Promptness and attention to detail. I also contacted another local Farmer's agent and had some difficulty reaching them by phone. I needed to set up insurance around the Thanksgiving break and Edwin got back to me right away and I was able to pay for our auto/home/umbrella policy over the phone. 2. Understands the system. I have a PhD and most people would consider me a smart person, but I do not understand insurance. Edwin very patiently explained all the details of the different limits to me. 3. Problem solver. Due to some confusion in the Farmer's system, I received a refund that I did not ask for. Edwin took care of this error by tracking down the paper trail and patiently explained to me what was going on. With most insurance companies, I probably would have needed to talk to customer service for hours to solve this problem that was not of my own making. 4. Overall good person and neighbor. First, the corporate auto insurance policies are 4X what you can find elsewhere. I have Geico for…read moreall my personal policies for over 17 years. I only used Duncan May because I was referred there by the auto dealership that sold me the car. I trusted the salesman and I trusted Kevin when they told me that "Corporate policies are more expensive than regular policies". That is a lie. But I was their customer for over 2 years, paying $396 per month for a corporate auto policy. Then in August another vehicle ran a red light, sending me to the hospital and totaling my car. Fortunately there were witnesses and the other insurance accepted liability. BUT, within 3 business days I received a letter in the mail stating that my policy was going to ride to over $1100 per MONTH! (over $13k per YEAR!) I started shopping around to other insurances and Geico got me a policy for only $1100 per YEAR. So I called and emailed to cancel my Allstate policy. First Kevin said that I couldn't cancel my policy because I had a claim out. My car was totaled, why do I have to continue to pay insurance on a car that is now owned by Allstate? He had no answer...and never got back to me. I had to continue to pursue Kevin via phone and email. It took over a MONTH to actually cancel the policy (Accident was August 11 2017, Kevin couldn't figure out how to cancel the policy until Sept 14.) Then think everything was done, at the end of September I get a bill in the mail for $1044! I email kevin and he says he'll "look into it"...I don't hear from him for a month. Then at the end of October I get another bill for $1044, emailed Kevin and he says he'll call me back. Finally he gets back to me and says its a 10% fee for early cancellation! What are you even talking about? That doesn't even make any sense! Kevin kept offering nonsensical excuses. It's just excuse after excuse with this guy. so he "escalates" my "complaint" as they call it, to Allstate themselves. and some usless guy named "Brendon" calls me and keeps telling me it's an $1044 early cancellation charge, and Brendon can't do anything about it either. Stay away from this group! I'm sure Kevin doesn't mind getting the big fat commission checks for selling these garbage policies. And then he's useless if you actually need anything. I've been with Geico since 2000 and they are relatively inexpensive and their customer service is great!

The owner isn't ever available and won't talk to customers, I was told that "he's a hard man to track down, but had his "girls" there to handle the business end of things". This girl is super inexperienced and very young and lacks a lot of knowledge. I would not recommend anyone trust their insurance needs to this place. I was concerned about going to a place like Geico, because there are no offices you can walk into, but, I have had great experience thus far with them.
