Our experience buying our very first home was such an enjoyable, positive one. We know the Lord provided every part of this blessing, and that included Devin! From our very first meeting, nothing was left to chance! Seeing real estate prices only go up year after year, my husband and I knew we needed to start looking to buy a home for ourselves. The thought of it was intimidating and seemed far within our reach. We started casually checking out open houses every Sunday, and it was at one of these open houses that we met Devin where he was showing a client's home. Although he wasn't our agent (yet) he was so easy to talk to, and educated us with so much useful information in the short 10 minutes we spoke. Now fast forward to the open house we looked at right after his. Although this house was out of our price range, it was more like a curious viewing for us. We loved it so much that we ended up leaving... then coming back to look at it again the same day. At this point we realized that the next time we came upon a home that we liked so much, we better be ready with an agent, which we didn't have yet. Called a few people... but didn't feel the connection. Kept thinking back to "that really nice guy" at the open house, Devin. We gave him a call, and in a couple days were sitting across from him, signing papers and he was showing us TONS of available properties online!! Devin was the BEST agent we could have ever hoped for. He exceeded our expectations in every way: 1) Comfort Level: he's so easy to talk to, ask any and as many questions and was always so, so pleasant. I tend to be a people pleaser and I told him this from the start. He totally got me! I always felt comfortable that if I didn't like something, I could tell him, no problem...move on! No need to waste time seeing places that we didn't like... he really valued our time! His personality is so easy and he's truly a kind and nice guy. Very genuine. 2) Patience: being this was our very first home-buying experience, we were very lay to everything real estate and needed someone to help us understand the process without feeling rushed. He explained every step to us... buying our first home was truly an enjoyable, exciting experience! 3) Knowledge/Contacts: I was already looking at homes on Zillow and OahuRE... but Devin had so many others that we never saw! There were so many that fit our budget and area we were looking in. I couldn't believe the resources he had! For someone who didn't live here all their life... is young... you'd never know. The wealth of knowledge and associates/contacts he has just blow me away! This is just another plus for his clients. Devin also put us in touch with his go-to guy for our mortgage/loan. This person was also AMAZING! All the application process was done over the phone and online. It WAS EASY. They do all the leg work for you. 4) Professional: Devin is VERY PUNCTUAL. Always on time. A couple times we ran a few minutes late, and he was very gracious. Observing his interaction with other professionals, it was nice to see they enjoy working with him and he is respected. He does his homework so you don't have to, and he's always prepared on his client's behalf. In the end... my husband and I ended purchasing our dream home... yes, the one we saw just after we met Devin. We didn't realize it then, but it was totally within our budget, and we were even able to consider a 15 year mortgage over a 30! There were parts of the negotiating process that we would have gladly accepted, not knowing the options. Devin could have easily said, cool... you guys are okay with it, so no need to change anything. But did I mention he works VERY HARD for his clients!? Yup, even if we were willing to accept a condition, he advocated for us and we were able to get added benefits and a lower selling price, in our favor. Everything went so smooth, we were even given the option to close in under 30 days. WOW! So here we are, one year later, living in our dream house!! Devin was our agent, but now he's a friend who's more like family!!

She said at your office "that's what we do here at remax to help our tenants out" I even asked her if I owed her more rent for moving in early. So do not blame that on us. When we moved in the place was a mess. I also contacted Jay the previous tenant and she also stated when she moved in the place was a mess and the owners father would come by and just band-aid everything (also, if anyone wonders, Jay was the tenant just before us. You can see her review on Facebook for Aloha Remax) Second fact... The 7k check I got was an agreed on contract. You and the owner wanted my family of 5 to pick up and move again after we lived in the property for only a week. That was not a gift, it was an agreement. I get 4800 and my deposit back and you get a empty house to sell. The owner and I both had a huge compromise in that matter. Don't pat yourself on the back. Also we told you guys on June 3rd about mold in the kitchen and the bathroom. Not one single company came to remove said mold in the whole month we were there. We moved out on July 5th. You had two companies provide quotes, but the owners father who does not specialize in mold decided he was going to do one of his band aid fixes. We said no, we would like a professional to fix the mold issue and moved out of that mold infested place. Also your Gift ( cheap wine and box of chocolates) was nice. But when you rent out a $2300 home at least have the place clean when someone moves in. I have a few hundred pictures I can gladly upload on that. Then when you follow that up with never cleaning the air conditioner and never removing the mold and fixing the water damaged wall that was dripping from when you flush the toilet (Gross). It's hard to be thankful for cheap wine and chocolate. But thanks for the health hazard. Much love We rented a house through Remax at 95-1034 Ainamakua Dr. Apt 17A. We only lived there for a month as the owner wanted to sell. In that month, we dealt with Mold and numerous other issues. (We had 3 mold inspectors confirm it was mold) this house is up for sale right now. So please have the downstairs bathroom ceiling carefully inspected along with the kitchen. There is also water damage from the upstairs toilet leaking. I say all this because they love to put Band-Aids over big problems instead of actually fixing things. Before you sign anything with them, make sure you have this house carefully inspected. I would also have an air quality test done. Also, be aware, we showed up while the cleaners for the rental property were there and it was Ray's wife an son. Very strange. But just a side note.

Our location was left in prestine condition and still was charged a cleaning fee, that they contract with, of $250.00. In total, the company held over 700.00$ of our deposit for us leaving the place in better condition it was left to us in.
