I've been wanting to check out Joto's Pizza in Pinellas Park for a while now and finally stopped in tonight for dinner. It's a nice mom and pop restaurant that has been around since 1974!! My server, Emily, was excellent!!! Food order was taken quickly and food was brought out in great time!! I ordered the large (16") cheese pizza and the Joto's Fingers which were delicious!!! Inside was nice with ample seating for all group sizes. Great spot to take the family for reasonable food with great flavor!! In my search for the best NY Pizza outta New York City brings me to Pinellas Park, Florida where I found a place called Joto's Pizza on Belcher road. With over 50 yrs in service Joto's has perfected their pizza pie... it's quite tasty! This mom and pop pizzeria has proven to be an excellent pie by it's 50 history in the same area. Whenever we are in town from Southern California, we ALWAYS make several stops to eat at Joto's Pizza! Both locations (Belcher Rd in Pinellas Park and Park Blvd N in Seminole) are amazing, and we love supporting a local, family-owned business. After 50+ years, it's obvious they know what they are doing! You honestly can't go wrong with ordering anything on their menu! The pizzas, subs and roll-a-doughs are delicious ... their sauce is to die for! ... and you absolutely HAVE to order the Joto's Fingers! I always forget to take a picture of our food but this is our favorite pizza place to order from. They are always consistent and their sauce does not give heartburn and isn't sweet. Traditionally my family and I go to Joto's over the holidays at least once for their great pizza, fingers, and wings. Well, this year we went there twice. On 9/18 picked up my pizza around 720 pm , while waiting watched the man taking pizzas out of oven with one hand eating his pizza w the other never washing his hands , just grossed me out , that may happen in pizza places but it was gross , take a break eat wash hands then go back to work ! read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Let me start with saying they are the worst. To elaborate:1. The person taking the orders was terrible. She seemed preoccupied and that maybe why the order was messed up. The pizza was ordered as a meat lovers, and charged accordingly. I got a plain pizza instead. Ok, things happen so I called them to discuss issue. They totally blew me off. They offered me a "credit" against a future purchase. They assumed that even if I believed a pizza joint would track a credit, that I would ever order from them again. Their pizza sucks anyway. They can't get an order straight. The manager even said he didn't care if I ever called them again. Original Pizza II is mucho superior. Don't bother with this place. If you want awesome old school pizza then this is your joint. I went for lunch on a Saturday with my kids (20 & 21). We started with the "fingers" and holy cow, I could have eaten an entire bowl as my meal and been completely satisfied. But we didn't stop there. My daughter got the buffalo chicken pizza and I tend to be a purest but this was really good and I would forgo a traditional pizza any day for this buffalo chicken pizza. My son and I shared a "Meat" pizza with mushrooms on one side. DELISH!!! Oh yeah and a side of ricotta to go with the pizza... chef's kiss! I work at JCI and we order from Joto's quite a bit for meetings and training events. Their pizza is great, but they have a secret weapon, and it's.... a Cuban sandwich. All I can say is you've got to give it a try. Melty cheese, perfect meat ratio, pickles, and some kind of sauce that ties everything together, all wrapped up in perfectly crispy bread. It never seems to be too crowded in here during lunch, and the atmosphere is that of your typical pizza place. Quick and friendly service, and they even gave me free candy on Halloween. How can you beat free candy AND the most amazing Cuban Sandwich in the Bay Area? You can't. read more

Growing up this pizza is all my school fed me. I did not complain then and I won't now!! Parking is easy as it is in its own lot Prices are between 8-17$ depending on what you get so fair prices. I've been ordering from here for 18 years, usually good service and food. The occasional times there was a problem the manager always made it right. The experience I had today was inexcusable. Walked in at 3:30 on a Sunday to ask what time I'd need to order 4 pizzas for a party and was told 20 minutes before. Ordered at 4:25 arrived at 4:50 and was told it'd be a few minutes. Then I look through the glass and see my pizzas just going in the oven. Keep in mind there was only one party of 6 in the dining room. When I voiced my displeasure, the cook came out and told me to lose the attitude. I've worked 25 yrs in food service and have never seen this kind a of disrespect. No apology whatsoever, and nothing taken off the $95 bill when they finally had it ready almost an hour after I ordered it. Looking forward to talk to the manager who I've seen there for many years... I'm sure he'll rectify the situation and hopefully have a talk with the rudest staff I've ever seen. read more

