I went in already aware of the shoe I was looking to purchase which was the black stretch web sandal, that unfortunately was not in stock . Jose B. Allowed me to try on a different color in the shoe so we can get the correct sizing. We proceeded to order the actual shoe I wanted and Jose stated I'll have my shoes by Wednesday, March 23, which I was ok with. I called Jose Thursday, March 24 asking was everything ok because the shoes never showed. He goes to tell me that the shoes had to come in from another store, he'll be shipping it out in a few and he'll send me the tracking and I'll have the shoe Friday, March 25. Friday comes, I track my shoes, and it says "Attempted delivery, no answer." Of course I had been waiting all day, so I was upset and called fedex to let them know absolutely no one had been to my home for a delivery. The lady asks me to verify my name and address only to tell me the street address was off by one number and I need to contact the merchant whom ship the package to overwrite and correct the shipping label. I called the store and spoke with Jose, whom was unapologetic and said it was no big deal, he could have them fix the shipping label and they'll be delivered by tomorrow, only for him to call right back and say they won't allow him to overwrite the shipping label. They'll have to send him the package back for him to create a new label, which means I would be getting the shoe Monday since it was already Friday evening. Jose B. made it as if it was no big deal. A mistake was made on their end, with little to non apology. I missed the delivery guy Monday, March 28. Now, I finally got the box today only to open it and the Bottega V shoe box is torn, the bag is raggedy, overall not happy with this purchase and this is one brand I might have to not revisit.

This is an expensive store, shoes are still good for the price, quality and .... compliments... It is a men's store. Just for fun I tried on a pair of XC4 waterproof shoes. I liked them. Afterall, I have a weird shape feet and find it soo hard to find closed shoes that work for me. I found them comfortable but big. I asked Maya to help me out with a smaller size. She did not have those. One thing about the store, if you don't see something on display its more than likely they don't have it. She did not carry a smaller size, but got me loafers and told me they were unisex. I loved them. Neural brown, criss cross stitch and posh looking . I didn't want a display piece so ordered one which will come home. The staff- especially Maya was very patient and friendly. It was a good experience especially considering that now I know, I can wear men's shoes too and feel absolutely comfy ! ;) These shoes last long. And being men's, the option in colors is pretty much limited to black, shades of brown and blue. So, that's a relief, I won't be visiting them anytime soon - saved my pocket . Lol... Johnston and Murphy - a great store with a 175 year old American History to its credit.
