I came here to get my prom dress fixed since it was too long on me, the dress was ready on time but once I came to pick it up the dress was missing a lot of rhinestones and ornaments it had, these rhinestones weren't missing the day I left it at the store to get fixed, I asked the manager to see what she could do for me and she simply said they couldn't do anything for me, after I payed over 500$ for the dress itself and I payed 100$ for the reparation, there was also not organization whatsoever with orders, I didn't get a order receipt or any backup, this place was expensive and I wouldn't recommend it at all to anyone! We drove right over and she completed all the alterations on my daughter's homecoming dress in 30 minutes. She has a magical eye and the hands of a ninja. The price was great! i've been to not only the fortune location but the other location on 192 in kissimmee as well. when i want to the one on 192, josey herslef did the alterations on my wedding dress, she ended up charging me 170.00 to fix my dress, however she ended up not fixing it she damages it. it was still to long and now had holes in the bottom i broke down crying my dress was ruined. they did an ok job on some of the last-minute details for one of my very pregant bridesmaids dress (josey had no part in them). now fast forward a few months my husband didnt know taht the fortune location was the same owener as the other location on 192 so he took my work unifroms there to be hemmed they did an ok job. he was over charged (80$ for 5 pants) and the pants where not all completed the way, i needed them done but of course he didnt check them still paid and left no promble whatever. today my nephew took my pants in to be fixed again because one of them that was (fixed) befoer riped due to the poor job the first time. just as he gives the pants in and lets them know what he would like done and pay's again for the same thing to be done. josey tells him, these pants can't be yours, he replies with no they are my titi's! she say's, "wow she fat" she needs to lose weight if she doesn't, she's going to die!! (i am on the phone and can hear her) my poor newphw waits a few for the pant gets in his car crying to me on the phone telling me he dosen't want to lose me because we just tragicly lost my younger brother in a car accedint. i hang up with him called josey to let her know that was not in anyway ok and i will never be back. she tells me it came from a nice place. ma'am with all disrespect in the world i didnt ask you your opinion on my weight, i am paying you to fix my work pants. how dear you bully a kid in to getting me to lose weight so that you are more compy wtf!!!!! do better please. not a soul asked you if my size 20 makes you worry about me, i am a grown woman. do me a big favor and mind the business that pays you.i will make sure never to return and i will let anyone who i know never to go there or to any of the locations. read more

A friend recommended Josey's to me while I was vacationing in Orlando. I brought in two pairs of slacks to be taken in, fully prepared to come back another day. She said wait and 15 minutes later I was walking out the door with three pairs of perfectly tailored slacks. Since she did the work on the spot, I gave her the pants I had on to take in also. My friend had two dresses taken in also. I came back two days later with two more pairs of slacks. I am on a weight loss journey and everything is too big and I didn't want to replace anything until I finished losing the weight. Josey's is a Godsend. Highly recommend. She also does custom work. When we first moved to Kissimmee, we were so happy to have found this spot. The work was quick and reasonably priced. Lately it has gone downhill. After a couple of mishaps, I decided to give it another try. I took in a dress I bought for my son's high school graduation; it only needed to be taken in slightly on the top. It was halter style. When I mentioned that the sides needed to be taken in on the top, the owner said it would be better to cut and hem the straps around the neck. I didn't question bc I am not a tailor. I never received a call letting me know the dress was complete, so after a week I drove by and they could not find the dress. The owner had me look through the rack myself. I rushed out after finding it bc the graduation was the next day. When I tried it on at home that evening, I realized the dress was ruined. The straps were too tight around my neck; you could actually see where it pushed into my skin and it was cutting off my circulation. I also noticed a white streak down the front where they attempted to iron it. The dress is ruined and I will never be able to wear it. Even if I wanted someone else to try to repair, the person that cut the straps did not leave enough room to take it out. And I paid $20 for a simple fix, that they managed to destroy; not to mention the money I spent on a dress that cannot be worn. Worst of all, I had no back up dress for graduation. Avoid this place at all costs. I will never go back. read more

This place gets way too crowded for you to actually get good customer service. In my experience they didn't take CC cards even do I saw a POS system there so bring cash. The suit jackets I took there to have their sleeves taken were taken in too much making them way short. They made ZERO attempts to rectify or make it right. I've been here before to have some things done and it was fine. Today I went in at about 1:20PM, waited and WAITED as multiple people came in and went. I was constantly being skipped but was patiently waiting. About 2PM , and josey tells me to "hurry up and go change" cause she's hungry and needs to eat. I told her that I don't mind waiting while she eats. There was 2 people in there besides me at that point, and I was there before them. She comes back and eats really quickly. She has the other 2 people that were there go in and try on their stuff before me. At this point I was very annoyed because I was NOTHING short told patient. Then she services a Spanish client that JUST walked through the door. I finally said "can I go and start trying on my stuff" so I went to the bathroom to start trying on my clothes. At this point, there were A LOTTTTT of people waiting there. I tried on my first dress, second dress, great. I try on a jumpsuit that's too long, and she's helping other people and says "I'm working on you just wait". She then proceeds to start hemming a shirt of someone that had just walked in, while I'm standing in my outfit in her bathroom..... I got so pissed I walked out. I WASTED OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF TO CONSTANTLY BE SKIPPED AND LOOKED OVER, ALL TO LEAVE NOT BEING HELPED. AND I WORK TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe it was because I didn't speak Spanish, or because I'm young, but all the Spanish speakers were services quickly serviced. Terrible customer service the owner has too much going on at the same time , disorganized, unprofessional. Does not take your measurements properly she puts a pin on it and then cuts whatever you want . Went in for a pair of pants showed her exactly how I wanted it . She told me come back in 30 mins and it will be ready . I knew that was not going to happen so I gave her a hour . Shocking was not ready . She jumped on it and finished it . My mistake was not trying them on while there but I had things to do I thought it's a simple cut how can you get that wrong . Once finally home tried the pants on and one leg was tighter than the other and the pants were too short I told her and showed her that I wanted the pants to just sit right at the shoe line and it was cut above the ankles. I can't say that it was poor service because there was, NO SERVICE!! Total rip off! I have her a pair if dress pants with a lining that needed to have about 5-6 inches cut off and hemmed. I tried them on with the shoes I was going to be wearing with these pants and she marked them with pins so she would know where the hem needed to be. She told me to come back in a couple of hours. I did just that and paid her $15 for the repair. When I got home, I put them in the closet. A couple of weeks later, I was going to wear them to church. I put them on and to my surprise, she hadn't hemmed them at all!! She stole my money and I received NO SERVICE, whatsoever!! I would NEVER recommend this establishment! read more

I have gone to this business a few times,nothing compared to the service in 2010 when the business was at the Osceola square mall after that I stopped taking clothing for alterations there. Since then another location was opened on fortune rd.kissimmee...just left the business very disappointed that we are living in times where people have no pride or dignity in what they do....the garment had stains on it which were not there when the garment was left for alterations brand new dress. Whoever worked on the garment took very little pride in there skills if any,the garment should have been inspected once the alterations were completed. So needless to say we will not be going to this business again ....Josey it's sad that your employees do not value you business or themselves... read more

This is the 3rd time this place has let me down. Definitely will not be coming back. The first time was great and quick service. But every time after that has been bad. From forgetting to call me to let me know my stuff was finished. To forgetting what they were supposed to alter. From completing forgetting to do it, after saying it will be done the same day and I stopped by the next day late in the afternoon.
