she told me that I…read moreshouldn't worry about a blood clot from my leg after an injurty since "Blood clots rarely originate in the legs", which is not at all true. She prescribed narcotic to me for pain, but with the medication I already take, this was not at all the right prescription for me. I would use caution if she advises you when you need medical care.

Big mistake. Perhaps if you are a young athlete, they might treat you differently, but as a middle-aged woman I was made to feel as if I was an imposition and simply not worth their time. The man who took my initial info. rarely made eye contact, not a good start. Then every time I went in, I was sent to a different therapist, so I would have to go over my condition each time. The space at this location is so limited that patients are often standing right next to each other on a small mat trying to do exercises without touching each other. Honestly, this was the most unprofessional, uncomfortable environment. Still, I completed my scheduled appointments as I wanted to get better, but since my improvement was non-existent and every visit was misery, I refused their suggestion to extend my therapy. I ended up getting another order from my doctor and went to NW in Sycamore, the best I have found in the area, and I improved each day. Maybe other locations for Ortho Illinois are better, but I would strongly advise checking them out first.
