Hoping my insurance will cover another dentist to get it filled, since the records show they paid 1/2 (I paid the other 1/2) of the cost. Also hoping to get my 1/2 of the fee refunded.

I was told I needed a root canal, trusted the recommendation, and from there everything went downhill. The crown fell off, was replaced, and never fit correctly. I went back multiple times for adjustments, but my bite was never right and the pain never stopped. What's worse, I was refused routine cleanings for TWO YEARS because the dentist insisted on fixing this one tooth--something that never actually got resolved. I even asked about removing the tooth and was repeatedly dismissed. Finally, I sought a second opinion. Turns out the tooth was fractured and infected all along and should have been pulled from the beginning. Now I'm dealing with an abscess and a much bigger problem than I started with. This was a long, frustrating, and painful experience that could have been avoided. Please do yourself a favor--get a second opinion before committing to major work here

If I could give a negative star I would. I am very dissatisfied with Premier Dental on Olive Blvd…read more Today, I had a 4:00 PM cleaning appointment and arrived at 4:10 PM, only to find the doors locked. When the front desk staff opened the door, I was told their cutoff time was 4:10 and that I could not be seen -- even though I was there by 4:10. I drove 40 minutes to get there and have been a loyal patient for over seven years, yet they still refused to honor my appointment. They don't even close until 5:00 PM, so this policy makes no sense. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time I've experienced poor customer service here. It's clear that patient care and customer experience are not priorities for this office. I will no longer be returning, and my family will also be transferring our care elsewhere. I guess they are not concerned with keeping loyal patients!

I am dissatisfied with the office management at Premier Dental Partners in West County at 12528…read moreOlive Blvd (PDP). My opinion is that this location has highly inept office management. You should consider whether the inconvenience of dealing with the incompetent office management is worth the aggravation. This is my opinion only, but I believe this PDP location is going through some kind of upheaval related to staffing. This is forgivable, and can happen with any business. Even so, it is one thing for a company that is in turmoil to make a mistake, it is something else for that company's' mid-level employees to try to blame the customer by implying that the customer had made the error. I have been a satisfied patient at PDP for the last 15 years, but something happened to cause this business to cancel two confirmed appointments within 5 days - with the second appointment being canceled while I was standing in front of them letting them I know I was there for that appointment. Dr. Brown had called 5 days earlier to cancel my original appointment due to "your hygienist is going to be out," so I called the following day and rescheduled and received an email from PDP that this second appointment was confirmed. I suspect the issue is due to a turnover in their hygienists, based and an overheard conversation between what I believe were the office manager(s) about trying to reschedule another patient because, and I quote, "another hygienist that doesn't want to play with us." In addition, the office staff/manager that I quoted here insisted to me that there was no appointment for me because they were waiting for me to reschedule the original appointment that they had cancelled. I mentioned to the office staff/manager that I HAD rescheduled and had received an email confirmation of the new appointment, and I showed her that email. Her response was "I'm sorry, but sometimes those automated emails...." [she trailed off and did not finish that thought]. Having worked in the healthcare industry for 30 years, I am reasonably certain that an automated email confirmation would not have gone out unless the patient scheduling system had a record of the appointment. As I said, it is one thing for a business that is in turmoil to make a mistake, it is something else for that business' high level employees to claim that a self-evident mistake never happened. Not recommended. I will not be going back there.
