Giovani is simply the best! He knows his work and does not charge you an arm and a leg. He is responsive, honest and punctual. I really appreciate how he explains the problem in layman terms so that I fully understand the issue. This is a special shout out for the awesome work he did a few years ago, which is long over due.... I wanted to get a bidet installed and had a special request which was for it to be connected from the sink vanity so that I can have hot and cold functionality. Not only he did the job cleanly and quickly, but he also fixed other unrelated issue in the flushing tank for me without asking for extra. Did the multiple quotes on Yelp and decided to go with San Jose Drain and Main again. Showed up the next day right in the timeframe given. About 20 minutes later and $150, my faucet was running normally again. The guy gave me some pointers on how to maintain so it'll never be clogged too. Very appreciated! Side note : Before contacting, I spent a good 2 hours trying with prybars and various snaking tools on Amazon to do it myself. The drain was clogged with hardened material. We had a leak from a toilet on the second floor of our home that was damaging the ceiling on the first floor. We got a few estimates. They ranged widely in terms of the amount of work "required" and the cost. Giovani's estimate was the lowest and his explanation was the clearest and simplest. I reached out to a few plumbers about our broken water heater, and Giovanni was the only one who really listened and tried to understand the issue before sending someone out. Everyone else gave me the hard sell and vague hourly rates, but Giovanni quickly figured out it was likely a faulty sensor (something he'd seen before) and explained that if it was under warranty, I could just order the part myself and call him when it arrived. Super helpful and no pressure. When I let him know the part was expected to arrive Friday night, he told me he'd make time to install it Saturday, which I really appreciated. But then the part showed up earlier than expected (Friday afternoon) and even though Giovanni was still tied up on another job, he made sure to send one of his workers over that same night at 6 PM so we didn't have to go another day without hot water. Had a 911 emergency where I accidentally drilled through my main water line while wall mounting a television. Water was gushing into the wall, unbeknownst to us for a few hours until we saw water coming out of the power sockets! I had called a few plumbers who provided prices anywhere from $600-$1200 to complete the repairs (install the new piping and cut out the old). I finally called Giovanno and he asked detailed questions to understand the issue, which shows that he truly cares about the work he does. He told me honestly that any plumber charging more than $450 to do the work is ripping me off. From this point on, I knew I could trust Giovanno. He came by late at night to assess the situation. He had all the necessary parts to complete the repair and was in and out in less than hour. He also provided us some pointers on our Tankless water heater and a potential draining issue upstairs. EDWIN was incredible! My brother and I were trying to fix our clogged kitchen sink on our own to no avail, so we gave up and decided to call a plumber. We reached out to around 20 spots but this spot had the lowest estimate and also could send out a guy immediately (almost closing time).
