I recently went here to get a bridesmaid dress tailored. They did a good job, but they do take a…read morewhile to get your clothes ready. I dropped my dress off first week of February and 2 weeks later I came to pick it up and it wasn't ready for another few hours. The total for getting my dress hemmed was $80. It was a silk dress, not anything super thick or crazy. I also dry clean my work blazer, which costs about $20 and takes a week to get done. Another place I use to go to on Colonial only charges $8 for dry cleaning. The prices here are definitely higher than the average, almost double. I pay for the convenience because I am walking distance from the tailor, but if you are looking for average prices I would recommend another place.

On top of the extensiveness of the alterations, the fabric of my dress is incredibly delicate and intricate, so I'm sure it was a challenge to work with. Tina and the other staff here are some of the nicest people. She said that they put love into their work, and both my parents and I could not have agreed more. They were kind and attentive and you can tell how much care they put into their work both during measurements and their masterful sewing. Beyond just doing the alterations, Tina made sure my mom and I felt comfortable putting up the bustle for my dress and teaching me how to sit in a chair without pulling on it. Every detail was thought of. We were incredibly impressed. Their work is actual magic! One appointment for measurements and one appointment to try it on and it was an absolute perfect fit. I will absolutely be coming back for any clothing that I need altered in the future.

I came to her with 2 dresses that I've had forever but never wore because it needed some tweaks. Problem was, I didn't know exactly what each dress needed in order for them to feel more like me. Sheila walked me through her thought process and bounced ideas back and forth and before I knew it, she's pinned both dresses into something in really excited to wear! I had to take it to a proper tailor to fix the damage, and they were shocked at how badly it was handled. Not only did it still fit poorly, but so many things were done incorrectly. It ended up costing far more than I'd planned. They might be fine for dry cleaning, but absolutely do not trust them with alterations if you care about the outcome.

At Oxxo my coats were returned with no more cat hair, lint, or smell. What I like the most is that they have sewing services as well. I needed the buttons in a pair of work pants and one coat replaced, and the pricing was very affordable. I was happy with the quality of the sewing and the button choices for both items. It's nice to have a one stop shop for my clothing. I will definitely return for more dry cleaning needs.
