Me and my family have been here multiple times and the staff are really nice to us. The food is actually really good too. Only thing is they forgot my cousin's fries but we were in a large group, and it was the only mistake made. She then decided to just have the fries taken off anyway so no stars taken. But yeah. Really good place. do be warned When busy, parking is torture. At our most recent visit my cousin had to park very far down the line. Other than all that, a decent place. 9/10 would recommend. read more

Good, but not memorable. Expect to spend $20 a person for portions that are large, but not sure I would say double the "normal" Mexican restaurant portion. The prices, however, were double. The chimichanga (loosely wrapped) took up most of the plate with chicken and rice filling. Creamy cheese sauce poured on the plate. The chicken fajitas were grilled nicely with onion, pepper and tomatoes. Lettuce, a tomato slice and sour cream were served with it, along with 3 flour tortillas, rice and black beans. No cheese, which was a little strange, but no biggie. The chips were warm and served with white and red salsas. Overall, not bad, not great, but definitely pricey. read more

Seemed like we were the first ones in. Service was great however the food was not. The customary chips were a little on the stale side. Warm, but stale. The salsa was ok. Maybe out of a jar? We ordered chicken chimichangas and another dish with chorizo and chicken. Both dishes had the same exact black beans and exact same rice. Both not hot, lukewarm at best, bland and over cooked rice. The chicken couldn't have been thicker than 2mm so of course that was over cooked as well. The chorizo was slightly dry and not as good as the chorizo you buy from the store. The chimichanga was hot but could have used a little more frying time. We left a lot of food on the plate. Overall totally disappointed and for $30 plus tip is way over priced for what you get. Especially since we got the lunch specials. Sweet tea was good though. read more

Our service was good, we ordered a frozen house margarita but these were not available frozen, just certain flavors were. So we bought two on ice, when they came they were orange. We stirred them and after a couple of sips, they were just well, horrible. We told the waiter that we couldn't drink them but he just laughed and walked away. When he came back to our table we told him again, but he laughted again, so we asked to pay and leave. We should have asked to speak to the manager but we didn't. The house margaritas were $5.99 but we were charged $7.99 each, when I asked about this our waiter said the price had went up. So we spent $18.00 for 2 drinks that were so bad we couldn't drink them, but did eat just a few of their chips. We will never come back here again, EVER. read more

This is the first time I have ever reviewed on Yelp, and I come here bearing terrible news regarding this tragic operation. The crew was not only incapable of serving us adequately, but lacked the intelligence and hospitality that even a toddler could offer. I have never had as negative an experience in a restaurant as this. Despite refusing to serve us drinks (even after we showed a PASSPORT for verification,) they still charged us full price and hardly gave a half-ass apology. After this, we were told by our waitress that we "sucked" because we wanted to split our bill. If you are considering dining in this make-believe Mexican restaurant, I would advise driving to the other side of the lake. I say this not only to tell you to dine at the other Mex restaurant, but to put this catastrophe of an establishment out of business. This place is the worst thing I've seen at Smith Mountain Lake. read more

Horrible. The worst mexican food I have experienced in 30 years. Steak burrito was literally just wet beef in a tortilla. No Vegetables or flavor present whatsoever. Absolutely shameful and pathetic attempt at mexican food. Literally just meat and tortilla slathered in grease. The ACP chimichanga was the same deal. Wet meat and tortilla, no vegetables or grains included. For $17 there should at least be rice in a burrito. Truly awful, would not want my worst enemy to eat here. read more

I want to give an update to my first review. This place has really grown and has done a lot better. Food is on point now every time I have ordered and service has got way better. Wings are still very very good and just about everything on the menu is worth the price you pay and portions are great too. This is definitely a must try and I am super happy that the quality has upgraded I definitely enjoy eating here! read more
