He provided estimates without looking at the broken pipe, he didn't take the picture because it was too far into crawl space to go look. This part is off putting for me. Due to time sensitive nature of water leak, I agreed to pay for minimum 2 hours of minimum labor charges irrespective of actual work effort required. Just a fantastic job by Jose's team. We had our external drains backed up this rainy season and they are all covered in concrete. They cleaned them out and mapped by Jose's team. They used a high pressure system and a sophisticated camera so we could see how backed up our drains were. They also installed a very strong sump pump to drain away the water table under our home which has been a problem since we bought our home. They did this all in a day and were so pleasant and worked really hard especially under the house in our crawl space. Adrian who works on the administration side with Jose is very communicative and he responds fast. I'd use these folks again if we have any more big plumbing issues. read more

The service person was nice but they really took advantage of me with their pricing, when I told them about it they did nothing. I was charged a fee of ~$400 to check the leak in my ceiling, no problem. When I asked him to cap off the leak at the shower head so I can check with my insurance company, they charged me almost $400 to screw on the cap to my shower head. I think this price in addition to the check was a little overboard but they did not think so. Needless to say I won't recommend them or have my shower leak repaired by a company who disregards my request for a fair price. read more

We had been experiencing intermittent sewer backups in our main sewer line. I had been using an alternative solution with a "bladder" to help address the issue, but eventually the sewer backup became severe enough that the line was no longer able to flow freely. We initially called a well-known neighborhood plumber. Their team inspected the situation and provided a proposal. However, instead of focusing on identifying the actual cause of the sewer backup, they suggested replacing the entire lateral pipe from the outside of the house to the main city sewer, hoping that this would resolve the problem. Because we were not sure whether the blockage or possible broken pipe was located under the city street, which would require a plumber with the appropriate license and permits, we decided to look for a plumber who was qualified to perform this type of work. We found Jose's Plumbing and called to explain our situation. We received a very positive and prompt response. The following day, their team came to our house and provided a free inspection and investigation. They quickly identified two issues. First, the original lateral pipe had not been properly connected to the main sewer pipe coming from the house. Whoever had installed it had not made a proper connection, which could potentially cause leaks in the future. However, that was not the main concern at the time. The bigger issue was that the lateral pipe near the city sewer appeared to be split or broken. The representative provided us with a quote for the repair, which was a significant expense for us. We also had a few other plumbers inspect the situation, but they did not perform as thorough an investigation and provided estimated costs that were about the same as Jose's Plumbing. After discussing the cost with their representative, we negotiated and eventually agreed to move forward with the project. The team worked quickly and diligently throughout the entire process. They obtained the required city permit, arranged for a city inspection before starting the work, completed the repair, and then passed the final inspection to obtain approval. I felt confident in the quality of the work because I personally saw Jose himself directing the project and working on the replacement of the broken section of the lateral pipe. The next plumber found and fixed the leak in the shower pan drain which was a pretty simple fix and for much, much less. I worked with Jose's plumbers to find out what's cussing the clogging in my sewage line and also mark the spots of my property sewage line so that I can install the clean out. While the technicians performed the camera inspection and helped me find out what's causing the clogging in the sewage line , overall I am disappointed with their service and post service support . 1. There was mess caused due to displacement of water pipe that was connected to the washing machine after the job was done. It caused flooding on my garage floor. 2. The spots marked as a part of the camera inspection were not correct as the contractor who I called to install the clean out did not find the sewage line even after digging more than 4 ft as was suggested by the Jose's plumbers. read more

I had a vanity sink clogged on a Saturday morning. Requested quotes from multiple vendors and Jose had the quickest availability and came out about 1.5 hours later. He tried to snake the pipes but could not clear it due to joining t pipe into the wall. Quoted me to come back on the weekdays because they didn't work on Sunday. Another crew came out the following week based on my schedule. Took about 4+ hours to cut through my cabinet and walls to clear the clogs. In addition, he checked our unit, and double checked with the plumber who turned off the water to confirm that the issue has been fixed.
