A great place for good bar food and to enjoy the game in Leamington. We stayed overnight in the city of Leamington to visit the National Park, and naturally we needed a good place to enjoy the Leafs playoffs game. This establishment was certainly a good choice. While we did wait 20 minutes or so for a table for 2, the waiting area was comfortable, with clear lines of sight to the television. Once we were seated, we ordered a variety of dishes - Thai/asian callimari (great), chicken wings (okay, not enough meat on them imo) and a chicken quesadilla (very good). Afterwards, we ordered a lava cake (great) and. A pint of beer, both of which were happy hour prices (half price for the cake,and $5 for the pint). The staff was friendly, and it was a good vibe. Busy,but not overwhelmingly crowded. We stayed for 2ish hours and weren't pushed away from our table . A strong recommendation from me! read more

This place had good reviews and for a reason. Mexican food served well and tasty. The place is big with plenty of seating and most of it was filled on the Canada Day weekend. The interiors are tastefully done with lots of wood. I had the chicken fajita and for the table we had the calamari. Both were excellent. The quantity was huge so if you have a good appetite this is the place. The service was excellent and efficient and our server came back every now and then to check on us. read more

We came here while visiting the area and had a marvelous dinner. The decor is modern and pleasant. Our waitress, Morgan, was super helpful and pleasant. We ended up splitting an order of stir-fry (which was delicious) and each having a bowl of soup. I had chicken noodle and he had tomato spinach and both were very tasty. We would definitely go here again and recommend it to anyone who's in the area. Edit: actually we did go here again tonight for dinner. Morgan was working in the bar but came out to say hello to us - such a sweet person!! I had the chicken noodle soup again along with a small Caesar salad, and he had the steak salad. Both delicious as usual. If we lived in the area we would definitely be eating here often. read more

We ordered Arancini Balls, veg stir fry, baked shrimps, and few drinks. Food was good. Service wise, we felt the waitress was too pushy. Even though the place was relatively empty, she seemed keen on clearing our tables and done with the table. It's only 10 PM and the place is open till 1 am. I don't understand what's the hurry. Ambience wise, the restaurant provides both kind of seating - bar setup and the family seating where the volume of the music is mild. read more

I was in Leamington for the weekend with my wife celebrating our wedding anniversary. We drove there from the Detroit, MI area. We were trying to think of somewhere to eat for dinner and the hosts from The Duck Pond Bed and Breakfast suggested Jose's. Angela was our server and she was incredible. From giving us honest and helpful suggestions on what to order to bringing out a surprise dessert at the end for our anniversary she was incredible. She even wrote the date we were there on our takeout boxes. I thought that was an incredibly great idea since we usually forget what date we brought food home. My wife ordered the Jose's Wonder pasta and I had the chicken parmesan. They were both great. Even the chips and salsa that are on the table when you sit down were great. We were stuffed, got takeout boxes and then she brought out the dessert. We made room for that somehow because it was simply incredible. I can't wait to go back next time I'm in town. I see there is one in Windsor which is a lot closer to us. If you go to Leamington ask to have Angela wait on you. You'll be happy you did. read more

I was in Leamington yesterday with my family and some family friends to go to the Leamington Art by the Marina. We walked around for about a half hour before we decided we wanted to go somewhere for lunch, with being consumed by the sun an incredibly absurd amount of fish flies, we decided on Jose's for lunch, and it was good! We got there around 12:30 and waited about 15 minutes before being seated, because it was busy, and when we finally got seated, the restaurant was clearing out from the lunch rush and was a bit quieter which was nice. Our waitress, who was really nice and polite, took our drink orders and gave us time to browse the menu. I ended up going for the Buffalo Chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and the Cajun dipping sauce which was an extra 75 cents and wasn't mentioned, but that's okay I finished it. Also was ordered at our table was the Clubhouse, Chicken Caesar Salad, Fish tacos on regular tortillas, fish tacos on lettuce wraps and a chicken Parmesan wrap. I can only speak for myself, but the Buffalo chicken wrap was good, very spicy and because of the tomatoes the wrap had excess of liquid in it. I was only able to eat half of it. Took the rest home. The sweet potato fries were the best out of my meal, they were crinkle cut, therefore more crispier and super delicious, was worth the up-charge on it. Overall it was a good experience, the waitress was super nice and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed, the meals were okay, food was a bit expensive and a bit more on the wet side, and we were inside in the air conditioning on a 35°C day, and the company was always great! read more

Fantastic local bar with great service and delicious, generous portions. Large HD TVs in the bar show whichever Ontario team is currently playing, and the wait staff and locals are friendly and talkative. The Asian calamari is a shareable appetizer with a variety of sauces and peppers to garnish. The chimichanga was hot, cheesy, and crispy. read more

Jose's is wonderful. I have never had anything but great quality food here. Wednesdays are 40% off wings so I highly recommend taking advantage of that. They are huge wings and always juicy. The sauces/seasoning selection is good for it not being a wing place. They have added an express lunch menu which is great. Quick and easy lunches with a variety of options. The beef stew is great on a cold day, and the burgers are an awesome lunch option. All and all, this is probably the most consistent, good quality restaurant in leamington. read more

Stopped in Jose's today while on a motorcycle trip. Dominica was our waitress and she did a fantastic job. The food was good and the beer was cold. We will definitely stop in again when we are in the area. read more

The best place in Leamington. Something on the menu for everyone. Taco Tuesdays are great. Also, not known for the wings but they might be the best in the county. The dining room is a nice family atmosphere but I prefer the bar lounge with plenty of screens to catch a game. Staff is awesome. And the lunch menu is quick if ya gotta get back to work on time. read more