I ordered a pizza online and picked it up myself. My mistake was not looking at the pizza before I left the store. I ordered a veggie pizza which is supposed to have olives onions peppers extra cheese tomatoes and banana peppere are optional. My pizza did not have extra cheese, to be honest it barely had any cheese. There were no tomatoes on this pizza and hardly any onions The outside edges of the crust were kind of burnt. My first time coming here I didn't think much of it. My girlfriend raves about it because she grew up eating this. Honestly it was super okay the first time. The second time trying it which was almost a year later I can say it is subtly amazing. Lol I say subtly because they don't do anything special per say with their sauces or seasonings but the basics are perfect. The dough must be handmade. It's been perfectly cooked both times I had it. Crunchy yet still chewy on the inside. Tbh their dough is my favorite of any place. Their dough makes their pizza amazing. They have bread sticks that you can get and MAN are they delicious. You HAVE to get their bread sticks. Always comes with a pool of garlic butter at the bottom of the tray it comes in. It's so good. When I complained to the restaurant, they claimed to discipline the driver, but they did not say how. Stopped by here for a quick bite and was graciously seated immediately by our hostess. Wonderful place to sit down and enjoy a meal while being able to have your food quickly served to you if you are hungry. They also deliver locally with no minimum so that is a big plus. Great prices and great lunch time specials (2 slices & a soda for $5) make this a good place to grab a quick bite. Was surprised to discover that they sell slices ONLY during lunch time so if you stop by during dinner just remember to keep this in mind. This is one of those local places that needs to be supported not just during this time but always. We ordered pizza from Jotos and were not disappointed as usual. Just the right amount of everything and the crust is always perfect. First time we ordered a calzone from them and it will not be the last time. We had it delivered and it arrived right on time and they practice social distancing as much as possible. The chains just don't have real pizza anymore the taste is not the same as places like this. The chains pizzas seem to be getting smaller and smaller but Joto's pizza are still the same size as it always has been. The XL is and XL. I don't really have much to say about Joto's although since I just went there for lunch (didn't plan on it, just ended up there) I figured I'd say a few things. I've been here in the past and I could take it or leave it. It's definitely not one of my go-to places for Italian, but if it was the last place on Earth..I wouldn't be overly upset either. In all my visit's I've tried the pizza, sausage roll and today the Super Sub (Turkey, Ham, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese, Mayo) w/ a bag of Lay's Potato Chips and a soda (It was a combo special thing). The sub was very tasty...but then again...bacon on anything makes it better. But it was a good size for the price $7.39 for the 12" combo. If memory serves....the pizza is okay...nothing to write home about but nothing particularly bad. And the sausage roll was good but a bit bland. They're not really "spice" heavy here so you kind-of have to make your meals taste better with the red pepper and parm cheese. Overall though...good daily specials and people seem to like it (at least for lunch) since they're always about half-capacity it seems. read more

Today I place a call to order your Medium pizza half sausage and cheese.. and a order of jotos fingers . What a very bad disappointment the pizza was well don to where you couldn't see the sausage. T fingers had no garlic butter sauce. I called and and was told they would make me another one . I declined .And asked for my money back but he declined. I've ate there many times in the past and never had this problem . You obviously have no good customer relations for running a business. Shame on you. Their breadsticks are absolutely divine. Ours came in a large metal bowl with a huge layer of melted butter on the bottom. The bread was very soft and very garlicy. Absolutely amazing. They served the breadsticks with marinara sauce, but when I discovered the butter I just kept dipping them in that. Their pepperoni pizza is really good. I liked the crust, especially. You might be thinking 'yeah, it's a pepperoni pizza, so what?' But I can tell that this pizza was amazing. The pepperonis were large and tasty, the cheese was super hot and so gooey - as you pulled a piece away, long strings of cheese would follow. I can't remember what type of cheese they said they used, but it was really great. The tomato sauce had a really good flavor, too. As we waited for our food, we got to watch one of the employees tossing pizza dough. This was fairly entertaining and my kids really enjoyed it. They had a large 1-topping on sale for $7 (ish?) when we went, which was cheaper than their smalls, and definitely worth the price. A nice cheap "on the go" meal. The bread for the 6 inch sub was perfect, with a toasted, crunchy crust. Tasted like it was freshly baked. A nice balance of meats and veggies.
