We heard about Lucky Rooter & Plumbing from a friend, ironically right before we noticed a plumbing issue in our house. When the plumber we were trying to use through our home warranty company was not dragging their feet, we decided to take things into our own hands and called Lucky Rooter & Plumbing - we reached out via Yelp and phone number and he was responsive on both -- Tony just needed our address and was here in under an hour. He showed up with his crew and they went under the house to investigate (they even took pictures of other pipes under our house so we could see their condition). They identified where the leak was coming from and opened up an exterior wall for better access. After a little testing they found that it was leaking out from a pinhole crack in our dishwasher supply line. back being our kitchen cabinets. As they were fixing Tony walked around and pointed out things to keep in mind for maintenance with copper pipes he could see and potential improvements in the future for our main water shutoff connection - nothing pushy just FYIs. The guy with the cool hair. This is what my husband calls Tony. He is very good at what he does as well as stylish. Lol. We've used his services twice so far and have been very satisfied both times. The first incident happened at our home on a Sunday night I believe. Powder room downstairs wouldn't flush and it was one of those messes you don't want anyone to see. Fortunately my husband remembered passing by a plumber's van when we drive home from the grocery store. We called Tony up and he was able to help us out of our jam. I don't remember exactly what was the issue, but he fixed it, but also told us that the pipe leading to the sewer needed to be fixed or repaired soon. We had him do it like a week later. The second time I had my extended family call him because their kitchen sink wouldn't drain. He came out to inspect. Turns out that the main pipe that connected the sink and the washer was 80% clogged with calcium and other nasty stuff. I saw there were so many 5 star reviews, so I contacted Lucky Plumbing. They were very quick to respond. We had a toilet that wasn't flushing properly. They checked it out, and said it was not the pipes, and must be the toilet, and it should not be used, and to get a new one, and have them come out again to pull out the current one and replace it. I said the toilet had been working very well, and thought it might just be a clog somewhere. They had augered it, but it was still not flushing well. While talking to me in a nearby room, I looked down to see three large splats of sewage on the floor that they had dripped from their tools. He looked down at it as well, and did nothing. They also did not wear shoe covers. There was no respect for our home to keep it clean. I looked at our plunger that he had used, and the white handle, and the entire bar were black/brown. He had been wearing gloves, and nothing much had been in our toilet. I then spent hours cleaning off our plunger, floors, and the entire path they had walked, to ensure we would not be tracking sewage into our house. I did not need that extra chore. The next day our 2nd floor toilet wasn't flushing well, so I thought it could be related to the 1st one. Instead of calling Lucky Plumbing back, I called a different plumber. He unclogged the 2nd floor toilet and also augered the toilet on the 1st floor. He got out what looked like lint from the dryer. The toilet still isn't operating as perfectly as before, but is functional after the additional augering. This plumber wore shoe covers, used a thick quilt tarp on the floor and to carry his tools, so they did not drip throughout our home. I greatly appreciated this respect for our living environment. To date, we have not needed to replace our toilet. I do not want to have any contractors or workers in my home that are not going to try to keep it clean, as that is how it was when they arrived. Our issue was not resolved by Lucky Plumbing and I had extra work after they left cleaning up after them. read more

Loi and his crew did a fantastic job at our house. They installed a new tankless water heater, removed our old one, fixed our tub's and our shower's broken handles, and helped me replace a p-trap my daughter broke while trying to unclog it. After installing the new water heater, we started hearing a lot of knocking. Loi quickly tested the water pressure and found it was 90 PSI, much higher than the recommended 50-70 PSI. They promptly installed a water pressure regulator, and now everything is great! Loi also took the time to help us pick the perfect tankless water heater, coordinated with our roofers while we were replacing our roof to install a new exhaust outlet on the roof, and handled all the necessary permits. Recently had a sewage emergency, quoted several plumbers. Loi showed up and started looking into the issue. He recommended me to separately find a restoration company for the clean up, so I could potentially use home warranty / insurance to cover that cost. When do you see a contract tell you to work with others? Then decided to work with Loi for the plumbing side of the work, he gave me a competitive price and can start working right away. Halfway through the work, we ran into some challenges, as I have wet soil under the concrete and all that, he couldn't complete the project that afternoon and had to spend another day on it. He also went out and purchased pump and other material to setup a temporary solution for me so I can use the house that night, which I really appreciate. So project finished the next day, from as far as I can see it's good quality work (they showed me the clamps they use and how that compared to what I had before). I found by chance Luck Rooter, the website initially turned me off due to the sparisty of it. But before I called Lucky I called 2 other plumbing companies. I wanted to have someone come out and look at my sewer line from the street to my house and to make sure my pipe was clean. I know the dangers from other houses and some of my neighbors that clogged pipes can cause and we have been in this house for 10 years without getting them cleaned or looked at. So when I called the 2 other companies, one did not call me back and the other started telling me they charge based on how long my pipe line is and they cant actually give me a firm price until they come out. WHAT??? that is insane. I get if its like hundreds of feet long and you live on a very large lot but I do not and I told them that. So I was not about to be hosed on price for something I know is not to expensive. So I called Lucky and he called me back right away. He gave me a price which included the hyrdro jet if needed or just the camera look into the pipes which is what I wanted and he could come out same day. Turns out he lived in my neighborhood. So he comes out and all was great in my pipes, explained a few things even helped me find a sewer pipe that I had covered up with rock. He was so friendly and helpful and charged a fair decent price.
