When those suggestions did not resolve the problem, he made arrangements to visit my residence the following day. Rick and his niece, who is also an electrician, arrived and began working. I phoned Rick for quote for fan wiring and install x 2. He provided a quote over the phone and then we scheduled appointment. Rick showed up on time. His work was focused and professional. Rick is OUR electrician! Today he is replacing ballasts in the kitchen florescent fixture to find that the old time magnetic ballasts that lasted about 8-10 years are no longer made. He was able to rewire the fixtures to the new electronic ballasts. LED tubes aren't in 8 foot size yet or I would have upgraded. Next he is working on replacing the two outside motion sensor fixtures that are LED lights. Ending with installing a ceiling fan in the bedroom and then tomorrow the replacing the fixture and vaulted ceiling fan that hangs above the staircase. The last electrician that installed it 20 years ago put in a PLASTIC box so eventually it broke and the fan was precariously dangling by wires. Rick is very honest, communicates well, and just a pleasant person. He is also very busy in high demand, so we scheduled this collection of projects a few weeks in advance. I actually didn't have a service call from this company. My lights were brightening and dimming in my house. I contacted other electricians and they said they wouldn't know what was going on unless they came out with a $99 minimum and that they were not available for at least a day. I called Journeyman Electrician and asked about a same day appointment. He said he didn't have one, but asked about what was going on. He then said that it's probably on SCE's side to fix it. Well, SCE showed up tonight and it was a neutral wire thingy that needs to be replaced. I bookmarked this company due to his help without asking for money and the honesty associated with that.
