Holy cow, was this creamy! We are from CT and have been blessed with UConn Dairy bar ice cream which has been made with the cows in the back of the shop. I did not think anything could come close to the quality. I tried the Purple Mountain Majesty which was a taro based ice cream with chocolate covered raspberry cups. Wow the flavor was incredible! The taro was very strong and the chocolate covered raspberry cups were a perfect complement to the smooth, rich, ice cream! I by got a scoop of it in a waffle cone (shout out to the guy who scooped it because he gave me a few extra ;)) My fiancé got the cookie butter scoop which was also very rich and flavorful. This is definitely bookmarked for the next time we visit the area! read more

A rather odd location in this suburban area. It was quite out of the way to get to. I am impressed with the hours of operation, staying open late is genius. Really pans to the audience by staying open late and I loved that, wished more ice creameries stayed open late. The store didn't have much of an ambiance. I wouldn't say this is a trendy or hip location, maybe the downtown location is more Instagramable. The ice cream was also behind the counter so you could not view the flavors. If you eat with your eyes and rely on what the food looks like before you order it, then you're out of luck as you actually can't see the ice cream. I do recommend researching the flavors online before you arrive so you can get an idea of what the flavors are. The flavors of the ice cream were delicious. I got two scoops in a waffle cone and it was a decent portion. The flavor or the freshness of the waffle cone could be improved. Overall I enjoyed the ice cream and would visit again if in the mood. Okay - so I have a serious problem! This shop is wayyyyy too close to home for comfort. The shop is small, the staff is friendly the flavors are bold and big. My husband loves the mocha flavor and I love the yellow cake. It tastes just like cake batter! It's absolutely delicious. The cookies and cream is also a solid choice. It has a cute outdoor area to sit while enjoying your ice cream and during checkout you get to play trivia with the staff! So fun! My daughter and I like to try new dessert places and this one popped up, and had awesome reviews so we couldn't NOT try it.. best decision we made that day! Their ice cream is so delicious and creamy, but their waffle cones?!! THEEE best waffles cones I've ever had. They're so good, idk what it is about them, but they're amazing. Had lunch next door and decided to check out the ice cream shop next door. I love ice cream and was thrilled that it was homemade. As I walked into the establishment I was greeted very quickly and I saw a machine churning ice cream. There was a variety of flavors to select from and ask if they have any featured flavors. Ask for a sample. I sampled the coffee and mocha ice cream. Loved both but I ordered a mocha malt milkshake. It was delicious!! It came in a tall cup and I couldn't drink it all. Wished they offered 2 different sizes. It is a big size to share. The ice cream had so much flavor and very creamy. They also had sundaes and banana splits. Can't wait to go back and try the other flavors. Ask for a punch card. Saw there was a trivia question posted but wasn't sure why it was posted but later saw on my punch card if you knew the answer you got more punches. Recommendation is next time before you pay the cashier should ask if you know the answer. It is a great marketing idea if implemented. read more

O.M.G. We're visiting from the northeast and had to try this place. It's incredible. The smell of cinnamon and nutmeg from their house-made waffle cones draws you in. Went in looking for a scoop of ice cream and left with a sundae experience. Danielle was amazing. She really up-sold me on upgrading. She asked me what I liked and she suggested either the yellow cake or oatmeal. After the taste test I went with the yellow cake. When she mentioned the hot caramel and that it was made in house and then add the in house whipped cream I was SOLD. The sundae came together beautifully. I am glad I visit here on business or I would frequent this place and likely be 100 lbs heavier. I will be back. Next time we are hiring I may have my management team interview Danielle for her awesome and natural sales ability. read more

After chatting with our server, since hubby has Celiac disease, she changed her gloves, washed her hands and offered to open a fresh container of his choice to prevent cross contamination. SO HAPPY! He simply smiled and began scooping with the enthusiastic efficiency of a soldier waiting for reinforcements. I purchased a double scoop containing Salted Peanut Butter Cup and a flavor called Moose on the Loose. The second flavor contained enormous chunks of fudge that were buried deep within the cream like forgotten treasure. It was exactly the sort of heavy molecular fuel a human body requires after arguing with a giant rock. There was also a glass cooler filled with vintage sodas. Nostalgia routinely robs my wallet before my intellect can mount a defense. I purchased an RC Cola and spent ten minutes explaining to the members of our group born in the 90's that there was a time in human history when cola came in more than two respectable varieties. The ice cream was excellent and my history lesson was free. If you find yourself in Manitou Springs with tired lungs, you could do a great deal worse.
